I liked that she felt guilty of keeping a father and son away. I would've been really angry, and spanked Heer with you if they didn't show that little scene in train with the dieing and stuff. I think Heers identity is going to be out, but I'm scared Prem might die...Ouch

* big thing: loved the lady who prays to an islamic god being at the shiv mandir! seriously, one of the things that turns me off of these balajitelefilms shows is how much hindu-god worship comes in. it's intriguing that they showed the muslim lady praying at the shiv mandir -- is that a usual thing to see? No not really, my mom would never step into a mandir, but hehe I would. Don't tell her she'd kill me! or does nihaal and his mother either considering the shiv mandir as being specially important? i want to know. and i was not the only one who wondered: the daijaan lady recognises nihaal's mom -- wonders why she is at the shiv mandir?

* little thing: why are we still on veera being a terrible person? it's puky and we know she is awful. for some reason, it's really stomach turning to hear a young person insult an older person. Confused

Yea it was an awful scene. Veera's such a brat, are there such brats in real life? I mean who goes up to a person that isn't saying or doing anything to you just to make fun of them?

* prem thing: pushy-prem today, moving people aside regally so that he and his lady can get to the front. ๐Ÿ˜† Omg yea, I noticed that too.. I was smiling at that, he was like pushing his way out to get to the front... ๐Ÿ˜†

* prem-heer things: the way heer silently nods that the wedding card is theirs. so cute. the way heer looks at prem when the priest asks to put the card at "god's feet". the way prem watches his father like a hawk after that -- as if the moment his father does anything wrong, he'll leap in to pull heer out of harm's way. Aww... yea i loved that too... I loved how you put it.. the way heer looks up at laluchacha after putting the card at his feet. the way prem's eyes love heer's action, and denies his father any possibility of even thinking that it was not the sweetest thing that he has ever seen before in his life. honestly, at that point, prem's face glowed with pride -- "see!! this is my love. this is my chosen bride! have you seen anything more perfect in your life, father? how can you not love her?" Yea I so fell in love with the all the expressions.. it was like one of the best scenes..

this was the most loud silent conversation that we've not heard so far! rotfl these two are not of this generation, i tell you. they are from the age of silent movies and have accidentally been teletransported to our age and are struggling to make a living as actors! they are brilliant. ๐Ÿ˜†

* big thing: it was amazing to see so many of his family's faces look so happy when they saw laluchacha's hand reach out to bless heer. i'm sure it reflected on my face -- it was unbelievable how happy i became. I was so happy when I saw his hand reach out too... But I knew it was too good to be true.

ain't it nice really how there are as many ways in which you can feel happy as there are ways in which you can feel sad? i like this show for the many ways in which they make us feel sad and happy. i just wish there were more of the happy ways more often -- is this "having my cake and eating it too", vibha? ๐Ÿ˜†

* (totally) heer thing: she is just so graceful!! omg Yeshhh you have heer things too now ๐Ÿ˜€ And yea she is really graceful ๐Ÿ˜€

* (totally) prem thing: he has nice looking feet! rotfl!!! he does!! (gotchya! ๐Ÿ˜†) LMAO! I didn't really look at his feet, but yea he probably does...
as long as we are here on physical attributes, he's also very lean in profile. like lean people. of course, hate prem. no question. ๐Ÿ˜†

* big thing: for everyone who has been complacent about preet having dirtchachi under his thumb: i told you so! said it before, saying it again -- never underestimate the hatred of a villain whose plans have been destroyed. or of a woman who bears a grudge.

Ugghh.. I know! You should've seen the look on Preets face. He was so looking like he could've killed that woman. I was gonna kill her! I was hoping Ash would yell it out 'I'm not crying!'... Preet you have got to get revenge.

dirtchachi hates heer, and now prem, above everything else. above her daughter. above her own concerns. above everything!! she will do anything to hurt them. preet, please, please, please have understood that by now? please!!! Ouch she is the most evil thing, and will hurt them. please stop giving her chances. Ouch

I still don't get what she has against the two. Shouldn't she be trying to get Preet married to Ash? Why is she trying to take Premeer apart? I hope she dies.

but on preet, i do think he was thinking oh-poop! when she started. there was also a tinge of disbelief. i just want to know whether he has understood the level of hatred she has for prem-heer.

