Earth's final conflict

Chapter 3

In Telon Embassy in Washington D.C.

"Daaon I heard that, you newly recruited a Telon protector for yourself very quickly and you have done it without any vetting of this person. It seems like your thought process is significantly contaminated by the prolong exposure and working with inferior species. Your selection seems like base on emotion, it does not reflect rationality which is expected from senior Telons." Zaroon criticized Daoon.

"I afraid your criticism lack constructive elements. Ironically, I think it is you who is operated by emotion. You have one-sided rivalry with me, which sometimes leads gathering of clouds around your judgment make you think that, my recruitment of Major Prem Juneja is not justified.

Major Prem Juneja is obviously one of the best young human army officers in the North America. I read his file, which indicates his excellence in various fields. He Promoted as Major when he was just 29.

He is capable of surviving from dangerous situation and he has excellent efficiency with arms. Those qualities are necessary for a Telon protector and Major Prem Juneja has those qualities.

Major Prem Juneja worked in secret government project, so he will have better understanding of how to maintain secrecy. You should also notice that, Major Prem Juneja has great loyalty towards Late Lt. Colonel William Boon. William Boon was a dedicated Telon protector and Prem Juneja considers William Boon as his inspiration and I have no doubt therefore Prem Juneja will be a brilliant Telon's protector." Daoon firmly replied.

"One thing I will never able to understand about you. You seem like having illogical level of confidence on this primal inferior race. There are so inferior in their thinking, action and I don't think they will ever improve." After saying that, zaroon left the place.

"You would be surprised if you could realize what evolved human could do." Daoon commented after Zaroon departure while thinking about how Prem saved him from the attack in the symmetry.

In Another room of the Telon embassy

"Welcome, Major Juneja, I was waiting for you, this will be your officeroom, and you will recive update about situation from this custom made I phone device and its configuration is significantly altered by Telon scientist. You will also have one desktop and one laptop and both of them encrypted also by Telon scientist.

In addition, major becoming a Telon Protector is the one of the highest honor that one could receive and I hope you will do well as Telon protector. Good luck major." Brian Sandoval, a senior Telon protector told Prem and after wishing him luck, Sandoval left the room.

Prem looked around the room. It was a large room and had so many sophisticated gadgets and devices; it had most expensive tables and chairs. That room also had two large sofas for welcoming guest and resting purpose.

Prem also learned he had authority over 20 lower ranked human employee of Telon embassy. They were ready to serve him whenever he wanted to call them via typing code on his I phone.

Prem suddenly saw an incoming video call from one Telon employee.

Prem received the call and instantly a 3D visuals appeared in front of him.

" Sir, sorry to disturb you, but Ms. Heer Maan, Co coordinator of wide ranges of Human-Telon joint technological and bioengineering project wants to meet you and introduce herself." That employee told Prem. Prem noticed Heer in that 3d visuals. Prem easily recognized her as he recently read a detailed file on her.

Heer came to that Telon embassy with a determined mind; she wanted to know Prem Juneja.

She was feeling attracted to him but at the same time she knew something was strange with Prem Juneja. There were several things about Prem Juneja, which raised questions in her mind about Major Prem Juneja.

She also wanted to evaluate the ideology of Major Prem Juneja. She wanted to know if Major Prem Juneja poses any threat to Resistance movement.

She also wanted to have an eye on various Telon activities.

Prem on the other hand wanted to see how Heer reacted around him. He knew about her allegiance but she did not know about his true allegiance. In Prem's opinion that would give him, significant advantage whiles they would both work together in future Telon projects.

He would give her small hints that, he was sympathetic to resistance, and that might lead her to recruit him into the resistance.

Prem knew the resistance movement at large would love to have a Telon protector as their spy. Telon protector had many privileges and intelligences that could be essential for preventing various Telon activities.

Besides that, Prem also felt an unknown attraction towards Ms. Heer Maan. He was feeling fascinated by her.

Prem found her so much beautiful. He knew he did not have any practical knowledge about opposite sex and human romantic relationship but he realized he felt an unknown desire of her. In Prem opinion, she was the perfect woman who blessed with natural beauty.

Prem not only attracted towards her because of her physical beauty but also for her leadership quality, her impressive personality and her great mind which made her one of the leading businesses woman of the great state of New York and head of New York branch of resistance movement.

Prem was sure that, they would have several intellectual conversations with her.

"Sir, Ms.Maan is here." The employee informed him. Prem turned around and saw a beautiful south Asian woman was standing in front of him.

Prem found her more beautiful when he first time saw her in person. He saw determination and confidence in her face and that was in his opinion made her more beautiful.

Nevertheless, at the same time Prem realized that, Heer mainly came here to evaluate him. She wanted to see what his ideological motivations were. Prem also knew Heer had several questions about his identity and he had to give somewhat decent answers of those questions.

Heer also felt something different when she first time saw Prem in person. In her mind, he looked more handsome in person and he was obviously looking dashing in his black coat, white shirt, blue tie, and black pant.

When Heer looked at Prem, she not only saw his very handsome face but also saw signs of intelligence, confidence in that, she had no doubt that her meeting with Major Prem Juneja would be an interesting experience for her.

She decided to start her evaluation of Major Prem Juneja that moment. According to his file, Prem Juneja was a second generation Indian American, and Heer wanted to see his culture of greetings. Therefore, she decided to say namste to Prem.

