The epi begins with Veerji storming out to the fields…he goes to his field and reads the board saying this land is not for sale and then he erases it…Teji comes running and asks him to stop…and asks him since he considered the land as his mother, then how is he able to sell her…he says I know I had told that, but even my kids are her kids and I am sure she would want that too..Veerji starts to erase the board and Teji says…please don't do this..Veerji says, for my child's marriage, I am selling my mother..God please forgive me..Heer and Meher are in tears…Veerji turns back to see them..both the daughters come running to Veerji…and the whole family is in tears….Veerji thinks I will mortgage the land and then do Heer's marriage…
All the preps for the marriage are going on…Veerji asks for lassi…Teji brings it…and Veerji says, I wil bring a nice suit for you Teji, Teji says I don't need any new dresses, I have an old one I will wear that…and asks him to bring himself a coat…and veerji says Ok, then he will bring a suit for the moti, looking at Meher…Then Veerji leaves for the court…and Heer corrects him and says, you should say, I am going n coming…not I am going…Veejri smiles and goes…
Heer and Meher are breaking a piggie bank and they discuss if they can buy dresses for Ma Babuji…and they hope that they can get it…and then Meher complains how she is never in the video and she keeps asking all the video ppl but they deny it saying that I will take the whole screen…they share a laughing moment..and Meher gets sad thinking in this wedding they wont be able to have any video grapher..both of them have a sad moment…Tei listens to all this…and is tearful….
Veerji is at the court and gets frustrated seeing the long line and thinks how can he sell his mother land like this….meanwhile Teji is sad thinking how her daughters are subduing their hopes for the troube they are facing..she is standing before a photo studio and goes in and asks if they do marriage videos etc..the guy says…yes they do. A lil boy brings tea and Teji asks for water..they point to a pot and Teji is about to drink the water when she notices Manmeet marriage photo and asks when did the marriage happen n who the guy is…Teji si shell shocked…the guy in the shop says he does not remember the name but the marriage was held in ludhiana…teji asks if she could get a copy of it..the guy gets her one and tei runs out of the office crazily crying and thinks she needs to tell Sardarji and meanwhile Veerji is waiting in line and its lunch break in the court and the lawyer goes on break..teji takes the bus, also Heer n Meher are looking for dresses to buy for Veerji and Teji…meher n Heer decide on a suit for Teji and while buying Meher embarrasses Heer by saying loudly tht the dresses are for her marriage..Heer scolds her..and they both go through the field…and meher teases heer more..meanwhile teji is anxious to reach the court on time and thinks she will not let heers life get spoiled…veerji there is waiting in the line..meher and heer play in the field…Teji gets down from the bus and the lawyer is just about to stamp the papers..Teji turns and shouts and tells him to stop…Veerji turns to see Teji n is shocked…teji comes to him Veerji asks what happened..Teji shows veerji the photo and veerji is shocked….and then thinks of the time when he n meher had seen manmeet from the bus…veerji gets angry…and tells he will not leave manmeet and his family..Teji tells they should go…Veerji says, now I will say no infront of the whole biradari….and now they will know…and they say even balwant and daljeet must be sad…and they run home..
At home Daljeet, Balwant and Manmeet are scheming..and says our plan is good for Manmeet…balwant says once veerji comes to know he will bury me alive….daljeet..so why don't you get buried…in gold…and then Daljeet says, manmeet you get married..I mean you get what you want, we will get what we want…Balwant says you talk too much, first see and then talk and right then Veerji comes in gets one tight slap to Balwant..Daljeet is shocked..Balwant is shocked as well..Teji and Veerji look on angrily..Veerji says..you did such a big betrayal to your own people??? Daljeet look scared….
