Chapter 9,
Why am i doing this for her. She's nobody to me, but i still have that unknown emotion inside me that connects me to her. Everything she's said, I've done, when nobody can tell me what to do. And tonight, their will be hundreds of people seeing us together and so many talks will be happening around us. But why don't i seem to care anymore? I'm not afraid anymore of what people will say about us. From today, i will look after her, protect her, stop people from harming her, and within this one month, i will act like her boyfriend. I have this one month to improve everything, get all the gossip away from the public, and i will live my life in piece. One month, just one month...
As Arjun arrived outside Arohi's house gates, he got out of his car and waited for Arohi to come. It was already 6:30pm and she still wasn't ready. "Typical girls, always taking hours in getting ready" he mumbled to himself. But then, he saw a little glimpse of a sharp figure in white walk towards him. Straightening himself up to get a better view, he stopped for a second and gasped. "Oh..my..god!" Slowly tying to look normal, Arjun was gob smacked at the beauty that was stood right opposite his two brown eyes. "Hey Arjun, sorry i'm sort of late i was just-" Arohi stopped talking when she saw him just stay in one position staring at her like he'd never seen a woman before in his whole entire life. "Umm, Arjun?!" She clicked her fingers in front of his face to get him back into his senses. Arohi wore a long white dress that rode down her slim body, showing small diamonties glued across the short sleeved edges. A black waist belt with a diamond in the middle wrapped around her stomach to show off her sexy figure. Arjun arrived back into reality and coughed, "Umm, yeah sorry, are you ready?" Arohi narrowed her eyes and spoke "Yeah, i've been standing here for quite a while but you seemed to be day dreaming..." Arjun rolled his eyes and walked over to the other side of the car and opened the passenger seat door. "Take a seat" Arohi smiled and walked over and sat herself down in the car, thanking Arjun after for having the courtesy to open the door for her. They both sat in the car quiet. It was an awkward moment for the two as they sat there in silence with also the radio turned off. Arohi looked outside her window bored out of her mind, thinking to herself why the hell was this even happening to her. However Arjun was keeping his eyes on the road but thinking to himself what the hell had happened to him when he saw Arohi. He knew she looked beautiful, in fact beautiful wasn't the word. She looked stunning, fabulous, mind blowing and he could go on forever, but he would have looked so desperate in front of her. "Dammit" Arjun said a loud, not realizing Arohi heard him. Arohi looked at him and frowned "What's wrong?" Arjun looked at Arohi and hesitated, "Umm nothing, i just got a cramp in my foot" Arohi left the matter there, he never made effort in making a conversation so why should she? Thankfully for both of them their awkward drive was over and they finally arrived at the party venue. He got out of his car and made his way over to Arohi's door and opened it for her, taking out his hand to greet her out. Arohi saw that they both were surrounded by the paparazzi and the was media all over so she had no choice but to place her hand into Arjun's palm.
As Arjun and Arohi held hands, they walked into the Party Venue. The security guards were stopping the paparazzi to get anywhere near the two but they managed to click a few photo's of them holding hands and with smiles on their faces. They both knew this was going to happen, it was something that had to be expected and those FAKE smiles they had put onto their faces were just to show the other people how happy they were together. Many guests approached them both quickly seeing as the whole media were going crazy outside. "Arohi! Oh my god, congratulations on the new music launch for your album! It's amazing!" Alia, one of Arohi's close friends was invited to her party. They always shared their thoughts with each other but it has been long since they last saw each other. "Alia, thank you so much for coming, it's a pleasure seeing you after such a long time!" Arohi hugged Alia and Alia hugged her back with a smile on her face. As she was released Alia saw Arjun standing beside Arohi. "Hmm so your Mr Arjun Punj, the lover of Arohi Sharma! Nice! I'm Alia, Arohi's old childhood friend" She held out her hand towards Arjun and Arjun quickly shook her hand and let go. "Nice to meet you too, in fact Arohi talks about you a lot!" Alia narrowed her eyes at Arohi and looked back at Arjun, "Oh really? What does she say?" Arohi couldn't believe what bullshxt Arjun was coming out with! She had never, in fact not even ONCE mentioned Alia to Arjun! "She tells me what a lovely person you are, and how it's been ages since she saw you! Oh and she said that tonight she was going to surprise everyone by singing to you all!" "WHAT" Arohi practically yelled! Arjun had a big smirk on his face and wrapped his arm around Arohi's waist. "Oh common darling, you were telling me in the car how you were going to sing one of the songs from your album, whats it called? Oh yeah, Kitni Mohabbat Hai right?" Arohi was fuming, she couldn't believe him! Without anyone seeing she elbowed him in his ribs to show a sign of him to shut up! Alia grabbed a microphone and quickly made her way up to the stage.
