Synopsis: š²HP: "Purvi mere bete ki bahoo hai"š² well atleast the creatives made sure we could laugh even during this traumatic episode!
Today's episode had all that we expected....BT has kept the unexpected for Monday but thankfully did show us a precap over which we can relax for the weekend!
So the marriage is broken (for the while)....Arjun said those ugly words which I had dreaded he would say...HP fell down...and the show left us with broken hearts to see both Arjun and Arohi shattered in their own worlds! The irony of the situation is that both poor souls are not at fault...Arjun loves her... and there is not a bigger truth than that in the KMH world...for him he is the one who has suffered the most...its his heart which has been left scarred for life...On the other Arohi is also oblivious of why Arjun did this...she might consider herself cheated by him...as a fling that he had and now he is over and done with it...and at the same time both of them are also unable to accept what has happened...all this is beautifully captured...courtesy a great act by both of them towards the end of the episode!
mar ke bhi khatm hota nahin yeh safarš
I could not stop but remember when Arjun said: "is dunia main sub se khubsoorat ankhain tumharee hain...main in main ansoo nahin dekh sakta" But now she has to wipe the tears which are there cuz of Arjun, all by herself...It does not mean Arjun is wrong...its just that this relationship is soo vulnerable...it takes time to fall in love but it takes a single moment to loose the love of your life...
Arohi: The Ignorant:
Arjun was perfect at showing that uneasiness...controlling his emotions...making an effort not to even pass a glance at her...afraid he might drift away from the objective he has in his mind...the pain and the anger flashing on his face at every comment Arohi made...and finally when the need is turns and in his H&M style gives her the first blow...it was a clever dialogue...he made his point there..."Tumharee badi maa nazar nahin aa rahi....Miss. Arohi"...such a precise way of saying it all...Miss.Arohi was enough to indicate that its all over...stop dreaming! and by what Arjun thinks (that Arohi is a part of Badi Maa's plan) the first half of the sentence was enough to let her know that I am aware of your secret so stop pretending! gets the dialogue of the day from me! Though I found her saying "Miss.Arohi yeh Sir ko achanak kia hoa" quite funny...I wanted to punch her right there and say "jo tumhain aik maheene sai hoa hoa hai"
Arjun: The Brainwashed Tiger
He lept at the Prasad Family...Made sure he does not leave a single one out...Composed and to the point he says it all one by one! The adults all happy that their "tash ka pata" is playing the planned chaal with finesse! " kia tu is ki zindagi main aane waala pehla admi hai ya doosra pati" Arjun was spot on...but than the aim was in the wrong direction...
The Arjun-Arohi Encounter:
Both of them cannot listen to anything against their respective Dads...and at this point both of them were doing nothing but this! Arjun silences her with his stance on all of them being "dhoke baaz"...he emphasized on her seperately..."tumhara saara khandan dhoke baaz hai" (cuz of Salil-Purvi issue) "aur tum bhi" (cuz of Badi Maa issue)...All through Arjun's fight with his inner self...the good in him was very well captured...as he looks at Purvi leaving the Mandap...as he stays there a little longer when HP fells...as he gets confused when HP says that he did tell the adults about this...Arjun's trauma was there...the pain, the agony, the helplessness was all there...he was being manipulated (by DK) and it showed...
Salil and Purvi: The Broken Hearts
Both did well on their parts....for Salil it was big enough a revelation to take a stand right there...he was never a strong headed man...he had to leave at that point but I am glad he thought and took a decision of going back later...I expected this from him...Pooja took leaps as an actress in this scene...the whole walk from the hall to outside...the embarrassment and the pain yet again showed...I had to wipe my eyes more than once today!
Moment of the Day: The last scene where Arjun looks at the ring was just fabulous....one of the best (along with his scream one) emotional scenes to have churned out of kMH factory...The rolled up sleeves and no-sweater were a welcome change! He does remember his promise but than his MU leaves him with no other option! Moreover Arjun keeps on indicating he is not interested in Nutt-asha and that gives me more hope about no third angle being in this show....which is a reason good enough for me to stick to it!
Lets see what happens on Monday...I would not mind seeing a K3G style Salil-Purvi wedding! This gives ample scope to bring in the "Saas Bahu" saga into the show though!
Creatives showing they are not in ML
1. Arohi reminds Arjun he has not changed
2. Dhondz absence has been justified...at the cost of making him married! Lol
3. The box did have a ring...a big diamond i must say!
4. Arohi had called him during the day but Arjun did not respond!
5. HP calls Paddy, Padma Ji thankfully...PaddyJi in this situation would have been a disaster!
Your comments!

P.S: Yesterday there was another creative sitting at the Adda! where DK became Daku Daddy, Savita became Mother India...Salil and Arjun became toddlers....On the other hand we were famous enough to be a part of the funfilled Miami beeches...Ria's Adda beautifully written by none other than Karishma...who is such a sweetheart that did not forget us even when she is on a dream vacation! We love you Karishma! Anjana was defending DD (as I would like to call him now) and we also witnessed some new names around....Aisha with her 8 commandments is welcome on board! Its weekend and what i am anticipating the most is Anjana;s "Ek Sweater ki Kahani" however...as she aptly pointed out...its not the sweater which bothers if you look at the trouser which has been there since the elevator scene! thanks to the rain scene there was a free laundry done!
Down the Memory Lane with Ria (Weekend's Special)
I just thought we can relive some KMH memories togethor on weekends...and whatelse to start off with...I still consider this sequence to be my most favourite ones....It inspired me to start writing for KMH...would always be special!
