Prem entered the room. He sat holding his head without knowing how to move further. Prem felt Heer absence in the room is good for him to think for a while. Rishab's words and Gay3's happiness confused him more. Except me all seems to be getting ready to adjust this new situation. what about Ash? what is her state? What did he decided on this? Without knowing any answer for all these he decided to call her to get her side of response. He looked at his mobile. He is confused 'whether to call Ash or not?' he scratched his jaw thinking again about giving a chance about Rishab words and his mothers happiness about getting Heer as her bahu. He took his mobile 'i need to tell this to Ash, so that she won't be expecting me to take sudden decision.' He is confused 'Rishab and Heer agreed to obey to my decision. But about Ash? she is very traditional like ma. Will she agree to divorce Rishab?' he is not able to come to any guesses even though he claimed knowing her well. His mobile rings as he is swinging in confusion.
He looked at the name flashing on it. He attended the call with a happy smile 'hi ash.' Ash 'hi Prem. I need to talk to you.' Prem 'i too wanted to talk.' Ash 'that is called made for each other.' Prem 'okay tell me.' Ash 'is Heer there?' Prem 'no. i'm alone in my room. Heer is gone somewhere.' Ash 'she likes to roam around. she never stays at home. She will empty your bank balance in a week.' Prem found her statement contradictory as his mother already told about her calling Sanju to take Heer out of the house. Prem changed the subject 'forget it Ash. why you called me?' Ash 'ha Prem. i met a lawyer and spoke about divorce.' Prem is shocked 'what?' Ash 'why are shocked Prem? i can't live without you. that is why i took this decision.' Prem 'but' his mind processed 'how can she go to lawyer house very next day of her marriage. Ash words brought him back to reality 'Prem, listen he is saying we need to live like this for more than 6 months.' Prem 'i know.' Ash 'but there is another way.' Prem 'way?' Ash 'you need to prove Heer unfit.' Prem 'unfit for what?' Ash 'for marriage' Prem 'how?' Ash 'unfit to get pregnant. I'll prove Rishab mentally ill.' Prem is shocked 'no Ash it is not good. That will spoil Heer and Rishab's future.' Ash 'i'm thinking about us. you are thinking about Rishab and Heer.'
Prem 'Ash, we can wait for 6 more months. After that we can decide.' Ash 'what? 6 months? living with Rishab is not possible. I hate others calling Mrs. Rambal. I always dreamt calling as Mrs. Juneja.' Prem 'i understand. But proving unfit will create so much pain between two families.' Ash 'who cares about Heer and Rishab after divorce. we can go separate.' Prem 'Heer is your sister. Rishab is our business partner. We have to face them.' Ash 'we go to some other country. So that i won't be having connection with Heer. you break business ties with Rambals' Prem is shocked to hear this. He managed to reply when Ash called his name again. Prem 'how can you go away from your parents.' Ash 'Prem, they are not my real parents. Who cares about them.' Prem is shocked 'They are one who gave you everything.' Ash 'they did all these to get my share of property. I need to get my share first.'
Prem didn't feel comfortable. He wanted to disconnect the line. He felt Ash has another side of her character which is more dangerous. He is not happy about breaking ties with Rambals. He is very much confused about Ash words. 'Ash, what ever. I'm against this unfit concept. I cannot see Junejas and Rambals breaking up. Reason for taking Heer is to strengthen our friendship in next generation.' Ash 'then what is the solution.' Prem 'don't know.' he didn't think for a second. He himself is surprised by his decision. He disconnected the saying 'currently i don't have option other than living with Heer for next 6 months. bye'
Prem kept the mobile down. He is totally shattered by Ash words. He thought 'how did i think Ash is exactly my mother. She is talking about breaking ties with Chachu.' He ran his fingers through hair 'she don't have any respect on Bapuji and ma. She forgot the things they have to done to her after her parents death.' He got up 'is that mean Heer and Parents are behind Ash property.' He shook his head 'no chance. If so, they could have killed Ash instead of giving her happy life.' He found hard to believe what he heard from Ash mouth.
