Friends, for those from Malaysia. Did you guys saw the changes in SunTv? Normally at 11.00pm they air this programme Siri Siri, but since yesterday, they start with old movies. Yesterday, they aired Chandraleka (oldies). Aso, lakshimi which airs at 10.00pm now airs at 10.30pm.Im suprised with this sudden changes....Anyone knows why? 😳

Nets dear, since u guys are 2 weeks behind us you only discovered that now 😆 ...actually they started this for 2 weeks ago here 😉 , I loved all of the movies they have showed so fare 😃 ...very good ones..but bad its air so late cause of school😭 Last night, they showed Pirasakthi, I think my dad most have watched that movie atleast 30 times 😕

They showed Chandralekha???? AARRGGHHH!! I saw a glimpse of black-and-white, and then my idiot of a brother said ah, old film and switched channels.

And my students thought 1984 was old. 😕

Hey gals,we don't get suntv here.we get only vijay tv & star group.i stopped following updates of anandham & kolangal too,which i used 2 do it a year bak.i'm quite relieved now.vijay tv serials are quite ok compared 2 sun & other tamil channels.

But i miss movies bcoz vijay tv has quite repititive movies.Not a gud movie 4 occasions like diwali,pongal.

Naalaiku chennai'la thirai ulagathinarin unnaviradham,10000 ppl participating 4m film fraternity.magazines says,rajni is also participating in it.give us sum more info guyz!!!!!!!

Sun TV and Jaya TV gave good movies this pongal. Only the timings troubled me-VV in Sun and KK in Jaya at the same time.Vijay is repetitive, the only thing I've ever liked is Kofee with Anu.

Eppo'ya Dasavadaram music launch!!!!!!! i'm waiting 2 hear himmesh's music in tamil.Ashiq Banaye Ashiq banaye'nu repeated stuff illama irundha sari thaan.i hope kamal & KSR gets better out of him 4 tamil audience.

bahms watch....everynight after lakshmi, they will screen a beautiful old movie. this is cos they are celebrating 75 years of tamil talkies.....

Cinemalover, thanks for your compilation of stats on Asin. Asin (like certain "popular" actresses), is a favorite for some directors, for reasons known to the directors alone. I don't think Aamir Khan was the only reason, Asin was cast in the Hindi Ghajini. There was heavy rooting for her, from director AR Murugadoss. In a recent interview he had said, I'm so glad we could cast Asin in the Hindi version as well. She's doing such a tremendous job and being her first movie in Hindi, she wants to give ground breaking performance, that after some of her shots/scenes are over, Aamir Khan is so stunned that he has to rethink his moves, so his performance is at par with hers! And Murugadoss went on to praise her some more!! He also says with utmost confidence, that Asin will not return to the South! Paappom..

Same thing with KS Ravikumar. In one of his first interviews on Dasavatharam, he said, Kamal was quite suspecting his (Ravikumar's) choice of a heroine for this movie. He kept asking me will Asin really fit the bill? (I think the pair for Iyengar Kamal's character, needs someone with good emoting talents).

KSR said "And I told him, she did a great job in Varalaaru 😕 , so I'm sure she will do very well here. And as the film shooting progressed, even Kamal is very happy with my choice!". hmmm.. Idhaiyum dhaan paappom 😉
