Parvati remarriage on June 22
By: Shaheen Parkar
June 9, 2006
------------------------------------------------------------ --------------------

Killer kaun?
Saakshi Tanwar

Parvati bhabhi (Saakshi Tanwar) is all set to tie the knot again with the man she trusts the most now — Suyaash Mehra (Anoop Soni) on June 22.

As her bte noire, Chhaya (Rinku Karmarkar) squirms and sees red at the alliance, Parvati's agenda prior to the marriage is clear — to unearth Om's killer.

But before that, there are several startling revelations that will unfold in the Balaji daily Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii on Star Plus.

Parvati will finally realise that her late husband Om (Kiran Karmarkar) was not a victim of the Mumbai flood as everyone believes. She happens to overhear a conversation between SD (Rituraj) and Pallavi (Achint Kaur). She is shocked when she hears Pallavi and SD using words like Om and murder.

Says Kahaani's creative head, Sandiip Sikcand, "In the June 19 episode, Parvati realises who the killer is. The identity of the murderer will take the audience by complete shock. This episode will be a crossover episode of Kavyanjali and Kahaani. It will be Anjali's sangeet special episode with Eijaz Khan back in the show as a new character Soham. During this, the killer will be revealed."

Armed with the identity, Parvati is all set to marry Suyaash. "The wedding ceremony will be elaborately shot," adds Sikcand.

Who killed Om?

Parvati suspects the following to be behind Om's killing
SD (Rituraj)
He was the one who struck up a conversation with Pallavi and the reason of his death.

Pallavi (Achint Kaur)
The prime suspect. She refuses to spill out anything despite Parvati's persistence.

Sasha (Chetan Hansraj)
The usual suspect of the Agarwal clan. Was he at work yet again?
In true Balaji tradition, is there someone else? Someone extremely close to Parvati will shock her by revealing some startling revelations about her dear Om's last moments before he was felled.

Neha's interview-part-2

Part-1:http://www.india-forums.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=30278 9

So are u going to leave hindi serials for south movies?

No,I did'nt mean that.I'm just thinking about a break.Sometimes I may not even take a break after Kaisa ye pyar hai if such an exciting offer comes. But now my plan is to do some movies in south. But I may not say "bye" to hindi serials as the popularity I got through it was beyond my imagination. It was not an ordinary family serial. It was aimed at youth. They accepted it.Many people told that it is a beautiful film on small screen.Like in films,I could do cute song sequences.I had to do

How are south actors different from north actors?

They all are very nice.My co-stars like Nitin,Siva Balaji,Karthik,Siddarth are all youngsters,so they are my good friends.I enjoyed working with them.Jagapati Babu is a senior artist. He helped me a lot.In Dost,I could act with the national award winner Suhasini. In north also I have wonderful co-stars.Iqbal Khan is very famous there and our chemistry is received well.I am very close to my co-star Amit Tandon. We are very good friends. Now I am working with a wonderful actor called Hiten. He is one of the most well established actors of TV.His pretty wife is also there with us.But unfortunately I don't have any combination scene with her

What did you feel going to small screen from big screen?

Nothing much. But films are more easy.We get more leisure time. But serials make us tired.Serial means 'overtime work'.I went to Bombay to do a hindi project, because I was missing my place. And now small screen is popular like big screen.Hindi serials are popular all over the country,so doing a hindi serial is equal to doing a south movie

Being a north Indian did u feel uneasy while coming to south?

I am not a complete north Indian.I'm a marvadi who lives in mumbai.Language was the only problem while doing south movies. Many bollywood stars think that doing a south movie will harm our image. But I'm prowd to say that I've done good movies in south.Doing a hit movie in south is much better than doing a cheap flop movie in bollywood.South has been established well. They have good ideas.Bollywood takes stories from south. Most of the TV actresses like Anita,Kanchi,Aamna Sheriff ,Shama Sikandar,Shradda Nigam,Aarzoo have done south movies. Then why should I hesitate to do south movies?

How do you see your re-entry into telugu?

