Hrithik,Arjun,Sohail cheer for Abhishek

Abhishek Kapoor had three of his closest friends Hrithik Roshan,Arjun Rampal and Sohail Khan for company to unveil the trailer of Kai Po Che.The three friends showered heaps of praises on Abhishek,and also spoke a lot about the cast of the film.Sushant Singh Rajput and Amit Sadh were seen having a great time along with co-actor Amrita Puri.Producer Ronnie Screwvala said that the film is an ode to friendship.Joining the cast was Chetan Bhagat on whose book 3 Mistakes Of My Life the movie is based.The movie,produced by UTV Motion Pictures,releases on February 22,2013.

Sushant forced to turn down R2 cr offer

After the trailer of Kai Po Che! released on the net, Sushant Singh Rajput, along with costars Raj Kumar Yadav and Amit Sadh, started getting offers to perform at New Year bashes. An insider says they were offered R2 crore, but producers UTV Motion Pictures barred them from performing. "The makers believed it was too far ahead of the film's release for the cast to make a big public appearance," says the source.

The music of the film, composed by Amit Trivedi, has also not released yet. "So Sushant would have had to perform to songs from other films," says the source.

When contacted, Shikha Kapur, executive director marketing, Studios Disney UTV, says, "We are very happy with the response to the trailer, and we did receive a few co-promotion queries, but we will not pursue them because that's not the direction of our marketing campaign." The film is set to hit theatres on February 22.
