Vinnaithandi Varuvaya - Awesome work by ARR Sir - Page 2

thnkxx anj.. the songs sound gud to me.. ARR rocks big time icing on the cake is trisha, simbu and gowtham menon.. i cant wait for this movie im sure it'll be awsome

Vinnaithaandi varuvaaya(Will you cross the skies and come for me)??? This is one movie for whose audio i'm waiting for... for nearly a year... that too after hearing that hosanna song.... ARR sir u r genius... god of music... I like all the songs... They are really mind-blowing... My favorites are Hosanna(obviously) Kannukkul Kannai and Anbil Avan. Here's my view on all songs...

1. Omana Penne...
Nice starting... Like that Kalyani's malayalam part... Benny is awesome... it can be splitted as Omana penne (in mal used to describe a girl) and Oh mana penne (in tamil meaning the bride). Itz beautiful....

My fav lines are:
Piranthalum, inainthaalum,
Uyir korthu, sari paathi unathey..
Un inbam, un thunbam enathu..
Yen muthalodu mudi-vaanai'


2. Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya...
As Karthik is there, no need of anymore explanations... title song is absolutely fantastic... It sounds like a sad song... something like longing for lost love.....

My fav lines are:
Uyire neeyum naanum,
Pirinthadhu puthirrr-pu maiyathil thaaney..ooooohhhhhh
Iruthuruvam sern-antha orr-idam,
Anggatheythaan naam sernthomey..
Inimezh naanum neeyum pirivathillai..anbeyy..


3. Aaoromale...
Being a malayalee i was able to get the lyrix.... should applaud the genius ARR's creativity... sounds like some english track... really touching esp itz background music... Alphons is great...

My fav lines are:
Kadalinae, Karayodiniyum Padan Sneham Undo ?
Mezhukuthurikalayi Urukan Iniyum Pranayam Manasil Undo ?


4. Mannipaaya...
Well what to say.... When two best things combine in this world wat will happen?? Itz this song... the combination of National Award winner Shreya Goshal and Academy Award winner ARR is soul-lightning, fantabulous,.....it goes on. That thirukkural part is fantabulous.... Itz such a sweet melody with melancholy....

My fav lines are:
oru naal sirithen, maru naal veruthen
unai naan kollaamal kondru pudhaithene
mannipaaya mannipaaya.. .


5. Anbil Avan...
This is Devan's big re-entry i think... Chinmayi after her back-to-back hitz delivers a soulful performance... this duet sounds very catchy... that chorus part is the highlight...

My fav lines are:

Uyire unnai unnai yendhan,
Vaazhkai thunayaaga,
Yerkindren yerkindren..
Inimel puyal, veyil, mazhai,
Paalai, solai ivai,
Ondraaga kadappomey..


6. Kannukkul Kannai...
Itz one of my favorites in the album... Rendered by Naresh Iyer (of my favorite Munbe vaa from Sillunnu Oru Kadhal). Itz beautifully sung. Its tempo is well-handled by the solo singer... That too the opening music itself speaks about the song....

My fav lines are: (All lines but especially,)
Anbae ododi, vanthu yen kannai paarthu..
Kaadhalthaan yendru, solli yen kaayam maatru..


7. Hosanna...
Last but not least comes my hosanna... my fav song in this album... Love that rap part.. Starting part is toooo good and shifting of tone is toooooooo good.... Adorable.. catchy... will be one among the best ever songs....the music...itz a genius's music...

My fav lines are: (love the whole song but i mention the two most beautiful lines)
Yen idhayam udaithai, norungavae!?
En maru idhayam, tharuvaen nee udaikavae!


On the hole a soul-stirring music by our genius ARR. All the songs are lingering in my mind..... Thamarai, gautam's usual associate, has given very good lyrics... After the Harris-Gautam split, i never thought that gautam would give such a quality music in his film.... But he proved me wrong by joining hands with maestro ARR. The trailer looks impressive. It says "a different love story yet again" Can't wait to watch the film... I think the film is releasing by Feb 2010... The film has got good music review along with hype and expectations. I think the film will be paid for itz music itself... ARR is a big boon for this Simbu-Trisha starrer.....

My rating: 4/5 ****

I want to share my joy and excitement....
This is about ARR concert in Sydney, for Sydney Festival...

I along with my hubby and frnds went to the amazing and glittering
concert..This was specially organized my NSW govt. and ARR did this concert for free to mend the relationship between India and Aus.

Abt the concert:

Singer:
Hariharan, Sadhana Sargam, Tanvi Shah, Shewta Pandit, Neethi,
Benny Dayal, Ryhanna, Aslam Ali, Blaaze,Rashid Ali and Lush performed.

All through the event Drums Siva Mani was performing.

It was a fusion music.
