because she decided to get herself killed along with her husband rather than protecting her daughters. in that accident, if she want she could have escape with the help of nihal. she just came to know what a big cheat daljeet and balwant are. and how innocent heer and meher are. if she think for once what will happen to heer and meher if they both leave this world..she wouldnt have let herself killed. which mother will do it? thats why a big thump down for tej