He decided 'first i need to go away from this situation for a while. Staying in India is very difficult as i have to face Ash everytime.' He started thinking of moving away from this country for a while. Analysing several things about business he tried to find out a way to get out of the country. He came to conclusion. 'only option is going to US for 6 months to take over their new business partnership deal with Malhotra.' Juneja's and Rambals started their aboard business with Malhotra in US. Lalit or Roy is supposed to go there to start the joint venture. Now Prem decided to go there to come out of all these happening. He needs a change now. He decided to divert his mind more into business. He decided 'i have to ask dad about this.' He got up. 'let me discuss this with dad.' He is about to walk towards the door, Heer entered the room.
Prem passed her and walked out without looking at her face. Heer went to keep her handbag and decided to go to washroom. Prem who walked to staircase thought 'will ma ask me to take Heer with me? am i stupid to take Heer with me?' he stood for a while processing again about taking Heer with him. He wants to be ready with an answer if his dad and ma place such suggestion.
Heer removed her dupatta and went to washroom. After washing her face she came back. She grabbed her duppata. She came out of the room. She didn't notice Prem standing near the staircase lost in his own thoughts. She threw the duppatta around her neck. While she swing the clothe it landed on Prem's head. Same time he was about to keep his step ahead dashed on Heer who was near him. He couldn't see her because of duppatta on his face. the clash made Heer to lose her balance. The dupatta also came away from his face. Before Heer put her unbalanced step on the next step, Prem held her by holding her waist. Heer quickly 'Sorry.' Prem let her go without replying anything. He too stepped down behind her silently. Both didn't think anything about the clash.
In the hall, Lalit having fun with pet dog. Gay3 is instructing to servants about arranging table for lunch and evening snacks. Gay3 came out of kitchen 'Lalit, come we'll have lunch.' Lalit 'what about Prem and Heer.' Gay3 saw them coming down 'they are coming.' Lalit got up instructing the dog to go to its place. Lalit and Gay3 settled either side of the dinning table. Prem sat in his usual place. Heer sent the servants and started serving. Gay3 didn't tell anything as she wanted this to happen. She only instructed servants to serve to see Heer's reaction. Gay3 very well know Prem won't like if servants serves him food. He always wants his mother to serve him. Gay3 wanted to see Prem's reaction for Heer serving food to them. Lalit was really happy to see Heer taking up Gay3's place to serve food.
Prem waited until Heer finish her serving. Heer settled next to Prem. Prem decided to discuss the matter. Prem 'dad, i'm thinking of going to US for 6 months.' Gay3 never interferes in business matter kept quiet. Heer too silently observing Prem's words. Lalit 'why Prem? you stay here. I'm going for 6 months. Then Roy will go. after that you both can manage from here.' Prem 'dad, i need a change of place.' Lalit thought for a while 'okay. you go. i'll inform Kishore about your visit.' Prem happily 'thanks dad.' Lalit looked at Heer 'Heer, you have Passport?' Heer 'ha dad.' Lalit 'i'll ask our manager to start the process for Heer's Visa.' Prem agreed. Lalit 'Heer, after finishing your lunch you give the passport to Prem.' Heer 'it in my mother's house. In hurry i forgot to bring it.' Prem 'you go and get that today evening.' Heer 'i'll ask dad to sent it to us in the evening.' Prem 'why?' Heer didn't reply.
Gay3 'Prem, a girl should not go alone to her mother's place after her marriage. Atleast for few months.' Prem 'its old tradition.' Gay3 'everything has some meaning.' Prem 'i need to prepare.' Gay3 interrupted 'when Heer goes there all the neighbours will ask about you only. She will feel uncomfortable. She grew up there. neighbours too want to see her happy face after so much happening.' Prem not interested in listening another lecture on that subject 'okay ma. I'm going.' Gay3 and Lalit are happy. Heer is happy too since Prem didn't say that word in any anger or hate.
Geet is arranging table for lunch. Rishab came in. Roy sat in the table disconnecting a call in his mobile. Rishab without any word sat next to him. Geet 'Rishab, you call Ash.' Rishab 'where is she?' Geet 'she is upstairs.' Roy 'Go Rishab.' Rishab went to call Ash. Geet looked at Roy who is giving disappointed look to Geet. Geet 'she will be okay in few days. Give her sometime.' Roy 'i don't think so.' Geet 'why?' Roy 'today morning she met a lawyer to discuss about divorce.' Geet 'how do you know that?' Roy 'without knowing he is our legal advisor, she met him. He informed me just now.' Geet 'i'm wondering what way she resembling Gay3?' Roy 'she must have cheated Prem with some traditional attitudes.' Geet 'we need to advice her. Otherwise she will bring our name to headlines.' Roy 'me too worried about that.'