However, Prem had another idea and he was planning to play completely assimilated an American patriot card who no longer identified with anything culturally Indian card. Prem knew that would put Heer off guard and it would also able him to answer Heer's upcoming questions More effectively.

Prem put forward his hand to handshake and signaling her, he was culturally American.

"Hello, Ms. Maan, welcome here and please you have no need to say namste or any other greetings. I am an American Born USA army veteran, I identify as simply American, and my parents raised me to be a culturally American. As an American veteran I only identified with this great country and I don't like when other people wants to treat me as something other." Prem told her in a determined voice.

As expected, Prem's response was able to put Heer in off guard position. She did not think that Prem would react so strongly on that simple gesture.

"I have no intention to do that and as a fellow American citizen I respect you for your service to this great country.

However, I think one can be an American patriot without forgetting his/her roots." Heer told Prem in a confident voice.

Prem was impressed by Heer's response. He knew his statement had shock effect on Heer but he was still impressed after seeing how quickly she recovered and skillfully expressed her criticism and at the same time praising him for his services to United States Army.

"Yes, one should not forget his root, but Ms. Maan you should know that, the definition of root varies person to person. For me my root starts from where I born. The thing I love about this country is America is not an ethno national or religious state. An American can look like anything.

It is a melting pot. In US army we learned one thing very clearly our skin color may be pale, tan, brown, yellow, black or anything between those colors our heart beats only for star and strip. "Prem told her. He was very much enjoying his argument with Heer and he knew by engaging her in an ideological debate, he was successfully distract her from asking him anymore hard question.

"As an American I think we have many thing to be proud of, but we can't discount there was a dark chapter in our country's history where people discriminated because of their ancestry."Heer remarked.

"Yes, this country had a bad past but as a nation, as a people we come long way to rectify that. I know this country because this country embrace my parents, give them a opportunity to become citizen and give them liberty to live as a couple when relatives of my parents who still lives in my parents birth country did not provided the same liberty.

.Yes there is still some problem but we will not be able to solve this by dividing American people by their ethnicity, religion, gender or so called race. I do not like identity politics Ms. Maan, as it only divides people into different tribe and my parents taught me three things my race is human and my ethnicity as American and humanity is my religion.

Therefore, from childhood I protested when some people wanted to put me into a tribe.

People identified me as South Italian,Turkish,Armenian,Georgian,Spainish,Portugese,East European, Askanazi Jew,Heridi Jew,Arab,Baber,Kurd,Persian,Uzbeck,Light skinned mestizo, mestizo,Mexican,Central American,Puetricn,Brazilian, Columbian,Chillian, 1/8Black, Half hispanic-half white, half white-half east asian,Half white-half south asian, and among south asian ethnicity people identified me as Pathan,Punjabi,Sindhi,Baloch,Jaat,Gujrati,Rajasthani,UP,Marahati,Oriya,Bihari,Bengali,Assamese,South Indian etc.

I protested against all of these labels, and it was one of the main reason I joined US army where people from all spheres of the American life joins the army." Prem commented. He observed he was able to put Heer Maan in defense.

"I also believe there is only one human race, but we also can't ignore ground reality where people are differentiated by their looks. We should also never disrespectful about our heritage." Heer told Prem.

"If you keep dividing yourself in different tribes and identity and forget about your basic identity as human then we will never able to change the reality.

My father was Punjabi upper caste Hindu and my mother was Parsi. When they fell into love they were rejected and disown by both of their family. My father family was orthodox and my mother family was same.

My parental grandfather, granduncle, uncle, aunt never accepted that my father married a lady from different ethnicity, different so called racial origin and different religion.

My parental grandfather disown my father, prevented him from entering the ancestral temple. All of my parental uncle and aunt had shown their back to my father.

My mother family was also same. An orthodox parsi family and they were very much against my mother marrying a non parsi, according to my maternal grandfather by doing this my mother bought eternal shame and disgrace to their family. My mother got disowned by her family and she was banned from entering any fire temple.

Both of my parents were higher educated and they got visas of USA in mid 70 and then gradually became citizen.

My parents were hurt by their relative's behavior, they waited that one day their family would embrace them and even when they died, no relatives came to their last rite. I performed both Hindu and Parsi funeral of my parents.

Because of their painful experiences my parents told me how to give utmost importance to my human identity and be always loyal to this great country and I learned their lesson carefully."Prem told Heer.

Prem knew that, by telling original Prem Juneja's family history that was not available into any database due to brilliance of Auger's hacking he was able to confuse Heer's mind more. He also at the same time give Heer chance to come into various conclusions about the reason behind his light skin phenotype and she would never able to directly question him about this anymore.

As he strongly told her he dislikes, when people wanted to make him a member of a tribe and he give more importance to human identity.

Prem also believe by telling her so much about his ideological believe on the importance of human race would also send a signal to her about how much he cared about human identity, how he was proud of his human identity.

Prem knew Heer would now try to make him more sympathetic towards resistance cause as Prem believed that, Heer would now thought a person who give so much importance to humanity and human identity above all would definitely receptive of resistance message and join the movement when he learned about Telons sinister plan against human.

At the end, Prem thought it would be too much fun when he would work with Heer. However, he would soon find that, how Heer Maan would put him in difficult situation to further test him.

After all, it was not easy to convince Iron Lady of New York business community whom known as Ms. Heer Maan.
