| If you thought the Aftab-Natassa-Dipannita starrer Koi Aap Sa is yet another one of those college romance flicks with a triangular love story angle, think again. The movie has much more to offer. This Balaji Tele-film production takes a progressive look on friendship and unwed motherhood. It's an honest take on friendship and explores the dynamics of platonic relationship between Aftab and his best friend Natassha, who accepts the challenge of portraying an unwed mother. And unlike other predictable films, it's not Aftab's child over here. There is a distinct change in taste for films from the Bollywood stable as exemplified by the recently released Salaam Namaste, which started the trend and explored 'Live-in' relationship. The audience today are accepting bold and novel theme and are applauding films that venture into unexplored territory. Koi Aap Sa does not stick to clich and is progressive in terms of subject matter. The story is conceived by Ekta Kapoor herself. |
