Yup.Abhishek has been good with such roles.as in Bluff master and Bunty aur Bubli 😊I prefer such roles to his serious guy roles like the ones in Sarkar.

Radha Mohan himself has said tht he had Jyothika in mind when he scripted Mozhi, and tht it was Jyothika whom he had approached first;but Jyothika was then rejecting every movie which came her way(Radha Mohan has told this in a number of interviews), since she was already plannng her retirement. It was Then tht the role went to Asin, who rejected it. Radha Mohan and Prakash Raj then made Jyothika read the script of Mozhi, and after going thru it, Jyothika apparently had tears in her eys and said'It's gud tht u ppl came back to me....else I wud hv missed soemthing as beautiful as this'. 😃

I remember watching a video interview of Radha Mohan on you tube saying so, btu can't find it now 😕 Here r soemthign, anyway.

If I remember right, we hv gone thru this b4.And I do rememebr substantiating my views on how Mozhi became a hit.Still, it doesn't take away the credit of her performance,even if it was the scrpt tht worked for Mozhi, or if it was all due to the director's talent. When gud work's done, it'll be appreciated.

As a side note;I don't remember ARM saying he had Surya in mind for Ghajini...Surya and ARM hv all admitted tht ARM had offered the role to other actors b4.So I guess ur theory of 'that every person will say after the film succeeds' isn't exactly valid. I'm surprised;it is common knowledge tht it was Jyothika whom Radha Mohan had preferred first-I rmeber seeing a news on Galatta.com India-glitz tagged soemthign like 'Jyothika rejects Rdaha Mohan film long b4 'Asin rejects Radha Mohan film too' came.

Yes I do accept tht Shriya is the Queen of Tamil Cinema.Maybe she sin't, maybe Nayantara is...but even then does it imply tht Jyotika wasn't gud in Mozhi?Does it, CL?

Honestly, some of ur views crack me up....the one abt Priya casting Laila in Kanda Naal Muthal....tht's up to the director isn't it? Whom she thinks suits the role will be preferred.Laila had proved her skills b4, and hence she was given the role. So? Tell me why Laila wasn't cast in Thirumalai or Arul Or Dhool Or Kaakka Kaakka?Whom the director's and producers want, they will be given the role. Puh- leese!

Well, as far as I know, most actresses who've made it big did not give their own voice at all. Shobana won the National Award for Manichithrathazhu, and she did not give her own voice for the film.And she's considered as one of the best actresses in India. She's never given her voice for any of her Mal films;I'm not sure abt her Tamil films.Even after acting in Mal films at the age of 13, she still can't speak a full sentence in Mal. Even then,ppl love to watch her on screen. So I personally don't think giving ur own vocie is ahuge criteria.....😃