Rishab entered the room. He saw Ash sitting on the bed lost in deep thought. Ash is worried about Prem disconnecting line abruptly. Rishab 'Ash, come and have lunch.' Ash 'i'm not hungry.' Rishab 'you can't starve until you stay in this house.' Ash looked at him confusingly. Rishab 'I know what you are planning. You stay normal atleast for the sake of my parents. All are in shock. Don't think only you are unhappy. All are trying to adjust to the change.' Ash 'i can't put up any drama. I want divorce from you.' Rishab 'i'm ready to give divorce. will Prem also do the same?' Ash 'he will.' Rishab 'even if he is ready to divorce Heer, the has to be together for few months.' Ash 'i know.' Rishab 'till then you to have to be here. So come now to have lunch.' Ash thought 'its true i can't stay without eating.' She went down to join Rambals for lunch.
Teji shouted 'Balraj' Balraj 'why are you shouting like this? You don't even prepare proper food to eat. Suddenly from where you got so much strength.' He searched for Teji and found her in kitchen. Teji busy checking some tins in the kitchen and scribbling something on a paper. Balraj 'arrey what are you doing?' he is confused whether his wife gone to depression after swapping marriage incident. Teji gave the piece of paper into his hand 'go fast and get all these.' Balraj read the paper 'looks like we have guest.' Teji 'ha ha Heer and Prem are coming.' Balraj 'what?' Teji 'just now Gay3 called and informed. Balarj is still not able to believe 'what you said?' Teji repeated happily 'our Heer and Prem are coming for dinner.' She pushed him 'go fast and get all these things.' Balraj happily is it?' he rushed out to buy things for dinner.
Heer wore a simple yet grand salwar. She filled her maang with sindoor. She put her mangalsutra. She smiled looking at her red and white golden bangles. She checked herself in the mirror. She saw Prem still trying to find one shirt to wear. He is pushing shirts from this side to other side and again other to this side. Heer didn't offer help fearing any small uncomfortable scene will spoil their visit to her mother's place.
To her surprise, Prem showed two shirts to her 'Heer, which one to wear?' Heer looked at both and shook her head negatively. Prem 'not nice.' He turned back to closet. Heer walked to him 'can I check yours?' Prem stepped back 'ha.' She scanned through his shirts and took out a shirt. 'ha this will do.' Prem handed shirts in his hand to her before taking the shirt from her hand. she placed it neatly inside and closed the closet. Prem dressed up gathered his wallet and mobile. Prem walked ahead 'shall we move.' Heer 'ha.' She happily followed him.
Prem and Heer came to Balraj house. Barlaj and Teji welcomed them warmly. Prem settled in hall with Barlaj. Teji served him some cold drinks. She took Heer with her to kitchen. Teji 'are you happy beta?' Heer is sensing what her mother is asking 'he needs time ma. He is okay.' Teji 'act wisely beta. Don't make him angry.' Heer shook her head 'he is not bad ma.' Teji agreed 'ya. That is why i'm telling you to be loving and caring with him.' Heer 'ha ma. We are going to US for 6 months.' Teji 'this is also good. You both will get time to understand each other.' Heer 'you don't worry ma. I'm happy.' Teji 'i can see that in your face beta. Even then i'm worried about.' Heer interrupted 'Rishab will manage Ash.' Teji 'Ash is a very tough girl to handle.' Heer 'ma forget that. i need my passport.' Teji 'it is in our closet. You take it.' Heer went to her parents room. Teji with a relieved mind went to finish her cooking.
