Oh simi tonights episode was such a waste. I have no clue why they show so much torture.

Agreed, it was a wasted episode.

The REACTION that Usha & parents had when the inspector said that he had arrested her on a Brothel case , was so so pathetic.

Tired of Usha's mom squeaking like a mouse caught between the door. so irritating.😡

And What's UP with the cops arresting a pregnant Usha on & off. I guess since USHA & ADHI are headstrong in their own way, their kid will also not give into such low level tortures😉

Hi. I happened to watch today's show. Here goes:

12/30/05 [Friday]

Adi's maternal grandmother comes to ask Kaanjana [adi's mom] why Adi's marriage is happening in a temple instead of a grand place. Kaanjana, of course, disagrees with her mother, and tells minister to not mind her mother's words. Then, minister steps out of the temple. He tells his policemen and rowdy boys to not let anyone in the temple. He also tells his rowdy boys to not be afraid of the policemen {?}. After a while, Abhi, Aanandhi, Tolakapiyan, and many people from the press club arrive in two cars and a bus with signs and hold a strike. The policeman threatens the ppl going on strike, but they refuse to listen to him. When the policeman doesn't let them enter, the "strikers" start their chants for "needhi" and "nyaayam". As this goes on, the minister orders his rowdy boys and policemen to ward off the crowd of strikers by force and attack. While this is happening, the head person of a party arrives and questions what's all the commotion. After hearing that the policemen used force against press ppl, he scolds te policeman, and asks abhi why she is holding a strike. Abhi, of course, explains the whole issue about her friend usha and how the minister planned to kill her. When the head person asks policeman on what affair he arrested usha, the policeman responds that the affair isn't clear yet. The head person scolds policeman and demands him to bring Usha and family out of prison. Then, the head person, minister, and abhi go together into the temple. Adi and Rekha see this, and the serial stops there.