I think it was more like 'I'm gonna get revenge' type of look. Or maybe it was 'How dare she get out of under my thumb'...

* prem thing: loved his you-snake! look at dirtchachi. loved his how-can-you-not-be-focussed-on-the-beauty-of-my-heer look at laluchacha. think out-of-time silent-movie actors.... and then loved his turning his back on his departing family and bending his head to pray to god. what is he asking for? i want to know... Hehe me too. Though I have a few guesses of what he might have been asking for.

* heer thing: 'cause i think that heer got it all wrong in wanting to return ram from the forest as granting his wish. gosh, the number of people who want to return prem-ram from the forest! while i think that ram wants to stay in the forest!! seriously! why else is he still there? Confused Hehe.. I love how you put it. Like everyones trying to take Ram our of the forest and poor Ram wants to stay there...

and so, no matter how much i loved her passion and ferocity in trying to first lie to meher, and then admitting what she was trying for, i think she is wrong. she isn't wrong in wanting the best for prem. in wanting to cry all his tears for him, so that he can laugh. (oh, believe me, i would cry all his tears just to see him laugh -- really laugh! -- just once!) but she is wrong in how she is doing it. i've written about this in vibha's anal-post: he's not a baby to be dumped on a doorstep in the middle of the night. he's a grown up guy who has taken his decision. but he needs time to live with it. she is the one who told him to take the time. but now she is the one who is snatching it away??? not fair, heer. you are graceful but you are just not being fair!

Yea I guess your right. What hurt me was she thought that Prem was regretting his decision, and what hurt me more was he actually was regretting... Ouch But seriously I think Prem does have the right of making his own decisions, and I don't think if Heer told him to just get of her life, he would. He wouldn't let her go that easily. It would hurt him so much more if she left him, now.

and here, i look back at prem in his love-and-rescue-heer mission. he never stopped loving her. even after knowing she was muckmeet's. he was loving her in the open, at whatever opportunity he got. giving her a rose from the lot that had fallen. cheating to get to dance with her. running after her to find out why she is upset. watching her surreptitiously while shopping. gifting her new clothes "shayad apko kushie deyney kay liye". he never gave up on her. he gave up his happiness, accepted that he will be miserable forever. but never on loving her, fighting for her.

I miss those days... He had so much passion in his eyes. He seems to be getting weak... and I don't like that.

what i didn't like about heer's proposal is that she has decided it is either her or the family for prem. and then she chooses one -- does this mean she is going to give up on the other? what i adored about prem is that until the last minute -- even if it meant misery for both of them -- it was as if he hadn't given up on either. i loved that. i wish we could see heer do the same?

but i must admit: this show has constantly been surprising me on how these characters remain true. we have seen lots of what prem is. i guess now we get to see what heer is made of, what she is capable of. so i will wait and watch, even with gritted teeth right now. because all i see right now is heer making choices for prem that i don't think he has, or would've, or will take.

* big thing: a new substitute for the mad spinning lady -- a baba with a peacock broom? sigh. the lady was so much better. she only predicted everlasting love and prayed that it would always remain. this peacock-broom baba predicts death and unfolded secrets. imho, not that interesting. is it just me? ๐Ÿ˜†

The baba was here since the beginning. He always showed up at the weirdest places. Its like he knows all the secrets of the world lol.

* little thing: so preet is sitting with the children to give his kulraj-di some breathing space?? ๐Ÿ˜† and laluchacha sits with his new pet!! totally rotfl!!

* prem-heer and flowers thing: i'm not going to gush. i'm not going to gush. i'm not going to gush. indenial... tsk tsk. ๐Ÿ˜†

okay, i'm going to gush. I knew it, you had to give into the magic...

love the regal pose in which prem sits. in comparison, graceful heer's slouching?? ๐Ÿ˜† loved the way prem was totally disinterested in flowers until the flower-girl mentioned how pretty it would look in heer's hair. at which point, everything in his look at flowers changed! ๐Ÿ˜† Yea I noticed that too, its like a whole new glow was on Prem's face. loved that speculative look he shot at heer and her hair. loved her shy look away. loved how he - silent, resigned, and amused all together! ๐Ÿ˜† - gave the money in exchange for flowers.