Balraj is talking to Prem about Heer childhood days. Barlaj 'Heer won't allow even a hurt dog. She brings everything home and treats it.' Prem smiled. Prem looked at the trophies arranged in a shelf. Balraj 'all are Heer's. she is first in everything. Studies, games, speech and every competition she is first.' Prem saw some old fashioned framed photos hanging on the wall. Some had Heer as a child in some fancy dress competition. Heer is with Parents and Ash. First time he is looking around the house. When he previously came here, Ash never allowed him to look around. only twice he came. All the other time they met her outside only. As he continued scanning the wall, a picture of couple caught his eyes. he pointed the picture 'Bapuji, who are they?' Balraj 'he is my younger brother and his wife. They died long back in an accident.' Prem 'oh. When?' Balraj 'Ash was around 3 year old that time.' Prem 'oh.' Barlaj 'we never thought Ash as my brother's daughter.' he smiled 'we brought her up as our own daughter. but she was always insecure. So we always make sure Ash gets what she wants.' Prem thought Ash word about leaving everyone just because they are not her own parents. Balraj 'Beta, Heer will sacrifice anything for Ash.' Prem smiled thinking 'so there is no need for any drama. Automatically Heer will give me divorce after 6 months.'
Prem and Heer are returning after having dinner with Barlaj and Teji. Both are silent. Prem mobile rings. Rishab name flashed. Prem 'ha Rishab.' Rishab 'Prem, where are you?' Prem 'i'm on the way to home. We went to get Heer's passport from her house. Anything important.' Rishab 'ha, i preponed a meeting tomorrow morning.' Prem 'why?' Rishab 'dad told me to do so. Chachu and dad wants us to finalise that deal. So i thought of finishing it before you leave to US.' Prem 'what time?' Rishab 'evening 3.' Prem 'okay i'll be there.' Rishab 'okay good night.' Prem 'good night.'
Rishab turned and saw Ash staring at him. Rishab 'why are you looking like that?' Ash 'is Prem outside?' Rishab calmly 'ha. He went to your house to take Heer's passport.' Ash 'why he went there? why can't Heer go alone there?' Rishab ignored her question and sat in the couch checking his laptop 'you and your stupid questions'. Ash 'why he went with her?' Rishab smiled 'Ash this is too much. don't think you can guide Prem. he never likes it. especially he is not a guy dancing to girls tunes.' Ash 'he will listen to me.' Rishab 'love and marriage are different. While loving all will dance to lovers tunes. After marriage everything will change. that is reality.' Ash got angry.
Prem sat leaning his head on the back after changing into kurta. Heer changed into her night suit came out of washroom. She saw Prem leaning back closing his eyes. Heer 'are you okay Prem?' Prem opened his eyes 'ha.' He sat straight 'bring your passport?' Heer came to Prem with passport. He took passport from her hand 'as soon as you get the visa, we need to leave. So start packing up required things for you.'
Prem 'you sit here.' He moved a bit away in the couch, so that she can sit next to him. He opened his laptop. He already told her to take required photos and everything. He asked for few papers before she sat next to him. Prem started feeding some data. In between he asked some question regarding her DOB and details. Heer understood he is asking her everything to maintain a conversation as he has all the details in his hand.
Prem 'mostly day after tomorrow morning sharply at 9 we should be in US embassy. So be ready. I'll confirm the timings tomorrow.' Heer shook her head. He started checking the supporting document required for the visa process.
Next day Prem and Lalit went to office in the morning. Heer spent her time with Gay3. Lalit returned in the afternoon. But Prem didn't returned until late night. Lalit said after deal confirmation they will have small party. Gay3 said Prem won't have dinner at home. Lalit, Gay3 and Heer had dinner together.
Heer went to her room. She decided to read to keep herself awake until Prem returns. From morning Ash called Heer several time in her mobile. Heer was downstairs with Gay3. She didn't take her mobile with her. She didn't feel like checking it as she never gets call in her mobile. Sanju and Maya always calls her in landline in her mother's house. Same way Sanju called her in landline. Maya is out of station. Mother and father too spoke to her morning. So Heer didn't feel checking her mobile. She heard her mobile ringing.
Heer saw Ash call. Ash shouted as soon as Heer attended the call 'can't you have the habit of calling back if you see missed calls.' Heer 'sorry Ash. i didn't check my mobile today.' Ash 'answer me. why you went to your home with Prem yday?' Heer 'i went to take my passport. Prem came with me.' Ash 'why?' Heer is little angry 'because he is my husband.' Ash 'don't dream.' Heer 'i'm not dreaming. Its truth.' Ash 'just for few months. I spoke to Prem. He too agreed.' Heer got full angry 'even for that few months he is my husband. I'm his wife' She disconnected the line.
