Two days later

Prem: I really appreciated you coming over here Heer (gave a brief pause just staring at her wondering how to say in front of Pihu) You...you're always welcome here Heer and would love to see you again soon.

Heer: I thank you Prem for all your hospitalities. Aapne hamare liye jo kiya wo bohat hai.

Prem:(kept staring at Heer with longing to not let her go but was helpless) I only did what my heart told me and you're aware of what my heart thinks (again both didn't know what to say to each other) Okay have a safe journey and I'll call you soon

Prem held Heer's hand and they talked with their eyes. Pihu observed it and smiled at their camaraderie. She had surely noticed something had stirred between them over the days of their stay and she was very happy for Heer.

Then the driver drove off and Prem and Heer kept staring at each other until they disappeared out of the gate.

Anurag watched from his room window as they departed.

Nupur: finally I get some space to myself again (noticed Anurag staring out) But it seems like you would certainly miss them rather too much Anurag. Especially Pihu ka ukhar ke tumhe jawaab dena or khaas karke oskee "enchanting" aakhe.

Anurag: It's quite opposite on the contrary

Whilst his brain was telling him that, his heart was saying something else. It was easy to convince Nupur but it wasn't easy to convince himself.

Few days later

Maan Niwas

The family were all in the hall

Lalit: Daljeet tumhe Ritesh Basu to yaad hai na?

DJ: Oh how could I forget him (unpleasant expression) The one man who would be responsible for snatching away everything from us once you've left us (became distressed overdramatically) How much I hate that man

Lalit:I'm afraid, Daljeet you'll have to put your differences aside for a few days because Ritesh Basu would apparently be living with us for a while.

All the girls moaned especially Pihu as she hated the very sight of him.

DJ: Kya? (outraged) Abhi se sab kuch cheen lene ka irada hai kya?

Lalit:Just hear what it says in this email

He put his reading glasses on and read the printed email.

Lalit:Dear Sir, I'm sure all of you would be in the best of health as God is always grateful on good people. I know you must be surprised by receiving this email but I'm under the impression that there have been some unforeseen differences between us which now I wish to put aside and amend. You must be thinking how I came to such a decision and believe me it had been difficult as such decisions tend to take a long time to reach conclusions. I can't really tell you how fortunate my fate has been which has taken me to the doorsteps of the one and only great visioner Balraj Juneja. The one person who changed my life and helped me to take this sensible decision.

Veera snorted as she found Ritesh's expressions quite comical as no one in this world talked so posh but Lalit glared at her and she shut up again. He continued reading.

Lalit:ab onkee budhi or samjh daari ke kya phool baandhu me. I dearly respect him for the tremendous wisdom he has showered upon the most fortunate people. Onka sishya hone ke naate mera farz banta hai ke onka aashirwaad on sab ko pohochao jo sab mere rishte me aate hai. You can say I'm incredibly proud to have such an honour.

My whole aim is to make sure I pass on the wisdom given to me by his Excellency to all who need a lot of encouragement and improvement in their lifestyle. Something I know all your daughters would be requiring. Isliye me Maan Niwas Sunday subhe tak pohoch jaunga or waha aapkee aagya se pure saath din rukunga. I'd be leaving Windsor, London on Saturday evening and reach Mumbai on Sunday morning. It's my humblest request that you don't send the driver to receive me as I wouldn't want to inconvenience anybody. I'd take the taxi and definitely would reach your welcoming doorstep on time.

He finished reading and then looked at everyone.

Ashlesha: (appalled) Is he really coming here to teach us that crap?

Veera: Who the hell gave him the right to say all that about us?

DJ:ab tum dono bekaar me ghussa mat ho (pursed her lips with disappointment) Let him come then we'll see.

On Sunday morning all of them were getting ready for Ritesh's arrival. Maan Niwas had been cleaned and decorated for his welcome

Pihu's room

She was searching everywhere for her blue stoned bracelet but couldn't find it

Heer: Kya huwa Pihu?

Pihu: (upset) Have you seen my favourite bracelet, I've searched everywhere

Heer: You must have displaced it somewhere (helped her to search) why are you getting so distressed?

Pihu: Heer wo meree favourite bracelet hai kyu ke wo bohat unique hai. You know how much I love wearing it all the time.

Heer:Acha? (teasing tone) lagta hai Ritesh Basu ke liye kuch ziada hee saja jaaraha hai

Pihu: Kya? (made an irritating expression) me os langoor ke liye kyu tayaar hongee. I'm searching for the bracelet because I hardly take it off.

Heer: I know everything

Pihu: kya jaantee ho?

