Mr. Impossible

It's been 3 months... 3 long months since she was done with her work in Ishwari Niwas. Ever since she had gone, he felt empty, his house felt empty. His family playing games, singing and dancing around, was all gone with her. Their everyday encounters... How much he misses them! He did not realize when and how did all this happen, but Mr.Dev Dixit, was officially & finally in love with Ms.Sonakshi Bose.

On the last day of her work in Ishwari Niwas, he felt a tug at his heart. He wouldn't get to see her again. Everyday. He didn't know what and why was he feeling' at that time, but now he is sure! There is no day where he wouldn't miss her. Wherever she went , whatever she did, her concern for him, controlling his diet...and most important of all, taking care of his family.

Has she moved on? Is she married? To that Kushal Roy? He was thinking, was jealous even at the thought of her being with that.. That Kushal Roy.

"Hello Tina.. I want you to find out details about Sonak... Ms.Bose and let me know about her whereabouts. Where is she , what is she doing and all."

"But sir, why now? She isn't even working under you anymore"

"Just do as I say, and I want the information by tomorrow morning" and he cuts the phone.

The next day, Tina gives in all the details about Sonakshi to Dev. Where she works and what is she doing at the moment, is she engaged/married. But to his relief, she wasn't taken. He was also told that she has a profile on a matrimonial site. He was shocked to see all the information she had put up, it was the exact same thing he had put in the profile he had made for her.

"Tina, make a new profile on this site as well as on Facebook, with a different name though, Devakar, and a random picture, and make sure it looks like this Devakar is interested in meeting her, and fix a date with her"

"Sure sir" and out the room went a giggling Tina.

Once the profiles were made, Dev logged into Devakar's' Facebook and sent a friend request to Sonakshi.

Waiting forever now, suddenly he gets a notification.

Sonakshi Bose has accepted your friend request' she's online! Great!

"Hello"

"Hello Mr.Devakar. How are you?"

"I'm good how are you?"

Dev was sweating ... He has never been so tensed ever before than this point! He felt like a creep doing all this, and never did he ever think he'd be doing something like this... Oh the things we do for love!

After about an hour of chatting , he finally managed to fix a date with her at a cafe nearby, since Tina wasn't able to do so.

Feeling super tensed as if he was going to crack one of the biggest business deals, he went off to sleep.

The day had arrived and he had to meet her today. He couldn't describe how happy he was, but equally tensed too. He would be seeing her after 3 months, long months!

On purpose he had arrived to the cafe a little late, just to see her sitting there in a beautiful red saree, looking beautiful than ever before.

Sonakshi had arrived at the cafe Devakar asked her to come, and there was nobody, except for her and a few waiters, smiling at her and giving her roses and she was more than confused.

"Bhaiyya, why are you doing all this?"

"These are sirs orders, and we have to follow them"

"But where is everyone else? "

"Ma'am, this whole cafe has been booked for an hour by sir, for you"

She was surprised. Who is this Devakar? Sounds like some romantic, extremely rich guy she thought.

Dev was watching all this from outside, looking at all the surprised expressions her face was showing. Well, now is the right time Dev, you should go in! You can do it! He was motivating himself mentally and patting himself for the arrangements he had made. He was surprised at his own skills.

Mustering courage, he finally managed to open the cafe door and enter inside, to one of the most beautiful sites he had seen. Sonakshi was busy admiring and smiling at the roses , looking beautiful. Beautiful would still be an understatement.

She looked very beautiful in sarees.. He remembered the last time she wore a saree, when she went to meet Kushal. He couldn't get his eyes off her.

Sonakshi felt someone's presence in the cafe, and she looked up, to find Dev, Mr.Dev Dixit standing a few meters away from her. She was shocked and was mentally smacking herself for thinking about Dev here also. Sona! What are you thinking? You're here to meet Devakar...not Dev!'

She closed her eyes to clear off her thoughts. Dev was just standing there and wondering what is she doing.

"Ms.Bose"

Great! Now you're hearing his voice too' she wanted to run away now.

"Dr.Bose... Sonakshi? Sona?"

She opened her eyes wide just to see him standing there calling out her name. Yes it was him, her Dev, whom she had missed so much over the last few months. Ever since the hospital incident, she hasn't managed to get him out her head. There was no day, or moment where she wouldn't miss him. But she knew she had no chance with him, so she planned to move on, by not accepting his offer to work with him, creating profiles on matrimonial sites and all. She thought she would move on in life and would gradually forget him, but failing to do so.

"Mr.Dixit...you? What are you doing here?" She was stunned. Does he look more handsome or are my eyes playing tricks on me? Sona! What are your thinking? You're here to meet Devakar'

"Well... How do I explain.. I'm here to meet you."

"I'm sorry Mr.Dixit, but I am here to meet someone else"

"Devakar?"

"How do you know??!"

"Well, hello, I'm Devakar" he said embarrassingly.

She couldn't believe her ears, was this guy even real?

"So it was you?"

"Yes"

"You made a fake profile on that site to meet me?"

"Yes"

"You made a fake account to chat with me?"

"Yes"

"You could've done this directly also right?"

"Yes, but I thought you wouldn't come"

"And why wouldn't I come?"

"I don't know... I just thought so"

Sonakshi couldn't believe all of that. Here , Dev was sitting and admitting all that like a small child. He had done all that to meet me? But why?

"And why did you do all this?"

"Because I had something important to talk to you"

"And that is?"

"Listen Sonakshi, I'm not forcing you, you can think about it... It's just that I don't know how to say it, as I am a person with few words, but ever since you've left my house, I feel like I've lost something. I feel empty. I don't know how and when, but slowly and steadily I had started to miss you, your presence, your smile, and every other moment I had spent with you. I never realized how much I cared for you , until I really sat and thought about it. And all this, these decorations and all, I don't know would you like it and all, but I tried to make it as beautiful as possible for you. You know how I am, I wouldn't just do this for anyone. So miss Sonakshi Bose... I just wanted to say that, I love you." Phew! Well done Dev!

Sonakshi just sat there, staring at him. Dev snapped his fingers after not getting any response from her for 2 minutes straight. Coming out of her shock, she just stood up followed by Dev.

"Ms. Bose, I'm sorry if I hurt you. I did not mean to do so. It's okay if you want to reject. It's all your wish" Dev was panicking now.

She just stared at him , how could he be so ... Dumb? Which girl in the world would not love all what he had done for her?

"Tumi impossible" and saying that she hugged him , as if her life depended on him. Dev couldn't believe what was happening, but when he realized, he hugged her back with the same intensity. "I love you too, Dev. I always did, but I never really had the courage to come up to you and say it. Not like you did" and they both giggled.

Breaking their hug, she told, "I didn't know you'd be so romantic Mr.Abodhro. And Devakar? Really? You didn't get any other name? And what Ms.Bose? I like it when you say Sona " Giggled Sonakshi.

Feeling embarrassed , he couldn't help but smile. After 3 months, he felt peace, he felt alive all over again.
