For the first she she found out that her heart is not in her control anymore.
She tried many ways to make sure that her heart doesn't have a say in her actions. She cried over this bewilderment- and there she started the mind vs heart dilemma.

- No matter how many times she forced herself to think about Chiku...her thoughts always swayed to Arjun. Even though she started a chronoligcal order of her events with Chiku she grasped the fact that Arjun had a big role to play in all those occcasaions. Mind: 0 Heart: 1
-She thought she could stop her feelings by putting everything she ever linked to Arjun in a box but little did she know that even that would not help her. She put the dancing globe that Arjun broke and repaired in to the box to stop herself thinking about Arjun. But realised that Arjun is attached to her in many other ways. She's walking and feels pain in her legs-reminds her of the time when Arjun took care of her. Mind: 0 Heart: 1
-To prove that she was not like others who fall in love without thinking she told ehrself that 'mera maan mein sirf chiku hai'. Just to make sure that her heart doesn't wander anywhere else she was determined to stay inside the cottage-a method she felt would be successful. If she doesn't see Arjun, meet Arjun then of course her mind will only think about chiku. Yet she was forced to stand beside the window-she knew uncounciously that she will definetly be able to set her eyes on Arjun. And thats exactly what happened. She could not move her eyes from Arjun...they were transfixed. Mind: 0 Heart: 1
