Ditto , a fake accent sounds ridiculous and there are those "Top" actresses , who do that.. and only manage to come across , far more ridiculous and dumb than they actually are!!!

Tabu was quite precise and articulate in her answers and that is what mattered!

well, i'm a south-indian, and frankly..i dont find nething very wrong in Tabu's accent..
ya,my accent is different coz i hv lived in delhi..was born here..n Tabu lived in the south..
if sum1 lives in the UK,deir accent'll be different too...
isn't it more important to speak sum ggod,sensible stuff,rather than bother bout how u speak it?

Hey, guys... I don't think the person meant to offend "South Indians" in particular. She was talking about the accent in general, maybe it comes across as if she was talking about South Indians only.

it is obvious in the author's post that south indian's accent puts her off..and thrs nothing tht can be said in her favour.
i strongly believe wht many have already said...each country n each state of tht country has a diff accent..wht is more important is the heart of the person...pls do not degrade south indians next time...think twice b4 u say so...its shameful tht an indian has chosen to say so abt her country...whthr north or south...

I don't think the person who opened the post meant to offend tabu or south indians. nadz please choose right words when expressing. I watched the episode and i loved tabu and her accent.

Tabu isn't the only one in this industry with the accent, I can't even think of one bollywood actor that doesnt have one to some extent, but anyways thats not important, it's what she said that's important, and she sounded very polite and intelligent...nothin wrong with that.

Everyone has an accent. Tabu was a guest judge on Indian Idol 2 last year and I found nothing wrong in the way she spoke. Her comments were genuine and intelligent.
