hmm. it was a hmm episode, really. except for the i-wanna-spank-heer part, i'm still hmmm-ing.. Spank Heer? Bechari ko pehli baar lines mili thi. I liked that she felt guilty of keeping a father and son away. I would've been really angry, and spanked Heer with you if they didn't show that little scene in train with the dieing and stuff. I think Heers identity is going to be out, but I'm scared Prem might die...
* big thing: loved the lady who prays to an islamic god being at the shiv mandir! seriously, one of the things that turns me off of these balajitelefilms shows is how much hindu-god worship comes in. it's intriguing that they showed the muslim lady praying at the shiv mandir -- is that a usual thing to see? No not really, my mom would never step into a mandir, but hehe I would. Don't tell her she'd kill me! or does nihaal and his mother either considering the shiv mandir as being specially important? i want to know. and i was not the only one who wondered: the daijaan lady recognises nihaal's mom -- wonders why she is at the shiv mandir?
* little thing: why are we still on veera being a terrible person? it's puky and we know she is awful. for some reason, it's really stomach turning to hear a young person insult an older person.
Yea it was an awful scene. Veera's such a brat, are there such brats in real life? I mean who goes up to a person that isn't saying or doing anything to you just to make fun of them?
* prem thing: pushy-prem today, moving people aside regally so that he and his lady can get to the front. ๐ Omg yea, I noticed that too.. I was smiling at that, he was like pushing his way out to get to the front... ๐
* prem-heer things: the way heer silently nods that the wedding card is theirs. so cute. the way heer looks at prem when the priest asks to put the card at "god's feet". the way prem watches his father like a hawk after that -- as if the moment his father does anything wrong, he'll leap in to pull heer out of harm's way. Aww... yea i loved that too... I loved how you put it.. the way heer looks up at laluchacha after putting the card at his feet. the way prem's eyes love heer's action, and denies his father any possibility of even thinking that it was not the sweetest thing that he has ever seen before in his life. honestly, at that point, prem's face glowed with pride -- "see!! this is my love. this is my chosen bride! have you seen anything more perfect in your life, father? how can you not love her?" Yea I so fell in love with the all the expressions.. it was like one of the best scenes..
this was the most loud silent conversation that we've not heard so far! rotfl these two are not of this generation, i tell you. they are from the age of silent movies and have accidentally been teletransported to our age and are struggling to make a living as actors! they are brilliant. ๐
* big thing: it was amazing to see so many of his family's faces look so happy when they saw laluchacha's hand reach out to bless heer. i'm sure it reflected on my face -- it was unbelievable how happy i became. I was so happy when I saw his hand reach out too... But I knew it was too good to be true.
ain't it nice really how there are as many ways in which you can feel happy as there are ways in which you can feel sad? i like this show for the many ways in which they make us feel sad and happy. i just wish there were more of the happy ways more often -- is this "having my cake and eating it too", vibha? ๐
* (totally) heer thing: she is just so graceful!! omg Yeshhh you have heer things too now ๐ And yea she is really graceful ๐
* (totally) prem thing: he has nice looking feet! rotfl!!! he does!! (gotchya! ๐) LMAO! I didn't really look at his feet, but yea he probably does...
as long as we are here on physical attributes, he's also very lean in profile. like lean people. of course, hate prem. no question. ๐
* big thing: for everyone who has been complacent about preet having dirtchachi under his thumb: i told you so! said it before, saying it again -- never underestimate the hatred of a villain whose plans have been destroyed. or of a woman who bears a grudge.
Ugghh.. I know! You should've seen the look on Preets face. He was so looking like he could've killed that woman. I was gonna kill her! I was hoping Ash would yell it out 'I'm not crying!'... Preet you have got to get revenge.
dirtchachi hates heer, and now prem, above everything else. above her daughter. above her own concerns. above everything!! she will do anything to hurt them. preet, please, please, please have understood that by now? please!!!she is the most evil thing, and will hurt them. please stop giving her chances.

I still don't get what she has against the two. Shouldn't she be trying to get Preet married to Ash? Why is she trying to take Premeer apart? I hope she dies.
but on preet, i do think he was thinking oh-poop! when she started. there was also a tinge of disbelief. i just want to know whether he has understood the level of hatred she has for prem-heer.
I think it was more like 'I'm gonna get revenge' type of look. Or maybe it was 'How dare she get out of under my thumb'...
* prem thing: loved his you-snake! look at dirtchachi. loved his how-can-you-not-be-focussed-on-the-beauty-of-my-heer look at laluchacha. think out-of-time silent-movie actors.... and then loved his turning his back on his departing family and bending his head to pray to god. what is he asking for? i want to know... Hehe me too. Though I have a few guesses of what he might have been asking for.