"Ladies and Gentlemen! I want you all to know that our Beautiful queen Arohi is going to sing her new song Kitni Mohabbat Hai for us all! I welcome on stage Arohi Sharma!!" The spotlight traveled onto Arohi's figure. Arohi looked around her, seeing all the guest's eyes all settled on her, then she saw Arjun's face with a mischievous smile playing amongst his lips. In return she smiled, she was going to sing, show off her voice. After all she was famous for her talented voice so why not spread the love? Arohi walked past everyone and walked into the center of the stage. Everything went dark for a minute, until the spotlight re-lighted onto Arohi who stood in white with a microphone in her hands.

Arohi had her eyes closed throughout her singing the song. She believed the voice only truly came from the heart when she imagined it with her eyes closed. Arohi didn't even realize when the song had finished until she started hearing all the clapping from the guests. As she slowly opened her eyes, only one person was to be seen and that was Arjun. Arjun stood their with his mouth wide opened staring at his beautiful so called 'girlfriend'! He was really shocked to see her sing such beautifully. Arjun knew from the very first day he got his job as a P.A that she was a brilliant singer but he had only heard that through the radio or TV. But seeing it live changed all the negativity towards her singing instantly! She looked like she sang right from her heart and the way she made her talent look so easy to people made him feel a little pinch in his heart. "And i have sang this for one special person guys..." Arjun wondered to himself who Arohi was talking about. Arohi's lips played a small smirk across them and then she welcomed on stage "Arjun, my amazing boyfriend!" Arjun's eyes grew wide and he did the same by looking at all the eyes guests on him, "Me? I-I mean,-" "Go on stage yaar! What you waiting for!" That's all Arjun could hear, clapping and yelling!
Arjun strode over the Arohi and gave her a dirty look. He HATED attention, not to mention that all the attention Arohi was getting from boys, young and old was affecting him bad! Then he slowly felt a arm wrap around his waist. Looking down he saw Arohi resting her head on his chest! "Arohi, get off! We are on the freaking stage everyone is staring at us for gods sake!" Arohi chuckled amongst herself and then smirked. She looked up at Arjun and then stared at him hard, knowing that there was a whole room full of audience staring at the two. She held the microphone to her mouth and said "I shown you my surprise, but there's a surprise from me and Arjun!" Everyone began talking trying to figure out what it was while Arjun was cursing Arohi. "What the heck Arohi" he whispered "What are you playing at?!" Arohi narrowed her eyes and leaned towards his ear and whispered, "I'm doing exactly what you did to me Arjun Punj, just wait and watch" Arjun felt like strangling her there and then, and what was he saying earlier? Oh yeah, that he was going to improve everything within this whole month! First day and it was still the same old crap! Arohi grabbed everybody's attention and announced "Well, me and Arjun are going to give you guys a little entertainment tonight ain't we baby?" She looked at Arjun and gave him a small wink, and Arjun had no clue what 'entertainment' she was going on about! "Well, get ready guys to see me and Arjun dance! Light's off guys!" Arohi quickly got into position and placed her hand into Arjun's palm. "Arohi, i cannot dance! What the hell, your just going to embarrass yourself you fool! I can't DANCE!" Arohi giggled and then put herself serious again "Arjun, just look into my eyes, just follow my steps, everything will be fine...trust me" Without having time to reply back to Arohi, the music already began.

Arohi was panting heavily against Arjun's hard chest. The dance ended and all they could hear was endless cheers, yelling and clapping noises from the audience. Arjun looked at Arohi who looked completely flushed out of her brains, he couldn't believe that for the first ever time a girl got him to dance, and that too he didn't embarrass himself. Arjun replayed Arohi's words whilst dancing to the song... to just look into her eyes, and to follow her steps and it worked! Arohi looked into Arjun's chocolate brown eyes, they totally dazed her off whilst dancing...she felt for the first every time...different. She didn't know what that feeling was. This was all done to just make Arjun feel weird just like he made her feel weird to sing without any preparation but the conclusion of the comeback was different. Arohi quickly slipped out of Arjun's arms and smiled at all her guests from the stage. Arjun looked away knowing that he was getting an awkward feeling about all this. He wanted to get out of the place right away but he had to go everywhere Arohi went today, so he grabbed her hand and took her off the stage with him...
Sorry guys for the delay in update, it's been quite a while to be fair and i am extremely sorry! Exams and all, and i couldn't afford not to concentrate on them!