Heer: yehi ke aaj Ritesh ke to hosh hee urjaaenge

Pihu: Heer...(warning tone)

Heer kept teasing Pihu and she chased her around

Juneja's residence

Anurag sat drinking coffee in the study when the servant came inside

Servant: Good morning Sir. One of the cleaners found this in the guest room of your Khandala residence

He held up a rather beautiful bracelet in front of him

Anurag: (crossed look) Why are you showing it to me?

Servant: the previous guests were your guests sir. Miss Heer and Miss Priyamwada Maan

Anurag: Yeh tum jaake Prem ko dedo

Servant: (courteously) I'm sorry sir but you must have forgotten that Mr. Prem Juneja is currently absent from Mumbai and won't be returning for a further few days.

Anurag stared at the bracelet and took it from him.

Anurag: Fine you can leave this with me.

After the servant left Anurag kept staring at the bracelet and remembered noticing it on Pihu when she was in Khandala. He remembered how beautiful and innocent she had looked on that day with the rabbits and just got lost in her thoughts. He was not going to return the bracelet that soon.

Maan Niwas

Pihu: aapko kya lagta hai baoji. Would Ritesh Basu still be the man who had the habit of boasting all the time?

DJ: (had new set of information about Ritesh's wealth so positive vibes had begun towards him) I would say what's wrong with that after all he would be only displaying what he really is

Pihu: Per kya wo sach much samjhdaar or buddhi maan bangaye honge

Lalit:Pihu, mujhe to lagta hai ke aisa kuch bhi nahi huwa hoga

Just then there was a knock on the door and after opening Ritesh made his way into the hall

Lalit: Ahh Ritesh you're most welcome in Maan Niwas

Ritesh gave a goofy smile from which Heer and Pihu couldn't help but be amused

Ritesh: The pleasure is all mine. I can't tell you how much delighted I am to have made your aquaintance

The grin didn't disappear and then his over the top attiquettes made him amusing even more

Later at lunch

Ritesh was sitting next to Pihu to her misfortune. He often got confused between Heer and Pihu but this time he carefully made the right choice because he remembered that Heer's eyes were blue and Pihu's were brown.

Lalit: to Ritesh tum kuch ziada hee khush naseeb kehte ho apne aapko aajkal

Ritesh: Aah Balrajji Juneja kee baat hee kuch alag hai. (gave a dramatic sigh) No matter how fortunate I would call myself it still would be too less; too less indeed. Onkee kripyaho kee wajese hee to me yaha betha hu (gave a clown smile as he continued to eat) another thing which I consider myself to be extremely proud about would be that I've made myself so successful to be able to live right next to his grand estate. You know there is only a distance of a narrow lane between our two yards and people who've died to go and talk with him haven't had the pleasure of doing so (continued boasting as if there was nothing better than that) but I was very lucky enough to receive personal invitations from his greatness for dinner twice. Could you just imagine how fortunate that really is?

Lalit:Ha, bilkul (continued eating not very pleased)

DJ: Didn't you used to live in East London earlier so how did you make such a big revolution?

Ritesh:That also I owe to his graciousness as without him nothing would have been possible. If he wouldn't have had been kind enough to see the winner in me then today I wouldn't have had been in this high position. He had been so pleased with me that he literally gifted me the whole estate and that too right next to his (gave a snorted laugh) to ab me bhi Windsor me hee rehta hu (gave a strange smile towards Pihu who hated it and then he turned back to Daljit) You could just say I live with the great Balrajji Juneja himself.

Both Pihu and Heer were getting tired of his constant boasting

DJ: I vaguely remember about Mr. Balraj Juneja (her pretence snobbery took over) I know he is a very big well known business man and that he has two daughters to be exact

Ritesh:Do nahi aunty, ek hee baitee hai, per afsos logo ko onhe dekhne ka sobhagya nahi mila. I must inform all of you that there isn't anyone like her. Her beauty and intelligence can be stretched far and far and still it would be too less to compliment such a being as her's. Sach much puree dunya kee bad kismati hai ke onko koi nahi jaanta or naahi koi mila hai. The other one who lives with him is his niece Gauri Juneja, daughter of the late Shekhar Juneja.

Pihu remembered how Anurag was writing an email to her when she was in Khandala. Why did she live with her uncle?

Ritesh: With great pleasure I constantly praise her in every situation I can to make her known to the whole world (his geeky grin returned) It sure makes me popular with all the other beautiful ladies. Onkee taarif karne me mujhe safalta miltee hai

Veera made a face and was getting bored with Ritesh

Lalit: You truely are fortunate indeed (was still displeased and amused at the same time) Tell me does it take you a lot of effort to revise all these compliments beforehand or do they just simply come into that so called intelligent mind of your's?

Pihu couldn't help but snigger and she quickly covered her mouth to hide it

Ritesh:Wese to me hamesha osee waqt desakta hu per meree hamesha koshish rahee hai ke me wo saari taarife pehlese likh du jab bhi mujhe yaad aaye. Studying it all simply increases its beauty.

