Yes, I am alive and well 😆 I have been so busy at work lately that I haven't had much time to spend on the forums.

First of I want to say Yippeee...you continued with your writing.

Second, this chapter was very good. As much as I enjoy the fact that Meher and Preet are enjoying their honeymoon I want to know what is going to happen to Prem and Heer 😳 What type of interactions will they be having. And this Ash thing 😵 why is she interfering? She's got her heart set on Prem only because of money...tsk-tsk. Well, she's going to get her heart broken.

Can't wait for the next chapter.

Chapter 11

Typed it all out on my phone and posted from there. Haven't been able to change the title but PMs has been sent to let people know. Enjoy reading :)

Heer entered through the large glass doors. She looked around. This wasn't just any type of building. This showed the hard work the owner had put into it. To make this far wasn't a piece of cake. You had to be determined and set your mind to go out and do this. She was highly impressed. She wasn't the type to like something instantly. You had to be special to catch her attention; and this surely had done so.

She walked towards the reception where a young middle-aged woman sat. She was hard at work. You could instantly tell by the way she was sitting and the way she started at her computer screen.

The receptionist looked up at her and smiled at her. This instantly reminded Heer of her mother. All of a sudden she wished she was back in India; but then this was for her future. She wanted to make a mark for herself. Maybe she would never get this opportunity again. This could be her one and only chance. She had to make the most of it and she will. She won't let anything get in the way. After she's done with her education she can spend as much time with her family as she wants. No one would be there to stop her. For the happiness in the future she would face the grief of being away from
everyone now. It couldn't be that hard.

" How can I help you dear?" Asked the receptionist.

"Im Heer Mann, I had applied for a job here. I have an interview at 2:30pm" Heer replied.

"Let me just confirm that for you and let the boss know about your arrival" she told her as she turned to her computer and then picked up the phone to let the PA know. " Yes I see you at 2:30pm please take a seat dear you will be called when the time comes"

Heer thanked the receptionist and went and took a seat. She was nervous she didn't know who her boss would be - that is if she got the job. She was hoping and praying that she got it. This was a huge opportunity and she did not want to lose it. She had to make the most of it and she will. This was her first step to success. Once she was successful her she would gain the confidence to do anything.

Prem sat in his cabin. He had only returned 2 days back and he was already sitting here interviewing new people for the post of his PA. his old one was pregnant and she needed maternity leave. She wouldn't be gone for over a year and in that time Prem needed someone who could fill in for her. So many girls had come and gone but none of them had suited his requirements. He hated to say no to someone but this was important and he needed someone who was mature and responsible. Also someone who could keep up with him. It wasn't easy and he needed to be sure
that he picked the right person.

He picked up his blackberry to check his messages. He went through his texts and saw a message from her. Ever since he had come back from India she had Insisted they go on a date to make up for the time they had missed together.

She was not only his business partner but also his best friend. Her dad had helped his when they had first moved to the UK. She was a daddy's princess since her mother had died when she was born; her father had refused to
re marry and had devoted all his
time to handling his business and her.

Both the families were good friends and seeing the friendship between Prem and her they had decided that they should marry. He was happy with them dating for now. Although they had known each other for so long there was still so much they didn't know and it would be best if they knew now rather then after the wedding happened. After all they were to be together for the rest of their lives.

He leaned back on his chair and took a deep breath. Today was going to be a long day. He waited for the next person to enter. Deep down somewhere he had a feeling that this was it. The next person was going to be different. May his next PA?

Meher and Preet stood at the seine river in France. They had seen a bridge where people would write the name of their friends or loved ones on the bridge and throw the key over into the water. This was something special because even if the people were no longer together the lock with their name would always remain.

" Preet we should write out names too" said a smiley Meher. " Even if we are not here in this world the lock with our name will always remain"

Preet smiled "I don't see why not. Sounds like a great idea and in the future when we bring little Meher and little Preet to Paris on a family vacation we can show it to them"

"Let's not go that far just yet Preet" Meher giggled the she was beginning to blush and she knew if Preet spoke any further she would be more red then a tomato.

Both of them walked towards the young man who was handing out the keys and locks to people. Once they had it they wrote their names on it and went ahead to lock it. They closed their eyes and threw it into the water. No matter what happens Preet and Meher would always be together. No matter what.

They had so much to know about each other but it felt like they had known each other for eternity. They didn't have to talk and the other knew what was on their mind. Maybe this was the connection her mother always spoke of.

" Miss Heer you may proceed to see the boss" the receptionist notified Heer.

This was it. She stood up and she was shown the way to the cabin. She had a feeling that everything would go just fine and that she was worrying for no reason. She had confidence in herself and she knew that this was going to be start of something new...

Hahaha I didn't reveal the name of the 'girl' in Prems life. You must have guessed that its obviously not Heer but someone else. And yeah don't judge the girl yet she hasn't even made an entry. Who knows she maybe the one to destroy these two lovers or she maybe the one to bring them together. Now this lies in my hands and I have decided. You'll find out soon now when soon is I don't know.

It's been a long time. Thank you for the update.

I wish I could be on the forum and hang out like old times but alas work has taken up all my time

Miss you loads!

And I'll try to keep myself from saying mean and nasty things to this other girl in Prem's life 😆 ...but if she turns out to be evil and mean and wants to tear Prem and Heer apart...well, I will not spare her from getting pans from me and she will get flatten like this
