SAME TIME BTWN AASTHA-SHUBH N PREET-MEHER
the four of them were having fun with each other... they had some close dancing... romance was truely in the air...
suddenly a scream, "SHUBH!!!!!"
before shubh could turn around and find the person who yelled so loudly that he jumped, someone fell onto him and hugged him tightly. he felt the hair and soft cheeks... it must be a girl he thought. meanwhile, aastha's smile faltered and there was a frown on her face.
still clutching him, the girl sobbed,"kahan the tum...?? pata hai maine tume kitna miss kiya... jaane se pehle muje bataaya kyu nahi...??? main yaha tume doondhte doondhte aayi thi..."
she let go and shubh squinted at the tear-filled and kajal-smeared eyes... oh no!!!!
shubh: simone????
simone shook her head frantically... she reached upto him and kissed his cheeks... aastha was getting positively angry, her cheeks all red.
preet and meher looked troubled as to what to do. shubh looked punch-drunk. he looked at aastha and saw her look. he shook himself...
shubh to the others: guys ye simone hai... mere saath kaam karti thi... bahut achche dost the hum...
aastha still frowned at his gulpings... he sure looked bothered. simone giggled through her tears. everyone focussed on her...
simone: kitna jhoot bolta hai..{she punched shubh playfully}... we werent just friends... i was his girlfriend....ooops! i am his girlfriend. ye sab kaun hai shubh???
shubh forwned at her as he saw aastha's nose flair.. he pointed out each of them.
shubh: ye preet hai... ye meri cousin meher... aur ye aastha... meri mangethar...
simone looked as if a boulder had fell on her... fiance??????
simone to aastha: oh... congrats...
but the dissappointment was etched on her face... was there jealousy???
shubh: toh tumne bataaya nahi... tum mumbai me kya kar rahi ho...???
simone: kapoor agency main modelling ki offer aayi thi... i pursued it... so now i am here...
shubh: hey main bhi waha kaam ke silsile me aate jaate rehta hoon...
simone: wow!!! we can meet frequently...
shubh: yea sure...
she left a bit quickly. aastha rounded on shubh.
aastha: toh ye tumari girlfriend thi... aur tum use frequently milna jaa rahe ho
preet nudged meher: i think hume in dono ko akela chodni chahiye...
meher nodded seeing shubh's expression. they left.
shubh: THI aastha... ab nahi.... ab toh bas tum hi ho mera...
he flashed his cutest smile. aastha dint take it.
aastha: na jaane kitne simone's aayenge... i am so disgusted.
shubh flaring up: hold it..! i am engaged... koi bhi aayenge na kahenge...
aastha couldnt help it... her face split to a grin. she knew shubh had changed... he wasnt the flirty guy others talked about. he was truely in love with her. his eyes told that... and he knew how to cool her down when she was angry...
aastha: agar tume koi aur mil jaaye toh kya tum muje chodke jaaoge???
shubh felt the concern and emotion in her voice. he shed his naughty behaviour at once and took her face in his hands....
shubh: bhala koi apne jaan ko chodke jaa sakta hai???
aastha and shubh looked at each other... both enjoying the moment...

days passed... heer concentrating on her concert... prem on his busy work schedule that our love birds hardly ever get time for romance. despite shubh's assurance to aastha, he met simone a lot of times though he never told aastha that. he only considered simone as a friend and colleague but he also knew aastha wouldnt like it. even simone considered the fact and seemed to have accepted that shubh and herself were not meant to be together.
heer's concert approached. prem had an important meeting but promised heer that he would meet her in the green room just before the concert began... but no prem dint come...
heer walked here and there in impatience... "ye prem bhi na... jab kaam me phas jaata hai toh apne biwi ka khayal kabhi nahi aata..."
just then kripa knocked and entered. she asked heer to make her entry because they were already late on the show. heer wanted to wait but nodded and walked after kripa.
outside the stage entrance, she met rahul. they had quiet gotten to each other during the rehearsals. rahul was a great guy who always joked around with her but she knew enough of him to take him seriously. after all both were same age and they had become very wel knitted friends.
rahul knew it was her first stage show and her nervousness showed.
rahul: nervous?
heer nodded.
rahul: take deep breaths... aur ab chalo!
they walked up to the stage with the beats starting to take up. rahul and heer did the steps they rehearsed. but heer's eyes went to the audience to see if her prem was there... but she couldnt see the person he loved with a naughty expression and cute smile in his face.
rahul and heer sang much to a very loud applause...

the show went a great success. heer was very irritated with prem. he had managed to bunk her first concert. she was not going to leave him for this. she went back home with preet and meher who had stayed back to take her. she stomped into her room deaf to all the congrats...
she changed herself and fell onto her bed... she punched her pillow and cried...

she understood prem's voice so she dint even look up. she just double punched the air and said some gaalis that were muffled to him.
he pulled his tie off and lit the lamps. he went and sat next to her. she turned her face away from him.
prem: sorry jaan...
he touched her but she snapped...
heer: muje tumse koi baat nahi karni...
prem: chalo heer... main aana chahta tha... par you know... woh meeting over time chali gayi...
heer snorted: oh yes... tume toh bas meeting aur kaam important hai... main kaise aa sakti hoon tum aur tumare meeting ke beech... mere toh bas ek concert hai... you dont have to waste your valued time for me...
prem pulled heer up...
prem: tume kya laga... main tumare liye apne time nahi nikaalunga...???
heer looked at prem all confused...
prem: tumare concert se bade koi meeting veeting nahi hai... samjhi???
he took out the camera from the side table and showed her all the pics of her concert...
heer: tum...??? kaha the??? main tume hi dekh raha tha...
prem: muje tume surprise deni thi... tumari pehle concert aur main usse miss karu...??? naamumkin!
heer felt so bad... she had to be angry on him... she hugged him with all love.....

a few days later, heer was serving prem lunch. he was late from work, others had had lunch already. so heer and prem were alone over the dining table...
heer: prem...
prem, still mouth full: mmm...???
heer: woh... angad ne phone kiya tha...
prem: mmm... muje bhi roz kartha hai...
heer: kya usne bataaya tume???
prem: kya???
heer knew angad hadnt told prem.
heer: woh... angad world tour plan kar rahe hai... you know... woh last concert itne hit the.... sponsors want to redo the magic all over the world.
prem: toh???
heer: they are asking me to join them... its a 1 month tour...
prem gagged over his roti...
prem: kya???? 1 month??? heer... no!
heer: prem, aisa mat kaho... its so great... i really want to do it... please????
prem: heer... tumare bina ek din nahi reh paata hoon... ek mahina kaise???
heer: jab tum din bhar meetings aur hafte bhar conferences karte rahte ho toh tume koi fark nahi padta... par tum muje kaam nahi karne dega... okay then... i wont do it!
she almost stomped out but prem stopped her.
prem: if u wish to do it, main tume nahi rokunga heer... tumare khushi main hi meri khushi hai...
heer smiled at him. prem really dint like her going but he let it happen just because he wanted her to be happy always.
