"Please Sonakshi, help me" he cries into her.
Both of them are embracing each other, feeling to hold each other till eternity. The fear is there, the fear of losing each other, but she made up her mind. she has to Sacrifice herself for him.
She hold him tight, they both are merging into each other.
"Dev.." voice filled with emotions, she tries to compose herself. She shifts a little to get air but he is not ready to let air pass between them.
"Dev...Listen to me, Please!" she speaks in his chest with pounding heart.
She loosens her hold and part away a bit, takes his face in her hands and kisses on his forehead.
"I know, it's difficult, but my love for you is forever." she points a finger to herself " This Dr. Bose is going to love you all her life."
Caressing his face " but because of a relationship that hasn't developed yet, you are not going to hurt your 29 years of it for them whom you know for long."
"your sister, MOTHER" she tells.
"you know how much Aunty ji is happy to see you achieving all in your life, she feels proud of all the efforts, YOUR EFFORTS",
He disapproves her ,moves back and turn away behaving like child who is not ready to take in for anything.
"You know Something, I thought Life has taken all tests of mine and my mother, never expected this will happen too." He puts forward his emotions to her. " I never wanted to loose anything and I never did and I will not loose you too."
She cuts him " and you will not loose the deal too."
"DEAL?" he wondered why she is so concern about deal than not him.
"It's just not deal, it's all your life's hardwork, you have waited for this, you have waited to be the first at any cost."
" you are the COST" he speaks.
Turning him towards her to face him " I am not the cost, how can it be? I am not asking you to forget me, am not asking you not love me."
"then what exactly are you asking" he questions with a pinch of frustration.
"priority!!, I was never a part of your hardwork but from a while Natasha is and your Mother has always been, put her love above all." she clears the tear rolling down on his face and he turns to kiss her hand.
"Don't make me guilty of loving you, PLEASE!!" she claims with all affection and love.
"Love me, don't run away from me because if you will do, it will hurt you."
"then what to do?" he asks
"Don't remember me, this is it, doesn't matter where we will be after this, don't pretend to not love me, be busy in your life." she explains him.
"If you will WIN,I will WIN too." While explaining him, his phone rings and it's her mother.
"Hello Sona beta, tum apna phone kyun nahi utha rahi ho, sab theek hai na!" a concerned mother asks."
"haan maa sab theek hai, bas Mr. Dixit mujhe ghar CHOD RAHE hain."she looks at him, holds his hand and walks towards the car.
Current day
"Half of it I knew and half you told me" Natasha tells him looking at him when they are about to exchange rings.
"So, you let her go, for the deal." she questions Dev
" I didn't, she was adamant, she left me for the deal."
" she didn't leave Dev, she sacrificed herself for you, when you both have not even started to feel each other properly." explains him.
"and you love her so much that you got ready." she continues
a tear rolls down his eyes. "I had no choice, she asks for PROMISE."
" PROMISE?, when?"
Meanwhile everyone was searching for them, Natasha was taken aback by Sonakshi's sacrifice that somehow she manages to convince both the families to wait for sometime before they exchange rings, she excused herself of being not in mind space to engage, surprising Dev though.
Hearing this, Ishwari got confused, she thought what's up with this girl, at first she was so excited to get married to him and now suddenly dropping to engage. She got angry but in front of Dev, she doesn't speak anything, she believes if Dev is fine, then she too doesn't have a problem.
In the night,on the terrace where Dev usually comes, Natasha follows her and keeps an eye on him, when she found out, he just stands near the edge looking someone in no one. She proceeded towards him and asks "What Promise, when?"
" I can't tell you" he claims without facing her.
" Why?"
" that's personal" he tells straight.
"You can tell me , you know it."
He takes deep breath shuts his eyes and melts with a thought "I hurt her"
" you can never hurt anyone" assuring him, she replies.
"I did" he claims.
"Just 10 days back"
She is been called by her father leaving the discussion in between. She bids a good night to Dev, leaving Dev thinking about ...
10 days back..
" Hi Tina" Sonakshi came to office to receive her final letters from Ishwari enterprises.
"Hello Dr. Bose" greets Tina
" Dr. Bose, your papers are ready, just few signatures are left, Sir is in meeting, you please wait, while I inform him about you." she tells
" Umm Tina, please get them signed, I am in hurry, don't tell him I have come, just finish the paper work and kindly give them to me." she requests.
Tina understood and went into the meeting, he excused Dev for a while and get her paper's signed.
Though he was busy and signed papers, when he was just turning away back to his table, he saw her waiting outside from his cabin from a little non-frosted glass, this made him loses his control.
He understood why Tina came to have her papers signed that made him angry. He excuses himself from his cabin and expected to have meeting continued without him, which was possible.
He called the guard ordered him to switch off the lift till he orders to turn it on. He went to the stairs of his office and made sure no one else from other floor could come from this side of stairs, they can use the other stair.
When Sonakshi reaches to catch lift, she was informed to use stairs instead. THE PARTICULAR STAIRS.
She opens the door but it was shut by someone else. She was taken in his arms and caged near the wall.
"What is this DEV?" a horrified Sonakshi questions.
" You said not to run away from the fact of LOVE,but you are running away." with this he gets closer to her, his whole body is charged up with the closeness. He was onto her sending chills down her spine too.
She didn't answer back as she was not able to control herself from melting down under him.
"Dev" she speaks between their lips untouched, just close baring breaths.
The name from her and he lost all his control, he kissed her passionately, he wanted to show how angry he was that she didn't meet him. To his surprise, she was responding to the kiss. he waited to breath and for the first time he had an urge to have her body, to get into her, he lifted her a little and pushed hard against the wall and started rubbing himself up and down.
She speaks under his kisses.." Dev", he kissed all her skin which was visible. he turns her face to the wall and repeated his act of making out, leaving her morn.
His phone rings in between breaking them from the moment. It was Natasha from the meeting.
He kept it ringing while Sonakshi who was now in senses pushed him away.
" this is not right, let me leave." She took her bag, composed herself back, retouched her her quickly and was about to leave when her arm was grabbed.
" I am signing the deal right now" he informs her.
She is surprised if he is, then what is he doing here.
"and I will sign only if you finish this moment here for the first and last time.I promise you will never touch anyone else ever."
Love stoke them back, she closes herself to him for the last time probably. He was against the wall and she kissed him, slowly, it's love more than passion now. He hold her waist tight, "Rub me BOSE"
Listening this she steps back hurt "No Dev, I won't dirt my love for you." she leaves.
He understood that he hurt her, he was shocked what just happened to him, he was never in such thoughts and how he acted for them with her. He kept calling her but she never picked up the call.
"SORRY, I didn't mean to hurt you." he texted.
"But you did, those moments are always special, you made it a deal to me" she texted back
That night both cried.