Heer is angrily staring at her mobile when Prem entered the room. Seeing angry Heer 'what happened?' Heer 'nothing.' Prem 'why are you staring at mobile?' Heer 'wrong call.' Prem 'had your dinner?' Heer 'ha. What about you?' Prem 'ya i had. You sleep. Tomorrow morning we should leave early to US embassy.' Heer 'good night.' Prem 'good night.' He went to washroom to change. Heer closed her eyes thinking 'he is behaving better than y'day.' Few minutes later Prem settled on the other edge of the bed and switched off the lights.
Two days went like a wink. Heer is not interested in shopping. But Gay3 took Heer for shopping. Gay3 also called Sanju so that Heer will be comfortable. From shopping to packing Gay3 and Sanju helped Heer. Lalit and Gay3 thought their stay alone in different nation will bring them together.
Sanju hugged Heer 'All the best Heer. have nice time with Prem.' Heer 'i'm scared Sanju.' Sanju 'don't worry Heer. in 6 motnhs everything will change.' Heer 'hope so.' Sanju 'i'll be waiting for the day you come out of airport holding Prem hand.' Heer smiled 'he may be carrying me.' Sanju 'then i won't miss the chance to capture that sweet moment. I'll be surely waiting in airport to see that million dollar worth scene.' Both laughed and hugged between joyful tears.
Prem and Heer are waiting in lounge for boarding the plane. Heer reading a book she brought it to read in the plane. Prem making his last minute calls. Gay3 called Prem. Gay3 'immigration over Prem?' Prem 'ha ma. We are waiting for boarding.' Gay3 'Heer is near you.' Prem 'ha ma.' Gay3 'give the phone to her.' Prem gave the mobile to Heer 'ma wants to talk to you.' Heer took the phone. Prem went to restroom. Gay3 was advising Heer to be calm even if he gets angry. Heer agreed 'i'll try ma.' Gay3 'beta, Prem is very sensitive. This is the time for you both to understand. Understand the situation. he is not a tough boy to accept the reality.' Heer understood 'okay ma.' After few more advises about Prem's likes and dislikes she disconnected the line. Heer started reading her book.
Prem mobile rings. Heer looked at the flashing name on it. Heer is confused whether to attend the call or not. She stared at the mobile for a while. Ring stopped. Heer continue reading thinking she will inform it to Prem when he comes back from restroom. But within second again Ash call came. Heer don't know what to do. she decided to attended the call to inform her about Prem not around. as soon as Heer said 'halo' Ash barked on the other side 'what the hell you are doing with Prem's mobile.' Heer 'he is gone to restroom.' Ash 'why he left the phone with you.' Heer didn't like the way Ash asked the question. Heer 'call him after few minutes.' She disconnected the line. Heer internally burning in anger thinking 'even if Prem accepts me, Ash won't allow him to do that.'
Prem returned. He sat next to Heer asking 'what did ma told?' Heer 'nothing.' Prem 'then why are you angry?' Heer 'me angry. No.' she gave the mobile to Prem saying 'Ash called now.' Prem 'that is why you are angry?' Heer 'she is asking unnecessary question.' She opened her book again and continued her reading. Inside her heart she is praying Prem should not call Ash.
As Heer prayed Prem didn't call Ash. he put the mobile in his pocket sat stretching his leg. He closed his eyes 'Heer keep an eye on that board to know the gate number of our flight.' Heer shook her head 'okay.' Heer is happy but only for few minutes. Prem mobile rings again. Heer looked at Prem. Prem took the mobile and saw the name. He attended the call 'ha Ash. tell me.' Ash shouted 'why you gave the mobile to Heer?' Prem 'why you called me?' Ash 'i want to talk to you.' Prem 'about what?' Ash 'when are you divorcing Heer?' Prem 'that we already discussed.' Ash 'i want to know the exact date Prem. so that i can also apply.' Prem 'currently i'm busy with my new partnership. I don't have time to think about anything. I want to forget everything for few months. I'll be concentrating only on business' He didn't wait for her response 'Boarding call given. Bye.' He disconnected the line. He also switched off the mobile.
Heer is not happy about his conversation with Ash. she is happy Prem will be concentrating only on his business. She felt it is good if he doesn't have any touch with Ash for next 6 months. But she is confused about what discussion they already had on this matter. Heer feared Prem taking her out of country could be just a drama to cheat his parents. She thought he may be planning to end up their relationship when they return home after 6 months on mutual understanding.
