Not to steal the Ilayathalapathi's fire, but sure Karthikka, why not? Given the following facts, tel me which actress on this planet would rather not be in her shoes:
Shreya's last project where she had a super duper role, Sivaji, the numbers:
a) Maximum
distribution rights fetched for a Tamil movie (Rs. 100 crores plus);
b) Maximum prints for a Tamil movie; c) Maximum number of theatres
for a Tamil/South Indian movie; d) Maximum number of shows screened
in a day for a Tamil/South Indian movie; and e) Biggest opening for
an INDIAN MOVIE.
Please remember Sivaji achieved all the above records and more BO
records, WITHOUT ANY KIND OF PROMOTION FROM THE
PRODUCER/DISTRIBUTOR. There was no road show organised for Sivaji;
no grand audio release function done (in fact some songs got leaked
in net before formal release); no grand trailer release promo done
for Sivaji. In spite of all these things, Sivaji grabbed the
maximum eye-balls in National Television audiences before its
release & in Movie Halls after its release. Of course, it created a
record for audio sales too.

As for NT, she's now a K. Balachander product as well. It's said that only the superstar's movie can beat his own records.
She's in Kuselan, produced by Kavitalaya, KB's banner where the superstar only has a 25% role. Even shreya would be envious.

i think most of the actors in india, whether north or south usually don't dress as well as hollywood stars do. however i must say that if you compare north indian actors to certain south indian stars, the northerners all look positively dapper.😉😆😆

vijay's attire both onscreen & off just make me murderous. surya's attires are sometimes shamefully garish. hell even rajinikanth doesn't dress well. at ALL. what exactly is wrong with some of our beloved south indian stars? are they all fashion illiterate or something?

there are some exceptions though. for instance, madhavan. he's usually in a classy suit or smart shirts & pants.😛 i've not noticed his footwear though.😆😆 ajith's dressing is not too bad either. i liked the suits he wore for the sun tv & vijay tv interviews. very sharp & elegant.👏

actresses.. i think asin, trisha (only in some instances), jothika & simran have got good dressing sense offscreen.

PS : sivaji was a huge success mainly because of rajini. it was a one man show. if it's a rajini film no promotion is needed. people are going to watch it in throngs anyway.😊

ditty, i understand what you mean, that rajini is really simple & humble. he has the guts to appear in public just the way he is.👏👏 i applaud that too but there is a difference to being simple & being plain scruffy. rajini usually looks scruffy, that's the problem.😆😆
