well if ekta feels kajol is overated that is her opinion. i mean everyone is entitled to one right? i personally think that kajol is a brilliant actress, one of the best that industry has seen but then so is rani..soo..its all opinions

Ekta is the one whos overrated .
kajol is one of the best actresses that bollywood has. Atleast when she acts it doesn't look like she's acting.....cause she is so natural and thats what makes a good actress.
Ekta has no right to say that infact she should be asked how many of her serials have original storyline.
All her serials are very very overrated and i dont understand how people can watch the same storyline over and over again..........

Kajol is OVER-RATED...She is nothing when she acts w/o SRK...not many people watch her films when she acts with other actors...

Amitabh too came in the spotlight when he acted with SRK in K3G....otherwise he was giving big time flops...

To be honest, Kajol is the most natural actress I had ever seen in bollywood....
And what Ekta says, it's her opinion, but that doesn't mean that she is right....

Who says that Kajol made only her biggest hits with SRK???? 😲, I agree that SRK, and Kajol's jodi is fantastic, and made alots of biggest hits together, but that doesn't mean that both couldn't make hits individually....

Kajol made alots of hits with some other stars than SRK, as well as SRK too....

Kajol got the best actress award this year for Fanna, and her co-star in this movie is not SRK, but Aamir, so I don't agree with the people who said that Kajol made her hits movies only with SRK....

when she is with srk, her role and as a movie is good. fanaa was the most crappy movie of 2007 even thought i loved the music, i was quite surprised that she did the role because her role didn't made any sense, she gave good performance but not the best. DDLJ and KKHH are kajol's most memorable movies and people love her with srk and the movies were all time blockbuster.

Kajol did many good roles, not only with SRK, she did a very good performance in ''Dushman'', and ''Gupt'', and she got awards for both the movies, and both movies had not SRK in it, and both were hits movies....

Kajol acted with Aamir Khan in Fanaa and she also won the best actress award this means that people love her no matter who she acts with cuz of her talent and her hits like Yeh Dillagi didn't have SRK in it but still she was appreciated...so i think that Kajol is great and even in K3G...how she played the role of a chandni chowk ki chulbuli and funny ladki was quite a challenge which only some actresses like kajol and preity can do😳 and even in Gupt which had flop stars like Bobby Deol and Manisha Koirala she was appreciated as a talented actress and she has shown a lot of diversity as well as she has played everything from negative kind of character of Gupt to her role in K3G and her tomboyishness of KKHH which was appreciated not becuz of SRK but because of Kajol's talent itself!! 😃

i guess u guys dont know what kajol has done bf..so stop commenting on her acting. Ekta has no mannerisms. She has a big mouth...Being a celebrity she does not know how to talk on a show about a celebrity....U guys say Kajol is hit just bcoz she acts with SRk..Dont u think Rani acts with SRK...think bf u write Okay....dont just form opinions...

That was b/c she acted opposite Aamir Khan...Thats why the film worked!...

If she was Opposite SRK in Fanaa, the movie would've become superhit over night...

So really...she isn't much w/o SRK...

Ok, so I really cannot believe that so many people have been saying this, that Kajol is nothing w/o SRK. If this was true, then why did she get an award for Fanaa?? I just thought that this comment was very untrue because as we all know, she has made many movies w/o SRK and has been lauded for them.

However, about the fact that Ekta called Kajol an overrated actress, I think she needs to look in the mirror before saying anything like that. Also, the question asked about "who is the better actress rani or kajol" cannot really be answered because they both acted during different time periods and cannot really be compared.

Even though I do not like Kajol's personality in real life, I still believe that she is one of THE BEST actresses Bollywood has ever had.
