Yeah Lalit turned out to be one stubborn little rotten egg. Prem and Heer are already married and don't live with him, so all he could do was hurt them with his words. But Preet and Meher are a different story...It's pretty much Preet's fight...but it's a tough situation...because it is after all his father...Let's see what he does.

Preet is oh so innocent n in love nt to c malice of his father.. I liked the 'dharti ma ki kasam' n nice choice thin.. Dumbo that's y he chose meher..

Dharti Ma ki kasam was sort of Preet's takia kalam in Kis Desh.

Meher gud she was cautious of lalit bt to no anvil.. Wonder if u are r goinna include her telin preet he is bang on on rajveer..

I think Preet already knows.

Preet will hv lil though tym to calm meher.. Bt MEET woll win tru this m sure..

So my guess did come true.

I know eventually Preet will convince Meher and we'll have a nice happy ending, but I want to say that I really hate Lalit Juneja- not for what happened today (that seems to be a sincere confusion and I could see it coming), but rather for whatever he did to Meher- not telling her about Preet, Prem or Heer, not telling them about her, and wishing that she had died.

Perhaps we'll find out in the next update if this was a sincere confusion or another plan. Lalit is like one of those brick wall types...you know...it's my way or the highway. He's a good, calculated business man, but he does not know the ABC's when it comes to understanding his children.

Having said that, I don't think he ever wished Meher was dead. That was Daljeet's department. But yes he did wish she'd disappear from Preet Juneja's radar.

It was simply Meher's good luck that Preet and later Prem ran into her and eventually she reunited with her family, else Lalit Juneja was simply inhuman to her and left her to fate. If Lady Luck hadn't been kind to Meher she would have been alone and utterly broken down. Even on a humanitarian basis, Lalit had no consideration for her- never offered to help her when she came back.

🤔...Okay I don't like the guy very much right now either...but everyone seems to have missed something about Lalit.

I think Lalit Juneja is the one I dislike most in the story, yes Ashlesha's Mom is the bigger villain out there, but she was always expected to be villainish anyway, so that never affected me this much.

Really wish that Lalit was not Preet's father, so we could have a punishment for him- if Ashlesha and her Mom deserve bad to happen to them he deserves similarly too.

Sometimes I wish the story could end like Pride and Prejudice, wherein Darcy, a for a period of time broke relations with his Aunt.

This is the hardest part. Preet knows everything. He knows what his father did. He knows that his father knew about Meher and didn't tell anyone. His antenae should have gone up when his father so easily agreed to his marriage to Meher (of course Lalit never took her name). Lalit deserves to be punished...But how does one punish one's father and wind up with a happy ending? 😕

Thanks for the update Fatima. The fact that we feel for the characters and react strongly to them speaks of how good your story is. 👏

Yeah...it was pretty obvious that that was coming.

Hope Preet is able to stand up against his bauji this time... . I know ki Meet will be united par Lalit ka kuch zaroor kijiye... You just can't spare him...Lalit seriously deserves to learn a lesson and that too the bitter way...

As I said to Nikita...This is a tough one.😕 Let's see what happens.
