NT has something that Trisha or most other actresses do not. She appears in these photo shoots with Vijay/Dhanush and all. I'd seen her in an interview with Dhanush in which she was so candid. And someone said it here, she's passed the 1 cr. mark. NT is a role model for other actresses.

Leena, for tht matter, even my stylish hero Surya has looked like a peon at some functions..........thts the only thing I don't like abt Surya.When u r 33, u have to look like u r 33......why wear all the yellow, pink and green T-shirts? Ajith is the only hero, and maybe Vikram too, who maintains style at functions and not just on screen.

Not to steal the Ilayathalapathi's fire, but sure Karthikka, why not? Given the following facts, tel me which actress on this planet would rather not be in her shoes:
Shreya's last project where she had a super duper role, Sivaji, the numbers:
a) Maximum
distribution rights fetched for a Tamil movie (Rs. 100 crores plus);
b) Maximum prints for a Tamil movie; c) Maximum number of theatres
for a Tamil/South Indian movie; d) Maximum number of shows screened
in a day for a Tamil/South Indian movie; and e) Biggest opening for
an INDIAN MOVIE.
Please remember Sivaji achieved all the above records and more BO
records, WITHOUT ANY KIND OF PROMOTION FROM THE
PRODUCER/DISTRIBUTOR. There was no road show organised for Sivaji;
no grand audio release function done (in fact some songs got leaked
in net before formal release); no grand trailer release promo done
for Sivaji. In spite of all these things, Sivaji grabbed the
maximum eye-balls in National Television audiences before its
release & in Movie Halls after its release. Of course, it created a
record for audio sales too.

As for NT, she's now a K. Balachander product as well. It's said that only the superstar's movie can beat his own records.
She's in Kuselan, produced by Kavitalaya, KB's banner where the superstar only has a 25% role. Even shreya would be envious.

Ditts, this is what I am saying about South Indian actors. If you compare how the actors from north appear for the award show and south actors appear for their award shows, the north put the south in shame.

Practically all the actors will appear like they are coming out from the slums. Unclean, unshaved, jeans, etc. Mismatched clothes and attire. Only one who appears always with proper attire is Vairamuthu. Indian culture clothes and right shoes/sandals to go with it. Good for him.

In one of the magazines in my country, they showed the best dressed men and worst. Vijay, Karthi, Ajith, Prakashraj, all appeared under worst dressed. Infact, Vijay got 'telling off' for wearing jeans to a wedding function. Karthi was asked to get ideas from his brother.

If u ask me, Karthi shud give his big bro some tips.I felt like crying when I saw the pics of the Ayan launch. Tams looked gorgeous, and Surya looked really bad in a pink shirt and with a dumb hairstyle 🤢Thne there was a function which he attened with Vishal, and BOTH looked awful. Next there was the VV launch and wht surya wore for tht function was really sickening.

I've read an article where South Indian designers complained abt the dressign sense of actors;they said most don't go to designers b4 attending functions for tips, and those who do, want to look realgorgeous/handsome but with minimum cost.

Something tht I dont understand is why, when actors appear in high class suits and threads at award functions, like filmfare of course, our actors appear in casuals.

Exactly Ditts....... for all the crores/millions they are earning for each of their movie, the least they can do is keep some budget for their clothes. I wonder what the wives were doing letting their men out of the house with such disastrous match of colours.

Karthika and I had a good laugh, actually we siblings including my brothers were giggling when we saw Prakashraj's sense of attire. Red trousers and purple long sleeve tee. 😆

I was mad with Kushboo for letting out her husband to an award show in the most dirtiest clothes I have ever seen. 🤢 🤢 🤢 If I was Kushboo, I would have given C. Sunder a good scrub before letting him out of the house. 😡 😡 On second thoughts, I would have put him in a washing machine first. 😆

If these actors wants to copy the west, then they should copy the sense of dressing in every way. I mean every. From hairstyle, designs, socks, shoes and all the appropriate accessories. Otherwise they should stick to the traditional clothes i.e. veshti and shirt.

Nowadays, young men are so fashion conscious compared to women to the extend they go for facial as well. What is wrong these young actors! 😲

Dont tell me abt Sundar C yaar,the shirts tht he wears usually are multicoloured-pink, red ,blue, green all together.You know I saw a parrot with all such coloured feathers at the Mysore Zoo two days back 😆 And whether he ever combs his hair is a good question.

It really hurt me when , in rediff, there was an article abt Surya, and soem North Indians commented tht he looks like an ape and soem said he looks like a bus conductor. 😕

Am sure our actors get themselves facials and thread their eyebrows and all tht, but wht they need is somebody who can advice them properly on wht to wear and how to look, and pls , u hv lots of money why not spend some of it to look good?

Caryn....ahem.ahem...north actors dress up good..but have u seen their shoes...they dont wear shoes...but chappals😕 I think they need a good lection on shoes sense😆

Ajith was on that list? Cause he actually won the best dressed actor in south on galattas sides..I think he actually have good sense to dress up during functions, esp after he got married to Shalini..not saying this cause I am his fan. 😊

nice discussion...for long time ago..I saw our stars attending functions and wanted to post some pictures of them on different events...and their sense for fashion...have u all seen what Parthipaan wears for weddings?😆
