Arjun's averted eyes spoke VOLUMES about the extent of his resolve to Hate Arohi...it was so clearly expressed in his body language that his Objective, or as Anu says, Aim of the day, would have been chucked out of the window if he turned to look at her all dressed up for him...but did you notice the internal struggle portrayed in his eyes?? Or the hint of longing that was displaying itself time & again in them?? But his last cutting reply to Arohi was spot on..."Tumhati Badi Ma kahan hai MISS Arohi??"....*phew*
And the shock felt by Arohi was very well acted by Kritika...*well done*
--Oh, i was so moved by his expression when Aro was talking abt how she waited whole day for this occasion.. it was like he too wanted 2 say.. mujhe bhi kabse intezaar tha... just for a second but he conveyed it all the love.. desire.. the pain n was again back all H&M.... .. n he had 2 really try very hard 2 keep himself melting away listening to Aro..brilliant acting Karan👏... n Kritika complemented him well..👏
cuz Salil ONLY left because he was to shocked, NOT because it matters to him...but what they're not realizing is that once the gravity of the situation hits him, he's gonna make ammendments, and how!!!

What I did like about the insults hurled at Arohi, wait...did I say LIKE?? I meant FOUND BEARABLE......*sorry*...yeah, so where was I??? Oh yes, what I found bearable was that it thankfully was not OTT in the drama quotient...sure Arjun said some mean stuff..but he wasn't THAT outta line...to tell you the truth, I was expecting more fireworks...guess am too used to the other BT shows....so this show IS actually different...hmm...
The confrontation was EXACTLY as I had expected it to be....the breaking point was when their Dads got involved...but at least Arohi wasn't dis-respectfull about DK, but then she's not the one with the MU is she...and I really like how she reacted....she didn't break down, or start crying like a weepy dame; she didn't ask him, "Why are you doing this to us??" ,she stood her ground and faced Arjun with aplomb..Atta Girl!!!
--it's Aro characteristic which i like the most... her resoluteness... she was shocked, baffled, confused hurt but she stood resolute defending her family..but out of luv she cudnt hurl those insults back to Arjun which wud have made things worse... or break down which wud have let Arjun completely take over...again a gud scene..n gud performance by both Karan n Kritika
The scene when Purvi walks away from the Mandap was the one that moved me today...it was AWESOMELY shot...that fraction of a second where she stops in front of Salil, and the way he looks at her gave me gooseflesh...*gulp* And I L.O.V.E.D. the part where she walked in front of Arjun, and the way he watched her leave...it was so perfectly captured, Arjun is all H&M and his I-don't-give-a-damn look is bang on, but you can tell the Guy's feeling sorry for her somewhere DEEP down, the flipside being that he is blinded by his Hatred towards the One Person he gave the authority to affect him, to hurt him...*whao*
---Yeah, well said Akriti.. Karan was bang on with that expression.. also when HP fainted.. he was really concerned.. his inherent kindness surfaced eventhough just for a second... Oh, Arjun u r such an adorable person..
But the part where the Girls are crying over their unrequited Love(s) could've been handled better, at least for Arohi...even though Arjun is wounded and angry, his pain and saddness almost reaches across the screen and touches me, and I would really like the same to happen when Arohi cries for him...am not saying she has to be all Meena-Kumari about it, but Arjun's turmoil is so obvious, its almost solid, but Arohi's failed to move me. She should've been Devastated....Purvi's washing-away-her-tears-in-the-rain act was more heart-rendering to watch, and she didn't even LOVE Salil.....maybe the Finality of the matter hasn't struck Arohi yet......
---its bcoz she was hurt but not devastated bcoz her trust on Arjun was not completely broken.. she knew there was some misunderstanding... n the fact that she didnt threw away that dress showed that it was not all over 4 her.. she was definitely very hurt n angry on Arjun but at the same time determined not 2 accept wat was done wrong with her family... the pain, anger, determination all was well apparent on her face..gud acting by Kritika.. it enhances her stronger personality...
The pre-cap looks interesting, maybe Purvi will confess her Love for Salil...and maybe he will drag her to a Mandir to marry her...but like you said, that'll just make the Saas-Bahu angle plausible in the story...lets wait and watch....
--well, it looks like salil is bent on 2 find out the truth 4rm Purvi..
P.S. On a lighter note, did Salil go home without shoes then, cuz usne apne joote to Sur & Antara ko de diye the??? Sorry for this really lame attempt at being funny, I'll stop now....
