Meena was maybe a big star big screen, but in small screen, her acting are not good if we compare her with other tv actress who carry off their roles very good.

I stopped liking Arjun the day he wanted to rape laxmi, and laxmi escaped cleverly. That's how sick he is, and needs to visit a psychologist.
I'm surprised by any viewer who even thinks of comparing laxmi gopalswamy vs. meena. Meena is the biggest star on Suntv. She's acted with the superstar, and in more than one movie as his heroine? The has 10's and 1000's for several years in front of the camera. Sje has better academic qualifications. Laxmi G. can never match that. And yes, she's fit only for villee roles, not heroine oriented subjects.

Don't underestimate our villi Nethra (Laxshmi Gopalaswamy). She is not in anyway inferior to Meena both in her academic qualifications or her acting abilities. Acting as a goody-goody person is not a tough role but try doing the negative character - its much more difficult coz you have to make sure its done with perfection and being absolutely realistic. The more the viewers hate that character means the star has excelled in his or her role.😊

I have seen her interview on Surya tv....from which I observed that she is an intelligent and capable personality. She was trying her best to speak in her stammering Malayalam but eventually ended up speaking in Tamil with fluency with the consent of the host, so that she could speak out her thoughts in details. 👏 Hats off to Lakshmi Gopalaswamy...the upcoming and promising starlet..!!😃

I was only joking when I said Laxmi G. can do only villee roles. I did see her on UTube in some mallu version of Mastana Mastana where she could not muster even a malayalam sentance and spoke in english. Also on google, to find her one has to type lakshmi gopalsamy, where as Meena, tamil actress has many sites and been in 10's of movies as a heroine. How hard that role is to get.

Even legends like Trisha Krishnan and Sneha have not managed to act with the great superstar. Meena is one of his favorites. She has a masters or 2. Indeed an all time great. How she maintains herself! And how gracious of her to appear on small screen. Am sure she underperfoms just to accomodate the others. Vijay Adiraj is so perfect for her. BTW, an additional qualification I forgot to mention is, she is available!!! 😭 I know I stand no chance.

i dont know anything about Lakshmi G, having never seen her anywhere else...but all i know is that in this serial, she just rocks! her acting is way better than meena.
as for meena acting with superstar twice..what does that matter? in his films, it's all about him and no one else (dont get me wrong, i'm a big fan of him) but meena acting with him is so minor...the only actress who has equalled him in a film is ramya in padayappa.
anyway, meena is not so great..she was only good as a child actress.
