Next witness Romit

Arjun: Do you know Sanchit

Romit: Yes, he is my classmate and my babhi's brother and is my friend

Arjun: Do you go to his house often

Romit: Yes, sometime to meet him and sometime to give Arohi bhabhi's message or things

Arjun: On 30^th Jan 2011, did you go to their house to give some things from Arohi?

Romit: Yes

Arjun: What time did you go?

Romit: 4.15pm

Arjun: There you called him outside his house after you reached

Romit: Yes

Romit: Gauri gave me Tea but dropped on my shirt, Sanchit took me to his bedroom so that I wash my shirt and i changed into his shirt. And then we both came down. I had tea and left.

Arjun: How many minutes were you both in Sanchit room

Sanchit: 8-10 minutes

Arjun: Did you have your cell phone with you in sanchit room

Romit: No, i remember searching for my phone and could not get it. We went down and it was on the table of our house main hall where I was drinking tea. I took it and left.

Romit: Getting tensed explains how Rajveer slapped him to confess and Arjun came and told them not to touch his kid brother. He says Rajveer aimed pistol at Arjun's head and Kartar came and saved Arjun. After Arjun left Rajveer said he will show how to torture without a drop of blood dropping and he was tortured to confess till he fainted. This happened for 2 days and he was not given any food or water in these 2 days.

Romit starts crying at this point and Arjun pats his hand to pacify himand he composes himself. Then his father and he were brought to one room and Rajveer told RPS that if he wants Romit alive to sign the confession saying Arjun and RPS were involved in this supari. RPS is helpless and agrees to sign else they will kill him but his brothers arrived with bail order and got him released. Rajveer said that this time Arjun was saved but he will see how many more days he will be safe.

Arjun: Thanks Romit. The medical certificate on his health report on day of release by doctor which correctly states he was tortured brutally and had multiple injuries has been submitted. He still cannot use his left hand properly because of torture. (and looks angrily towards Rajveer and Arohi)

Arjun: Mr PP and Your honour point to be noted Sanchit who is Arohi Ahluwaliah brother accepted without any duress in court that between 4.16 and 4.25pm he and Romit were in his room while Romit's mobile was on the main hall table below. The supari call was made at 4.20pm. A person cannot call from his own cell phone when he is on one floor and the mobile is on another floor. Hence its proved Romit did not call the goons and give Arohi Alhuwaliah's supari. It was someone else who used the mobile in the 8-10 minutes duration when he was in Sanchit's room to call the goons and give supari.

People in court stunned and start discussing among themselves and start looking at Kartar, Arohi and Rajveer suspiciously. Even lawyers and police are stunned now and discussing Arjun's proof. RPS, Michael, Romit and Jignesh shocked.

Judge says: Order, Order

PP: What nonsense, are you indicating that one of my family members will give Arohi's supari

Arjun: By Sanchit Alhuwaliah admission no one other than family came to house from 2pm to 6pm that day. That means only a family member of that house would have called using Romit Singhania's cell number.

PP: Nonsense, Your honour this Arjun Singhania is a very manipulative and crooked person. He knows very well how to twist facts to his and his family advantage

Arjun: Your honour, did you feel from the evidence so far that i have manipulated facts and told in court. I have not told anything. It is witnesses and evidence which is stating what i told. I did not tell anything from my imagination

Judge: Objection overruled. PP do not comment badly on Arjun Singhania's character in court. I am warning you

Next witness is goon leader

Arjun: When did you get Arohi Ahluwaliah's Supari

GL: 30^th Jan around 4.20pm

Arjun: Right: Here is the goon leader mobile records your honour

Arjun: Where did you get the money

GL: In mall it was in dustbin on 31st Jan 2011 at around 12pm

Arjun: is this the money that you got from the bag and shows a bundle.

GL: Examines and says Yes

Arjun: I took this to bank and this is from ABC Bank and no one in Singhania family has account of ABC bank. But majority of Alhuwaliah's have account in that bank and this is report of which Ahluwaliah's have the bank accounts. You can check that Singhania's do not have accounts in that branch/bank or none of the Singhania's have withdrawn huge amounts through their bank accounts in last 3 months. Only our corporate accounts have withdrawn money of that propotion and i have got copy of which person or corporate has got that money during this period. Its been submitted and you can have a look at it. You can enquire with those corporates/persons if they have got the money from our corporate account for further proof in case court requires it.

Judge: Objection overruled

Judge looks at the documents submitted and looks satisfied. He says "You can proceed Mr. Singhania"

Last he calls ABC bank officials

Arjun: Look at this note and check nos on note and tell us who was issued these notes or whether any Alhuwaliah withdraw notes that day from your bank

Bank Officer: This notes were removed on 31^st Jan 2011 but we cannot exactly confirm which person took it. But Alhuwaliah's withdrew a sum of 10 lakhs that day from their account

Arjun: 10 lakhs was given to goons for Arohi murder also. And the bank statement is here that money of 10 lakhs was withdrawn from bank that day from Alhuwaliah's family bank account. The police have to only prove who among Alhuwaliah's had withdrawn money that day to know who gave supari for Arohi. I have alreday proved beyond doubt that one of the Alhuwaliah's only could have made the supari call. I hope court needs no more proof to prove my family-dad and brother is innocent.

Court people start clapping because Arjun has given a brilliant argument

PP: Objection my Lord, Arjun Singhania is spoiling our family reputation that too without evidence