totally loved how he then dumped the flowers on heer!!! it was like "okay, i've done my part - you do yours and take these damned flowers off my hand!" that made me giggle wildly - it was sooooo male! loved her face when she started putting the flowers in her hair -- "okay, you've done your part. the real work is all mine like always, isn't it?" loved his sneaking a look at her (totally deliberate, i thought!) struggles. loved her little smile when he started helping her with the flowers in her hair.

totally loved their fingers getting mixed up in the job. (what can i say? i'm a total fan of the prem-heer-hand chemistry!! ๐Ÿ˜†) Hehe there hands can't stay without eachother. I think the real stars here are the hands... ๐Ÿ˜†

totally loved his smile at meher when she came in to break up the finger party. Finger part!!! LMAO!!! But I loved how he wasn't shying away, he just smiled at Meher and turned around to look out the window again.

totally loved how he adjusted himself -- regally as always! -- into his space after meher came! until then, there were three seats with prem-heer behaving like there was one, all cozy and smashed into each other, in the corner.

stop gushing. stop gushing. stop gushing. well, had to stop gushing 'cause heer's voice-over reminded me what she is going to do. and it was strangely heartbreaking: that last look of heer's full of sneaky-hidden thoughts. and in return, we have prem's open shinning look of love and trust. i hated that end. really hated it. Ouch

highlight of the episode: hmmm... ๐Ÿ˜† forget it, not falling into another gush fest here. but i did like laluchacha's attempt at redemption by beginning to bless heer. and preet-and-prem's you're-a-snake dirtchachi look at the temple.

Overall I think the epi was good too. I'm expecting something really good for tommorow... ๐Ÿ˜€

no, veera's much worse than melissa's harman. and considering how much she has us convinced that he is a copy-cat, if you put veera with harman, then maybe he'll start copying and behaving like her!!!

soooo don't want veera to be with melissa's harman -- i like melissa's harman as he is! ๐Ÿ˜†

I thought that prem looked happy there but he should have said something to QB...why was he quiet?

'cause she is dirt and princes don't talk to dirt? and who knows what laluchacha have done in reaction? as it was, prem got a little bit of positive from his father today. it was such a delicate moment that only dirty dirtchachi could've even thought of destroying with her spite and venom. i think prem did the right thing.

ya, right!!! like you didn't!! go on, confess!! ๐Ÿ˜†

Even i have always said E that QB is bad and preet is impulsive so i was expecting this

i was surprised at how loudly she did it. i knew she wouldn't let it go. just didn't think she'd be manipulating laluchacha in front of preet like that -- 'cause she used ashlesha!! made her join the lie. in front of preet! isn't that giving away family secrets? i never doubted the "if she would do it". but i must admit: i was taken aback at the how.

I feel sorry for poor heer

ya, i know. i'm afraid that i don't. i thought getting prem was the prize. if there is some pain you have to take in the process, you steel your soul, grit your teeth and do it. not worry about some odd story that you heard from an old man in the park. and your guesses at how it has affected prem! there must be a better path to walk that what heer has chosen.

Originally posted by: vibha_23

But E even in that scenario prem was full of fire now its all gone somewhere and maybe thats what heer is thinking as well....even in all those situations prem was prem now what we see is not that same prem....even when he knew heer cant be his he had that passion that fire and now he knows heer is his there is nothing, nada, zilch.......i guess heer saw that and came to her decision???

he is the same prem! he's still there isn't he? she knows that all he has to do is dump her. why isn't he? is he that stooopid that he can't make up his own mind? he always has -- even when she tried forcing him earlier, he used to fight her - he used to fight heer herself!

the thing that kills me is that she is the one who used the line of "time" and healing. why is not she giving him the chance to heal, damnit!??! (i'm so perturbed, i almost capitalised!!!! ๐Ÿ˜†)

even fire-breathing dragons need rest and recuperation. i think it's silly to think of prem breathing fire all the time. if she thinks he's unhappy, why hasn't she ever grabbed him by the ears, dumped him in bed, patted him on the head, put his head in her lap and let him sleep??!?!!

๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜† (did i getchya again???๐Ÿ˜†)
๐Ÿ˜†

there is no old and new prem. there is prem. take him or leave him. and when he wants you, why would you leave him?

damnit!

