a HILARIOUS episode ..Arjun-Arohi have *officially* become a couple today, thanks to Jaspreet! 😉😃
Update
Salil comes up behind Arjun and sees him holding the perfume bottle. He questions him about it, to which Arjun replies that it's empty!😆 Salil is amused and comments on Arjun's recent "odd" behaviour - at the engagement he was staring at open windows, today its empty perfume-bottles! He asks Arjun to rejoin him and the girls.
Salil, Poorvi and Arohi go in, with Arjun following behind. He stops in his tracks on hearing his mom call out for him - it's a flashback of him at school, forgetting his lunchbox as usual.😳 He then recollects another moment, where he was being scolded by his mom for appearing dishevelled, and on further inspection her noticing him holding a painting of them two - his gift for mother's day.
Arjun returns to the present - and heads inside to join the others. As he gets himself a drink, Arohi watches him standing alone (whilst Salil is busy greeting old friends); and eventually decides to accompany him. She asks Arjun whether he and Salil were in the same class. He explains they were, but only until 9th grade. She then asks about his other friends - he explains that he has only 2 friends - Salil and his dad.
Arohi continues to interrogate him - asking why no other - he explains that he doesn't believe in friendship - Arohi asks if it's becos he is scared of them like cockraoches. Arjun gets annoyed, and tells her that he simply has an allergy to both cockroaches and humans! He likes being alone. As he moves away, Arohi follows him 😆 - stating that being on your own for too long can lead to one being *alone*. This frustrates him and he tells her just go.
At that moment he is engulfed in a BIG bear-hug by an old friend from 4th grade called Jaspreet. He refers to Arjun as "Punji" which leaves Arohi highly amused! 😆 Arjun shouts at her. Jaspreet mistakes Arohi as Arjun's better half - they try to correct him but he heads off to make an announcement. Jaspreet declares that his two bachelor friends are about to get married - Salil and Poorvi; and Arjun and Arohi!😉😃😛 Salil and Poorvi look concerned.
The doorbell rings - Sur goes to answer, and find Badi-Ma there. As they come in, Sur explains that Antra has gone to Chandigarh for a competition, whilst Arohi and Poorvi have gone with Salil to his reunion party. Hari Prasad greets Badi-Ma. They begin to talk about her not attending Poorvi's engagement; and Badi-Ma relays Arjun's backlash on their recent encounter. Hari explains that he too was worried, esp as Arohi works in Arjun's office. Badi-Ma is surprised - she explains that Arohi occasionally talks of her boss to her, but has never mentioned his name.
Hari continus to tell her that he hates/distrusts women, which bothers Arohi - Badi-Ma nods in agreement - Hari tells her that he wishes she tells Arjun (at least once) the extent of her love for him. After all, if she can dote on her friends children, how much love must she have for her own one. Badi-Ma again nods, and then asks Hari to not tell the girls of her past - he agrees.
Arohi and Arjun argue over the announcement and their individual reputations being at stake, when Poorvi and Salil rush towards them, asking about the announcement. Arjun and Arohi explain of the "sardar's" misunderstanding - Arjun gets worked-up, Salil calms him down, but before he can speak with Jaspreet - the announcement continues for all couples to dance together, esp the two couples he just mentioned! 😆😃😉
Arohi and Arjun glare at each other, whilst Salil turns towards Poorvi, and requests her for a dance. They begin dancing. Arohi watches them, whilst Arjun stands feeling awkward. Arohi looks towards Arjun, who simply refuses to dance with her. She is initially confused but then retaliates - they begin bickering. Arjun declares that no guy would dance with her ...Arohi is livid!
At that very moment, a guy, Vikrant Khanna, comes and stands between Arjun and Arohi. He introduces himself to Arohi and requests her to dance with him. Arjun looks uncomfortable, and Arohi agrees. She asks Vikrant to head to the dance floor and she'll follow. She turns towards Arjun, taunting him.😉😛 He on the other hand tries to warn her about Vikrant; but Arohi asks who he is to her - if nothing, then he should keep his advice to himself!
Arohi begins dancing with Vikrant - she explains to him that she doesn't usually dance, but has only agreed to do so, so as to teach someone a lesson. Arjun begins to get annoyed, and tries to find solace in his drink!
Vikrant tells Arohi that he needs to make a call, but his phone is in the car. Arohi offers him her own mobile to use, but he tells her that he will have to take it outside; and so suggests that she comes outside with him, and once he's made the call he will leave, while she can return to the party. Hesitantly, Arohi agrees.
Outside there is no reception. Arohi begins to leave, but Vikrant stops her. They struggle, when Arjun appears. Arohi moves away from Vikrant; and Vikrant warns Arjun to not intervene. Arjun on the other hand, asks him about his popularity and string of *famous*-girlfriends; and how this one could be in any way comparable! Vikrant falls for it, and leave Arjun with his contact card, to catch-up some time soon. Arohi fumes at Arjun - that there was no need for such tactics, he could have easily punched him. Arjun reminds her that he is not her husband, boyfriend, or even friend.
Jaspreet appears and Arjun and Arohi begin to argue once again. Another guy also appears and asks as to what Jaspreet has just gone and done - he's created a "couple"! Jaspreet however is confused, as they are in fact "bickering" like a couple, so how can they say they are not?! 😉😃😆
PRECAP - Arohi relays her "saddhu" boss's antics to Badi-Ma; who listens intently.