I am very much excited.I hope audience will accept me this time also

Eijaz -Kavita's Mauritian jhagda
By: Tushar Joshi
June 9, 2006

Loner: Eijaz Khan

The Kya Hoga Nimmo Ka team has returned from Mauritius. Apart from the usual cast of Sanjit Bedi, Eijaz Khan and Sanjeeda, the show had a new entrant — Kavita Kaushik who plays Natassha.

There were reports that the entire unit had fun, frolicked on the beaches, and even indulged in late-night parties. However sources from the show say that the shoot was marred by EIjaz and Kavita's inability to break the ice between each other.

An actor close to EIjaz reevals, "Yes they did have issues opening up to each other. There was visible discomfort between the two during many scenes."

Apparently, Eijaz enjoyed spending time on his own, in stead of making her comfortable, "He doesn't like to mingle with some one he isn't comfortable with." That sent the wrong vibe to his co-star who decided he was playing uppity.

Clubbing with guys

Eijaz who is also set to return to Kavyanjali refused to throw any light on the matter. However on constant questioning, he said, "Why would I have issues with some one I really don't know? I hung out most of the time with the guys — Sanjit (Bedi) and Shabbir (Ahluwalia). We had a blast at the clubs." But didn't he and Kavita share icy vibes? "I don't want to comment on this."

Kavita Kaushik

Kavita's tan

Kavita, too, wasn't forthcoming on her tiff with Khan. "I don't know him that well, but yes, I have met him once at a party. We haven't worked together, but that shouldn't lead to us having any troubles."

Kaushik added that Mauritius was all about being in the water and getting tanned. "I have a total bronze look on the show. Even though I am scared of water creatures, I was inside the ocean for most of the time."

One-track mind

Coming back to Eijaz, she said, "I really don't care about someone as long as the person doesn't say or do something wrong to me. My track in Nimmo is very interesting and I wouldn't want to let anyone else distract me from it."

Even though Eijaz is strictly off her friends list, the actress has found a new friend in Sanjeeda. "She is a darling, we both were stuck to each other throughout the shoot. I treat her more like my younger sister. I was most of the time with her, so I really didn't see where Eijaz was."

Anita becomes a water baby
By: Tushar Joshi
June 12, 2006

Who's afraid of the water? Anita

Even though she's dead scared of the water, Anita (Anjali from Kavyanjali) tried overcoming her fear at her recent trip to Mauritius with the cast of Kya Hoga Nimmo Ka.

"I am really scared of the water. I prefer sitting on dry land and watch others having fun."

Recalling an incident that got her all worked up, she says, "We had gone right in the middle of the ocean to swim with some dolphins.

In fact, the guys were really excited and jumped in the started following the dolphins and having fun with them. I, on the other hand, was really scared about being right in the middle of the ocean with water all around me."

Went parasailing

However, over a period of time, Anita mustered enough courage to go parasailing and sit in a water tube. "My favourite moment was being in the tube driven around the ocean. It felt safe and relaxing."

Did she enjoy the local cuisine on the island? "Not really. I am a vegetarian, so I stuck to the unit food that was being served."
All in a day's catch: Eijaz Khan and Sanjit Bedi
Life's a beach: Shabbir Ahluwalia
Yeh 'arm' ka mamlaa hai: Anita and Shabbir

Who's Iqbal's favourite co-star?

Though Iqbal Khan and Neha Bamb were not best of friends when they started shooting for Kaisa Yeh Pyaar Hai, things have improved, say unit members. Iqbal says, "We aren't overtly friendly, but we get along better now." Of course, the fact that Iqbal and Neha hardly have any scenes together could be the reason why things are peaceful. As for his other co-star Anita Hasnandani, Iqbal says, "Anita and I knew each other before we began shooting for Kkavyanjali. In fact, when I joined the unit she was the only person I knew. I am very comfortable working with her." So, who's his favourite co-star? "I will get into trouble if I answer that," laughs Iqbal.

Do soap stars watch their own shows?

