yeah thats what i heard too, javed akhtar and salim khan wrote many greta movies like sholay, don, i tihnk trishul and others they were a very suceesful team and became the highest paid script writers. btw the salim khan were talking about is the father of Salman Khan.

salim-javed had a falling out a long time ago i dont know why BUT javed did mention/thank salim when javed got his lifetime achievemnet award at this years filmfare awards, his overall speech was amazing everyone shoudl watch it.

After the fall out. Salim Khan went into oblivion wheras Javed Akhtar emerged as a winner. Later he became a successful lyricist. Salim Khan was really hurt and never spoke to Javed again. That is why JAved Akhtar thanked him when he received Lifetime to end the feud but nothing positve happened.

That is the reason none of Salman Khan's movie has Javed Akhtar as lyricist except Marigold which is an international film. Salman Khan and rest of the family members still have cold vibes towards Javed Akhtar for breaking up the partnership.

oh interesting i always thought both salim and javed broke off there partnership because each thought they could do aswell indiviually, yeah salim khan has vanished since the partnership ended.
