Hmmmmmm...
I've been saying time and again that ever since the day KS's truth was revealed to Arohi, I have no capacity to formulate predictions for future episodes, and so whatever is shown to be I will readily accept.
So point being, I've accepted ruling out running away and I feel like cheering Arjun on in his endeavours. And I think the creatives have been especially successful in getting my support, because being young myself, never having falling in love, I don't know if 'love' can compel people to forget all for one person. So, as long as it's done well...i'm fine with them running away or not running away.
Considering Arjun and Arohi's present situation:
Reasons to run away:
1) HP's adamant nature- unwilling to trust AP and DK
2) Arjuhi's love for each other - love that has officially passed the test of time and has come out stronger
3) Arjuhi being unable to survive without each other
4) Arohi's fear - potential marriage to KS....Arjun's fear - Arohi's death if she marries another
Reasons to not run away:
1) Respect and love for HP - person who brought up and Arohi and was her world until Jan 19, 2009😆
2) Tarnishing family's respect in society
3) Fear of never re-gaining HP's affection...his approval
Every reason to not run away is associated with HP the father, who has toiled to raise his daughters, always had faith in his daughter, and given her immense respect and freedom. If we go with Aditi's arguments, sure she doesn't 'owe' anything to HP because it was his duty to raise her. But giving her respect, freedom, love wasn't his duty exactly. Should she not respect him for all that, and not run away?
Arohi did take a stand today, but her stand was quickly trivialized by Arjun calling it her "junoon." He is right...but Arohi's just in a sorry state right now. When Arohi went and sat down on the stairs and realized that her dad wouldn't be able to do her Kanyadaan...I was in tears...All her dreams for her wedding not actualizing, not having the love she always had, but if she doesn't do this then losing the new love she can't live without.
Anyways, Arjun vocalized all the concerns Arohi should have considered in her mind....he acted as her inner voice showing her reason...but had that respect, love, consideration for Baba not been there...Arjun's efforts would've been useless. So, like Sanju said, they complement each other very well. Arjun completely understands that she loves her father, but her "obsession" for him is temporarily blocking that love/respect for her father from coming into perspective. Their relationship is truly beautiful.
I think the last comment by the registrar-uncleji really hit Arohi. I don't think anyone's ever raised their finger towards her. She's always been Miss Perfect. And now to hear someone think of her so lowly must have really got her reasoning again.
So, I really enjoyed the way Arjun guided Arohi and allowed her to see beyond her "junoon." It highlighted just how beautiful their relationship is and very nicely ruled out running away as a possible solution.
Okay I want to write more...but I can't even recall what i've written here...my neurones are dying.😭😆
Ohhhhh....THANK GOD THAT KARAN's BEARD WAS BACK NEAR THE END....I almost had a heart attack when I saw him clean-shaven after he changed! NEVER AGAIN PLEASE....not as long as he's Arjun Punj!😳
