thank you so so much guys. I myself was overwhelmed writing arohi's part because it happened in real life. I just changed it to american. or else the girl went through all that, her husband was not ready to leave the lover when she told him chose any one. the seeing love in their eyes part is again fictional. I am sure the girl would not have met the other girl in real life but she did go through a painful year or two before deciding to give up and get divorce. and it happened abt 10 12 yrs ago, during that time for middle class family divorce was rare. It took lot of courage from her.

@appu - real reason kuch aur hai, but here I am going to say he had an accident and lost the strength in his left leg and it crippled him.

@karankittu4eva - Pathjad means autumn usually reffered as dry season where trees loose all the greenary , Saawan is rainy season usually symbolised as love season by many poets. Itseems even the great poet Kalidasa in his work 'Meghadoot' writes saawan as a season of Love.

Actually divorces are still very hard on Middle class women, especially in the South ... Even in metros like Chennai, divorced women are seen lowly, but the best thing is women are becoming strong and are fighting harder against the odds...just thought i should say that...

exactly varshu, I am so happy women are getting stronger. In last 5 years i heard so many cases of divorces, and in every case I was so happy that the girl had guts to go against the norm. best part is they are finding better partners after that. One girl from my place , her inlaws and hubby were so insensitive, she got fed up and listed all the points that were botherring her and her parents supported she got divorced , it was tough since the boy's side were not willing. and I heard she got remarried and she is so happy now. It shows it is not necessary to endure a life without love or affection forever. things are changing to the brighter side.

appu he has to drag the other leg by keeping all weight on right leg and that gives the limp when the weight is shifted to both legs.

You caught all the right points where I was overwhelmed myself to write. The limp he was trying to hide while greeting her, lest she sees it, or her seeing love in his eyes, her past, his reaction, everything left me with ajeeb sa feeling after I wrote. only arjuhi can do this to time. this is the kind of story that touches one's heart!

arohi must have been to hell realizing her husband didn't love her!

but what she hadn't realized till now is that the girl she believes to have arjun's love is her!

but i know arjun himself would never tell her that! he will think he would sound like an opportunist! but arohi can realize it! if she saw love in his eyes then she can surely realize it's for her!

you said it was based on a true story? hope the protagonists of the real life found each other and are living happily together! but you know a funny but sad thing i came to know? people who have dreams like this always get it very late or sometimes never! you know their dream of living a life with someone who loves them unconditionally! but the interesting thing is that those who never ask for such things get abundance of it! and they are always running away from such love and care! strange naa our world?
