Hey, everyone.😊 It seems to be the season for OS's, so I thought to add my own spice to this mix of flavors. With such an amazing precap to wait for, this is surely a long weekend for all of us KRPKAB viewers. My only intention while writing this was: Our waiting won't make Monday come any faster, so let us make do with what we can.😉
P.S. I'm sure most of you'll must be salivating at the thought of a rain sequence!

Where It All Began? - In the Rain
Sonakshi smiled as she recalled how they had begun. They - as in Dev and Sonakshi, a.k.a. DevAkshi.
She blushed, remembering the number of times they had all ridiculed Ria, who was the one to come up with the apparently ridiculous shipping name.
Turns out, she was the one who was right all along. It was they who were too blind to see what was right in front of their eyes all that time.
With this thought in mind, she peeked at the man sitting beside her, only to find him watching her, a soft smile on his face.
She smiled back, eager to see his eyes light up with the same emotion it had since that moment. He did not disappoint. She reminisced about the countless number of times she had sat, trying to make out that very same emotion which shone in his eyes every time he looked at her.
Of course, she understood now, since it was the same emotion which now shined in her eyes whenever she saw him.
He held her hand in his, a silent reassurance that this was, in fact, reality and not a dream. He did not ask, didn't need to. For it was understood by both, that they were living their dream. That wasn't important however, what was, was that they were living it together.
Astounded, would be the word to describe her at the moment, at the change in the man in front of her, at the change in herself. And it was a change for the better.
She had tagged Dev as Mr. Obodhro early in their acquaintance. How couldn't she? After all, he was the most infuriating man of her acquaintance-still was, as a matter of fact. The only difference between then and now, was, that he was now her infuriating man, her Mr. Obodhro. And it would forever remain so, if it was in her power.
She ruffled his hair, messing it up even more. It would be a lie to claim that it wasn't one of her favorite activities.
Tilting her head to the right, she gestured to the outside, where it had started raining. She waited for his reply, but not hearing his response even after a moment or two, she turned back to him, only to find him still staring at her.
Shaking her head in fond exasperation, she slapped the back of his head. Chuckling, she watched as he regained his senses.
Lost in my eyes, were you?' was the impertinent question she then asked, a glint of amusement in her eyes.
Her countenance softened imperceptibly as she saw him nod seriously in answer to her question.
Feeling mischievous, she pulled her hand from under his and ran out into the front garden, twirling in the rain.
She saw him crossing his arms, leaning against the porch railing, content watching her. But she was not, and so she ran again, dragging him with her.
They both were drenched in a matter of seconds. He caught hold of her hands, placing them on his shoulders, as his arms snaked around her waist- both of them once again beginning an unspoken tradition.
They danced in the rain, or rather swayed, lost in the moment.
Sonakshi wondered yet again, what might have happened had she accepted the other job offer that night, what if he hadn't asked her for a dance, what if she hadn't accepted?
So many what if's...
But as they leaned closer, their foreheads touching as rivulets of raindrops ran down their faces and their eyes closed, overwhelmed by their love for each other...
She somehow believed that they would have still found their way to each other, for they were meant to be.
It's the end of this OS, but it is just the beginning of their story...
