I absolutely loved the dimensions of Veer's character that we were shown today. As I had hoped, he did share with Krishna how he was feeling (he didn't want to talk to her, but at the same time, he couldn't leave her feeling sad without an explanation).

Veer has seen himself as the protector of his family since his father passed away. He said himself that he raised Nayani and sees her like his daughter. And he is clearly Sunaina's pillar of strength as well. Now he sees Krishna as his to protect also, and based on the events of yesterday, he believes that he has failed his family, and especially Krishna.

His comment about how he said he would get her from her maaika and couldn't even do that because he was in jail broke my heart. The poor man was behind bars for a crime he didn't even commit, and all he could think about was the fact that his wife deserved a better first day of marriage than he was able to give her.

Veer has always held himself to a high standard, whether it be as a doctor or as the caretaker for his family. Yesterday's incident tore away at both of those roles in his life. I loved watching Krishna help him understand that he didn't fail in those roles, and none of it was his fault. Veer is still the pillar of the family, and now he has his beautiful sherni at his side to protect them as well ❤️

I am so happy Renu that they showed him expressing his feelings to Krishna. He needed someone to cheer him up. I felt bad for him yesterday. The guy who always was respected in London, his world turned upside down. He had gone through a lot in life since childhood. I always had sympathy with veer since I knew how his father died and how he would have struggled hard to achieve that respect and honour. It's not easy to get that. He always had this emotional side of him. Even, in London when he rebuked Krishna, still, he was not a bad person, He had gone through a lot and that made him little rude. Krishna, that's why understood him so early, after filing a complaint. She felt guilty. He was broken yesterday, he was tortured, then also, he didn't blame Krishna, as somewhere, still, Krishna is, though unintentionally, responsible for his condition. He blames himself. He is the man of honour. 😊

I'm so happy he talked to her too, Renee! They're already such a strong couple, and this type of communication between them is going to be very important as they move forward. Veer clearly isn't comfortable opening up and sharing his feelings with anyone yet - he is used to being strong and carrying his burdens silently and alone, pouring his heart out in his music instead. But now he has a caring, empathetic wife who he can share his feelings with. I look forward to more moments like this