Ever wondered whether TV soap stars ever watch their own shows? Or, while they choose to be part of saas-bahu dramas, they like the serials themselves?

We put these questions to Anita Hasnandani, earlier known as Natasha, who plays the lead in Ekta Kapoor?s Kkavyanjali. When asked about the top three TV shows she would hate to miss, this is what Anita picked:

Text: Srabanti Chakrabarti

Kasamh Se

This is truly different from the other Balaji serials currently on air. The storyline is so unique that it leaves a mark. It's about three sisters who have been brought up together, how they fall in love, how their lives are shattered and how they strike back -- it is wonderful and inspiring. The script, performances and handling are all above average.

Kasauti Zindagi Kay

Apart from the legendary Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, few other serials have been running for so long while doing so well consistently.

One nice thing about Kasauti... is that all characters in the serial are very strong. Be it the protagonists or antagonists, every character stands on firm ground. I suppose that's why it does well even after so many years.

Orange County

This American soap is a typical mushy teenage love story. I believe nothing can match the universal appeal that love stories have for the youth. Anyone from a younger generation will like this serial, the presentation is so unique. It has some very good music as well.

Celeb speak

The good old days

Kamiya Mohan Jani, chembur

Known as Kavyanjali's Kavya and Kya Hoga Nimmo Ka's Kunal Sehgal, Eijaz Khan, a well-known face in the television industry reminisces the days he spent in Chembur
Born in Hyderabad and brought up in Mumbai, this talented actor spent his childhood in Chembur.

"I had never planned anything for myself," admits a gratified Eijaz. He started off his career with small modeling assignments and today he is the face of one of the most famous production houses in the city.
While schooling from Our Lady of Perpetual Succour High School, Eijaz used to stay at Vijay Vihar Society. Khan has done his schooling from Our Lady of Perpetual Succour High School in Chembur and then went on to do a course in Civil Engineering before taking to acting. When questioned why he choose acting as a profession, Khan said that he did the course, as his father wanted him to do so. Born on August 28, 1975, Eijaz has seen Chembur developing along with his age and realises that today Chembur has become a lot more commercial than before.

"I hardly get to see those Anglo- Indian bungalows anymore. All I get to see now are the commercial banks and the showrooms." He catches up with his friends and relatives here every fortnight or once a month when he packs up early.

Sheepishly, Eijaz states that he had no girlfriends in school. "I was too shy to approach any girl," he avers and adds, "I remember doing all sorts of stunts on my BMX bicycle like free stands and riding on rough tracks at B.A.R.C." Overcome with nostalgia, Eijaz remembers the good old days when he used to play soccer and basketball with his friends. When asked if he would like to come back to his childhood abode, he says, "I would love to. But it would get inconvenient for me to commute to my studio every day from Chembur." The actor currently stays at Marol, which is relatively close to his workplace.

Right now his only show on air is 'Kya Hoga Nimmo Ka' and his disappearance from 'Kavyanjali' has really disappointed many viewers. "You will not see me in the show for now," he informs. There are also rumours of him not getting along with his new co-star Sangeeda, who plays Nimmo in KHNK. "My equation with Anita Hassandani (Anjali of Kavyanjali) is the best till date," he concludes diplomatically.

CG Plus wishes this former Chembur resident the very best for the future!

'Saif Ali Khan's former wife, Amrita Singh . . . has rubbished rumors that she is having an affair with a co-star on her TV show 'Kavyanjali' . . . Amrita Singh has rubbished rumors that she is having an affair w/ Pradeep Kharab (i think that's the former shlock), her Kavyanjali co-star. 'Why would I need anyone in my life? I go to bed with a nice smile!' Amrita will do films now only if she does not need outdoor locations that will need her kids to miss school.'

Four of Ektaa Kapoor's popular shows - Kavyanjali, Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii, Kasautii Zindagi Kay and Kahiin To Hoga will merge into a one-hour special episode on June 19.

The lead stars of all the shows will be attending Anjali's (Anita Hasanandani) sangeet ceremony in Kavyanjali.