(of course, i'm smart - i've never wanted prem. he's like a clinical experiment to me - very very interesting and making me want to watch him all the tim... no, a lot. that's all.)

oh totally! (and remember, i'm always wrong on what happens in the story. i just need to understand the characters. and even there i'm wrong! ๐Ÿ˜†)

๐Ÿ˜† aren't the fingers together totally drool? would've started a prem-heer hands fan club if only i knew how, and had the time.. ๐Ÿ˜†

I want to know whose raaz will be out???cant be heer's E coz then 80% of story will be out and then what new can these creatives bring so i think it may be nihal's and then nihal would be quiet coz he never says anyuthing

you're right - there are so many, they can have their pick this time! ๐Ÿ˜†

but i do think the heer-meher one is an important one. and i agree that the whole story will shift once it comes out. but dwelling too long on one secret is not healthy for story development, no?

it'll be good to clear this one up and get the story going to the next level. i'm sure the whole of this show need not depend on just keeping this secret ... secret!

all i know is .. still waiting and watching. ๐Ÿ˜†

๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜†
from the time of silent movies .....not accidentally but purposely i feel....we keep staring at the screen reading their minds and debating in our minds which is correct and which is not ,who is right and who is not.....

ya! i was totally digging the prem attitude today -- he is adjusting to his father's stoopid attitude. he's digging his feet into being heer's. and at this delicate point, heer decides she has had enough???

it make me sulk when the show writes the guy as the good guy and the girl as not having thought it out enough. hmm, maybe i'll sulk before going to bed now...

and about silent movies: i've been watching french silent movies (!) and it's breathtaking how much fun it can be.. all that guesswork. ๐Ÿ˜†

actually, you pointed out something i didn't. meher! you are right! when heer is going on and on about whether prem'll be with them, meher's in the background shaking her head no as if to say "didi, you are delusional! what are you talking about!?"

Confused

and here, i look back at prem in his love-and-rescue-heer mission. he never stopped loving her. even after knowing she was muckmeet's. he was loving her in the open, at whatever opportunity he got. giving her a rose from the lot that had fallen. cheating to get to dance with her. running after her to find out why she is upset. watching her surreptitiously while shopping. gifting her new clothes "shayad apko kushie deyney kay liye". he never gave up on her. he gave up his happiness, accepted that he will be miserable forever. but never on loving her, fighting for her.

* prem-heer and flowers thing: i'm not going to gush. i'm not going to gush. i'm not going to gush.

okay, i'm going to gush.

love the regal pose in which prem sits. in comparison, graceful heer's slouching?? ๐Ÿ˜† loved the way prem was totally disinterested in flowers until the flower-girl mentioned how pretty it would look in heer's hair. at which point, everything in his look at flowers changed! ๐Ÿ˜† loved that speculative look he shot at heer and her hair. loved her shy look away. loved how he - silent, resigned, and amused all together!

totally loved his smile at meher when she came in to break up the finger party.

totally loved how he adjusted himself -- regally as always!

Ouch i just loved your gushing ๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜† it was brilliant. yup you described it perfectly - the eye party, the finger party - you gave words to their silent conversations - loved it ๐Ÿฅฐ

highlight of the episode: hmmm... ๐Ÿ˜† forget it, not falling into another gush fest here. but i did like laluchacha's attempt at redemption by beginning to bless heer. and preet-and-prem's you're-a-snake dirtchachi look at the temple. i liked him blessing heer too - he has not done it often - the only other time was when she went to jail and came out - gosh she does need love in her life - having no parents and after all that she has been through with dj chachi Confused

I think Heers identity is going to be out, but I'm scared Prem might die...Ouch

no, i think heer deserves to be spanked - first lines or other people dying or anything. nothing should make her think like this - throw prem away without giving prem-heer a chance? big spanks are due! seriously. i'll cry with her if anything happens to prem, of course. but if she's going to work to give prem-heer a chance, then at least they'd have been happy before anything happens?

and just by-the-way: i don't think anyone's going to die - i don't believe this baba with the peacock broom like i believe the mad spinning lady. so there. (mutinous look by me inserted here.)

wow, that's cool. no, won't tell her, of course. but in my book: new generation 1, old generation 0.

go new generation!!! ๐Ÿ˜†

I was so happy when I saw his hand reach out too... But I knew it was too good to be true.

really, you knew? i was kinda hoping -- it being a religious place and all -- that it would go all the way, even if only for a teeeny moment that noone else but prem heer and gayatri-mom would see.

sigh. detest dirtchachi.

