You have recently won the National Award, beating Shah Rukh Khan's film for the same...
It's not about Shah Rukh and Saif. It's more about the reigning King👏 and possible challengers Saif u can keep trying but u will never become a srk challenger. I am not competing with anyone. It's a hype that there is a contender for SRK's crown.SRK lives at the top spot and he's not moving out anytime soon. SRK is far more superior and he has proved a lot more👏. But I do think I am very good also. I know that are certain things I can do that actually nobody else can do.like what? ...divorce ur wife for an italian woman?
Cool and confident. Good days ahead then?
Well, I do have a style that's very distinctive and I feel that urban romantic comedy is my home turf. I am not saying I am the best, but I have a unique quality. I just want to move ahead. It's just my job and me with some good days and some bad ones chipped in. I want to concentrate on future projects.
And what would that be?
I would like to sign some good films, something that does not bore the audiences and me. Probably a two-hero action thriller. I am looking forward to my releases, Yagna and Salaam Namaste. Yagna with its Shakespearean set-up was a totally different experience. Salaam Namaste, a hip romantic comedy, is my kind of film. It's a very fashionable American kind of film on livein relationships.
Any sense of identification there?
I see eye to eye with Salaam Namaste's social comment. Life is serious business. It can also be about why one should not get married or be careful to not have kids at the wrong time. This film projects a real morality that one must be true to oneself and also to a woman that you are not ready to share a commitment with. It's about time films stop reflecting fake moralities with hero's offering to marry the heroine and be a father to some other man's child.
Talking about marriage, do you feel you deserted Amrita and your kids?
The fact is that both of us have moved on. It has been a difficult time for both of us. I said some silly things that I regret. However, I still maintain it's our private affair. We had our share of problems, but Amrita has done a lot for me and I respect her for that. Actually, we just met a couple of days ago. We are good friends today. i'm glad ur good friends..good amrita needs some friends...coz all her friends have probably run away after watching her in kavyanjali
And your girlfriend Rosa...?
This is the last time I talk about my personal life. It's stupid. I don't want to make best friends out of twenty million people I don't know by talking about my personal life. If you are nice to your girlfriend, people say you are a chamcha, if you are mean to her, they call you a bas***d. It's quite retarded to talk to the world about what keeps us together.
Views on marriage...
I don't think all relationships should end in a marriage. A failed relationship is perhaps better than a destructive marriage. I would not term my marriage a mistake, but I don't feel the need to rush into anything.
What is your take on hunting?
How does my personal opinion matter? The laws of our country say shooting is illegal.
sorry about my comments...but i get crazy when actors with only one or 2 hits start comparing them to the srk!😡😳