* heer thing: 'cause i think that heer got it all wrong in wanting to return ram from the forest as granting his wish. gosh, the number of people who want to return prem-ram from the forest! while i think that ram wants to stay in the forest!! seriously! why else is he still there?Hehe.. I love how you put it. Like everyones trying to take Ram our of the forest and poor Ram wants to stay there...
and so, no matter how much i loved her passion and ferocity in trying to first lie to meher, and then admitting what she was trying for, i think she is wrong. she isn't wrong in wanting the best for prem. in wanting to cry all his tears for him, so that he can laugh. (oh, believe me, i would cry all his tears just to see him laugh -- really laugh! -- just once!) but she is wrong in how she is doing it. i've written about this in vibha's anal-post: he's not a baby to be dumped on a doorstep in the middle of the night. he's a grown up guy who has taken his decision. but he needs time to live with it. she is the one who told him to take the time. but now she is the one who is snatching it away??? not fair, heer. you are graceful but you are just not being fair!
Yea I guess your right. What hurt me was she thought that Prem was regretting his decision, and what hurt me more was he actually was regretting...But seriously I think Prem does have the right of making his own decisions, and I don't think if Heer told him to just get of her life, he would. He wouldn't let her go that easily. It would hurt him so much more if she left him, now.
and here, i look back at prem in his love-and-rescue-heer mission. he never stopped loving her. even after knowing she was muckmeet's. he was loving her in the open, at whatever opportunity he got. giving her a rose from the lot that had fallen. cheating to get to dance with her. running after her to find out why she is upset. watching her surreptitiously while shopping. gifting her new clothes "shayad apko kushie deyney kay liye". he never gave up on her. he gave up his happiness, accepted that he will be miserable forever. but never on loving her, fighting for her.
I miss those days... He had so much passion in his eyes. He seems to be getting weak... and I don't like that.
what i didn't like about heer's proposal is that she has decided it is either her or the family for prem. and then she chooses one -- does this mean she is going to give up on the other? what i adored about prem is that until the last minute -- even if it meant misery for both of them -- it was as if he hadn't given up on either. i loved that. i wish we could see heer do the same?
but i must admit: this show has constantly been surprising me on how these characters remain true. we have seen lots of what prem is. i guess now we get to see what heer is made of, what she is capable of. so i will wait and watch, even with gritted teeth right now. because all i see right now is heer making choices for prem that i don't think he has, or would've, or will take.
* big thing: a new substitute for the mad spinning lady -- a baba with a peacock broom? sigh. the lady was so much better. she only predicted everlasting love and prayed that it would always remain. this peacock-broom baba predicts death and unfolded secrets. imho, not that interesting. is it just me? ๐
The baba was here since the beginning. He always showed up at the weirdest places. Its like he knows all the secrets of the world lol.
* little thing: so preet is sitting with the children to give his kulraj-di some breathing space?? ๐ and laluchacha sits with his new pet!! totally rotfl!!
* prem-heer and flowers thing: i'm not going to gush. i'm not going to gush. i'm not going to gush. indenial... tsk tsk. ๐
okay, i'm going to gush. I knew it, you had to give into the magic...
love the regal pose in which prem sits. in comparison, graceful heer's slouching?? ๐ loved the way prem was totally disinterested in flowers until the flower-girl mentioned how pretty it would look in heer's hair. at which point, everything in his look at flowers changed! ๐ Yea I noticed that too, its like a whole new glow was on Prem's face. loved that speculative look he shot at heer and her hair. loved her shy look away. loved how he - silent, resigned, and amused all together! ๐ - gave the money in exchange for flowers.
totally loved how he then dumped the flowers on heer!!! it was like "okay, i've done my part - you do yours and take these damned flowers off my hand!" that made me giggle wildly - it was sooooo male! loved her face when she started putting the flowers in her hair -- "okay, you've done your part. the real work is all mine like always, isn't it?" loved his sneaking a look at her (totally deliberate, i thought!) struggles. loved her little smile when he started helping her with the flowers in her hair.
totally loved their fingers getting mixed up in the job. (what can i say? i'm a total fan of the prem-heer-hand chemistry!! ๐) Hehe there hands can't stay without eachother. I think the real stars here are the hands... ๐
totally loved his smile at meher when she came in to break up the finger party. Finger part!!! LMAO!!! But I loved how he wasn't shying away, he just smiled at Meher and turned around to look out the window again.
totally loved how he adjusted himself -- regally as always! -- into his space after meher came! until then, there were three seats with prem-heer behaving like there was one, all cozy and smashed into each other, in the corner.
stop gushing. stop gushing. stop gushing. well, had to stop gushing 'cause heer's voice-over reminded me what she is going to do. and it was strangely heartbreaking: that last look of heer's full of sneaky-hidden thoughts. and in return, we have prem's open shinning look of love and trust. i hated that end. really hated it.
highlight of the episode: hmmm... ๐ forget it, not falling into another gush fest here. but i did like laluchacha's attempt at redemption by beginning to bless heer. and preet-and-prem's you're-a-snake dirtchachi look at the temple.
Overall I think the epi was good too. I'm expecting something really good for tommorow... ๐
