Kishwer fasted for Hiiten on Karva Chauth

Now, Hiiten plans to do the same for her someday

Hiiten Paintal's very touched by girlfriend Kishwer Merchant's gesture. "She fasted on Karva Chauth for me. That was really sweet," he smiles. So, did he fast too? "No, I didn't. Not because I couldn't, but I didn't want the focus to get divided. I wanted the focus to be on her and what she was doing. I'll fast for her another day," he says. The couple has been dating for the past two years. Wedding bells, he says, will be next year.
On the career front, Hiiten's hoping to balance TV and films. Apart from serials, he's completed a thriller film Rraath. But, the struggle continues, he says.
"Everyone's going through a struggle. Some to get work, some to sustain what you've already achieved and some to live up to expectations. If I'm struggling, so are Abhishek Bachchan or Hrithik Roshan. Nobody can say he's fine and there's no struggle in his life," he emphasises.
But for him, did being actor Paintal's son help? "Not really. Maybe to a small extent because people talk to you well when you meet them the first time. They treat you with respect."
