Shlok's dad ???

Could someone please tell me who is Shlok's dad and why Nitya had to give him away to the other lady, Jay' mom (don't know her name)

Shlok is the son of Nitya and Mayank Nanda. Kkavya is Nitya's step son born out of Mayank Nanda's extra marital affair. Mayank decided to give the baby his name and brought Kkavya home, when Shlok was born to Nitya at the same time Vashika Shlok's foster mum also delivered a still born baby and was inconsolable hence; Mayank decided to give Shlok to Vanshika, since they have Kkavya to look after. Moreover Mayank thought Shlok would always be in front of their eyes, with them in the same house. Few years later Jai was born to Vanshika.
