i just had the chance to watch 'vazthukal' today & i really liked the film. it had a lot of similarities between srk's & kajol's DDLJ but madhavan & bhavana added their own dose of romance & emotions into it.

in these days of masala drenched films with overdose of action sequences 'vazthukal' was like a breath of fresh air. i think bhavana was at her best in this film. she looked gorgeous in every single frame & acted rather well in those intense emotional scenes.👏👏

madhavan was good as usual, he has never disappointed me with his performances. maddy is one actor who can do these kind of pure chocolately type of roles & still come off in the end with a mature performance.👏 the chemistry between him & bhavana sustained the film greatly.😛

the songs were good too. they were soft & soothing. this is one film where i didn't see any item or ghana songs. my fav song in the film is enthan vaanamum neethan. it was picturised well & the scenery was simply breathtaking!

I agree Jiggs.. Maddy is one actor who carries himself very will on screen and gives the right performance expected outta him..I think he is more of an actor than a star!! You know what i mean...

oh yes suram.. we've got too many stars in kollywood instead of actors. madhavan however is an example of an acting actor. he's a star in his own right but that doesn't hinder him from giving memorable performances.👏👏

madhavan is one hero who hasn't ever indulged in punch dialogues that the likes of rajini, vijay, ajith, simbu are so fond of. maddy prefers to let his acting speak for himself than just talking crap nonstop. i hope for his sake & talent madhavan will never ever do a perarasu film.😆😆😆

Vazhuthukal goes on the ever-growing list of movies I want to see (and don't get around doing it).

Jenim, I believe it will be telecasted on saturday according to dailythanthi, but somewhere it was written it will be live telecatsed as the audio launch will be the biggest ever event in Tamil film history with Jackie Chan, Big B, Mammooty, Vijay, Mallika and jeyaprada and Hemamalini..did u saw the pictures? 😉

I saw the pics. All the filmy men looked classy in black suit (even Vijay who wears Jeans to most events), except Mammooty - wasn't he informed of the dress code? 😆
