DOTW - Marriage or Career ???

Hi everyone,

Like many of you here, I am a fan of Kituu too. I luv watching this show. Kittu is one of my favourite characters but here while watching Kittu, I had some thoughts which I would like to share with you.....

What is more important for a middle-class girl like Kittuu - Marriage or Career ???

I know most of you will say career but then comes the next question......

Why should Kittu leave such a nice person like Rohan for her work ?? He loves her so much and one day she has to marry..... So, if today she is finding the right life partner, why should not she marry and live her life happily ???

well, this is confusing 😕 and I want all of you to please advise your views on this.........

well persoanlly i think she can balance the two if she tried, and was not so stubborn on her principls and ideals, she could work and at the same time find time for rohan as well, her problem is she takes things too far, its true that rohan gets annoying sometimes and unreasonable, but with this whole accident issue...i mean even the 'victims' family dont want kittu to help anymore, she should just back off rather then spend all her time thinking of what is right and wrong. not to mention, the way she mentioned 'rohan's car' made it out to look as if he was directly involved, i think she should also relaise that whoever she will marry wether they be rich or poor would not want their name plastered all over the tv, in a negative light, and if she intends on marrying him, it will soon be her name and family too...then what? if something bad happens then will she still want to advertise to the world, it would be like putting up you dirty laundry for the world to see...i think rohan is to blame too and should be more understanding, he jumps to conclusion very quickly, and needs to think things over before he speaks...in this sense i thnk they were both in the wrong, but the thing is they both are stubborn and strong headed people, who dont want to lose......i guess they gotta understanding, in marriage you gotta give and take...and cannot be so stubborn or always stick to all your principals...sometimes you gotta budge...

Even I feel that Kituu is very stubborn sometimes. It is good to lead ur life on principles but one needs to balance. As for Rohan, he is till not making his own decisions and believes in whatever he is told

I personally will not say career nor will i say Marriage . I'll say its possible to balance both .
Here Kittu needs to ease off a little and Rohan needs to have a better attitude !!

At this point, I'd say career. Kituu is determined to become a journalist. On marriage, it doesn't seem like either Kituu or Rohan are ready to adjust. Rohan doesn't understand the importance of NNN in Kituu's life at this point. Honestly, he needs to stop listening to his mother all the time. I hated how he asked Kituu to lie about her profession and family background before the New Year's Eve party.

Kituu-Rohan need to take their relationship slowly. I'm not convinced they love each just yet, but I am convinced that Kituu wants to make a career for herself. I think both marriage & career are important to Kituu but at this point, I think she should focus on her career.

I agree with sonynyu. It should be career at this point of time. Kittu has just started her career at NNN and she can grow fater in her profession if she does not have the additional responsibilities of a marriage. If Rohan cannot understand her problems right now, he would be worse after marriage. But I would say that she should give up being extra idealistic. After Kiitu gets married, she will definitely have to balance her career and marriage.I have seen that no matter how much we talk about sharing the responsibilities of the household equally, it is the wife who has to sacrifice her career to some extent and shoulder much more responsibilities than the husband. So I would say that Kittu should concentrate on her career right now. Marriage can wait.

if kituu really has to decide then i think it should be career. whats the use to select marriage when rohan can't defend her, does what his mother says.

According to me the time is changing no one respects u if u are not an educated person. What Kituu is doing I think is pretty good because sorry but I am not a big Rohan fan, he wants to control Kituu all the time so I would say career and then marriage.

looking at Kituu and Rohan, its obvious that their relationship is headed south. so my advice is- separate and concentrate on up careers. five years down the line when probably Kits will be a hot shot journalist interviewing an equally hot shot and hopefully mature Rohan, they can rekindle their love story.

i think kittus mother is also partially to blame in all this as all she can think about is getting kittu married...she is more on that then her career, and i gues if kittu want to stay in her house shes gonna be listing to her mtoehr as well then...however as kittus dad thinks perhaps rohan and his family are not well suited for her...