๐Ÿ˜† oh, she's been getting her own "things" for a while now. these people are quite sneaky -- getting their own things all the time.

I was hoping Ash would yell it out 'I'm not crying!'... Preet you have got to get revenge.

actually, i was surprised ashlesha didn't! because it all happened in front of preet! i thought she'd do anything for preet, to get preet. and it struck me as odd she didn't speak louder.... maybe it's because - unlike preet - she's smart and knows that her mother can do everything, but preet is just a novice at this spy-vs.-spy stuff? Confused

I think it was more like 'I'm gonna get revenge' type of look. Or maybe it was 'How dare she get out of under my thumb'...

oh, i hope so. i hope it just means he will be ultra-smart and defeat dirtchachi properly the next time. Ouch

It would hurt him so much more if she left him, now.

what i really don't get is how she is so sure that he is regretting. because of one story by the old guy? because he didn't let her wipe his tears???

any mein-bhagwan-nehi-hoon person can regret but as long as it doesn't show in his actions or deeds, why would we crucify him for it??

in all his actions, prem has been a prince. why do we wish a no-heer life because he is human enough to shed tears? why do we wish to never have him smile forever after because he is missing his father?

it's such a small sin on his part. and yet, heer wants to give him the worst punishment ever. it's just. not. fair. it isn't. Confused

I miss those days... He had so much passion in his eyes. He seems to be getting weak... and I don't like that.

strangely enough, i think of him as the strongest person ever. he makes a move. sticks with it. is honest enough not to lie about the costs of the move. and still sticks with it, with love and tenacity.

he's the strongest person i know for doing all that. no-one else would be as tenacious. no-one else would be as honest. both tenacity and honesty are tough as hell -- think about telling the people in your class that you don't want to party or holiday, but want to work over the summer for an exam. you can do the course. but lying about it will make it simpler to face your friends. simpler, but not honest.

i adore prem for being honest with his misery and his tears. so there. he's the strongest character i know.

the point here is that heer has seen enough....enough to make her take such decisions....or is it her way of showing her love ....getting away from her love...

instead of tricking him into putting flowers into her hair, and earning his smile? she should know there are better ways, no? Ermm

thanks goodness!! 'cause in my other-show watching, i've seen they can do the scene filling bit quite well with seemingly profound, and totally irrelevant bits!! argh!

ya, real question: does he know now???

Originally posted by: maya123

.i noticed that prem prayed but heer did not - according to veera you ask for a partner at that mandir so hopefully prem was asking to be with heer forever. ๐Ÿฅฐ

really???? how sweet is that! didn't think of making the connection. that's true. thanks!

how sweet. (can't believe i'm glowing here in the middle of the night...)

you have a point there - he is a grown man and he has made his decision to stay with her. but he seems so unhappy with his decision and cannot seem to get over the grief he has caused his dad by the decision he has made. he still seems very torn by the decision that he has made. guess these two do everything for each other's happiness. maybe heer realises how important his family, his roots (his jaad) is to him and that both of them will never really be happy together unless his family is happy - something like in DDLJ where SRK believes that he will only marry Simran after receiving blessings from her dad. also, when heer proposed to prem he did not say that irrespective of what they have or not or who agrees to their relationship or not; they will marry. he has in essence agreed only once to being with her - when he took her away from dj and marrying manmeet, but after that he has only shown doubt and grief at the decision he has made. so heer being the BT heroine that she is, is going to give him what she thinks he wants. Confused

well, there has never been quite a hero like this in my memory. so i'm hoping for a cool heer as well. i want her to have the same sensibilities as prem in his rescue-heer mission. i want her to see that prem can smile, and eventually laugh, because of things like she does (like that silly can't put flowers in my hair attitude). i want her to stop thinking there's only one possible way in which she can make prem happy. pay him back in laughter what he bought for her by leaving ashlesha, threatening the world, giving up home and family.

i want her to give him back his laughter -- the laughter that his mother said that only she taught prem about. i want her to remember that line. and then think about how to take away his tears and bring him laughter. i do. i want her to be a prem-like heroine.

crossing my fingers. waiting and watching. ๐Ÿ™‚