Lalit: wah kya baat hai (made fun of him)

Ritesh for some reason kept staring at Heer who had sat opposite and DJ noticed it and didn't appreciate it. She would have to talk to him.

Three days later

In the afternoon the family had a small picnic in a nearby park.

Veera and Ashlesha were as usual running around.

Mauli was as usual involved with her book

Pihu and Heer were chatting amongst themselves.

Ritesh was walking with DJ and observing them

Ritesh: I must tell you aunty all your daughters have turned out to be beautiful creatures.

DJ: Thank you, they all are very pretty girls I agree.

Ritesh:ha, (licked his lips) or sabse pyaari to Heer hee hai eventhough Priyamvada is exactly like her

DJ: Oh yes (proud) my twin girls are loved everywhere they go. And I'm very glad to say that Heer won't be staying in Maan Niwas for too long and would be engaged pretty soon.

Ritesh: acha? (a bit disheartened)

DJ: As for my other daughters (saw Ritesh was a bit upset so had to cheer him up) I can say none of them are fixed anywhere as such.

Ritesh smiled and then looked at all of the four girls. First at Ashlesha who he found too childish. Then at Veera who looked too troublesome. Then at Mauli who seemed quite dull and then at Pihu who seemed perfect. He had always admired her and now would be the perfect opportunity.

Veera:ma! Ma! I'd just found out from Sheila today in college that there is this huge shoe sale in the Oberoi mall (excited and pleaded as if there was nothing else left) Please can we go there? Please

DJ:theek hai. Ritesh kyu na tum bhi inke saath jao, it would be a great excursion for you too

Veera made a sullen annoyed face at Ashlesha as she didn't want him to come along

Ritesh: I would really love to (he walked towards Pihu) Would I have the great pleasure of gaining your company in this lovely trip Pihu?

She was confused about what to say so she just went along whilst Ritesh kept smiling like a clown. All of them walked out of the park together and hauled taxis.

Ritesh:Pihu, I heard you've got an uncle and aunty living in East London if I'm not wrong.

Pihu:Ji apne sahi suna hai (sarcastic smile) A place quite below your high standards I'm afraid.

Ritesh: I don't really think that way Pihu (opened the door of the taxi for her and then joined her) Now with the renewed wisdom I look at all creations of God to be equal

Pihu: (found it more amusing) then I must have read you wrong Ritesh and I apologise

Ritesh: Please you don't need to apologise. I'm truely a changed man and for the better.

They all got to the mall and just roamed around. Veera and Ashlesha were too excited and were misbehaving which they didn't realise obviously. They kept chasing each other crashing into half of the people and just creating hindrance. Due to their irresponsible behaviour, Veera didn't look where she was going and she crashed into a hand stall of costume jewellery. She fell onto the ground and cried out with pain. The owner glared at her and charged over her.

She as usual stood up and argued with him non stop. The owner became rough and bad mouthed her and Veera just lost her mind and bad mouthed him too. Pihu saw her immediately and ran to stop her.

Pihu: Veera! (She went and held onto her) what are you doing Veera have you got no self respect, aise khulle aam larahee ho. (turned towards the owner) Dekhye bhaisahab jo bhi huwa wo anjaane me huwa to ab hamara raasta choro

Owner: zaroor chore dunga. Pehle mujhe mere nuksaan ke paise do

Veera: (furious) What money? I didn't even ruin anything so just shove it up your...

Pihu: Veera! (was appalled with her audacity) just stop it. Look mister we're not paying anything

He continued to argue and Pihu did the same. Then he bad mouthed her too insulting them. Pihu was furious but didn't want to create a scene so looked around for help but her family members had disappeared somewhere.

Voice: Excuse me, but is that a way to talk with women?

Stunned by the voice the owner turned around to see who interrupted him. Pihu and Veera also looked up surprised to find a well built man standing confidently in front.

Owner: Who are you? (made a face) tum is maamle me mat paro warna theek nahi hoga

Voice: Acha? Agar tumne do minute me inse maafi nahi maangi to phir tumhaare liye sach me theek nahi hoga

Owner: I guess now only the police would set you all straight

Voice: Or me bhi kehraha hu (prevented the owner calling and then showed him a badge which made him awestruck) apologise to them then I would consider of not arresting you for harrasment.

The owner stared at the mysterious officer and became afraid. He apologised to Veera and Pihu and then put up his stall again.

Then the mysterious officer walked both Veera and Pihu from there.

Pihu:Aapka bohat shukriya

Voice: isme shukriya kis baat ka (smiled) it's my duty to take care of the lovely citizens.

Veera: (awed by him) That was so sweet of you

Heer: (came running towards them) Pihu! Veera! Hum sab tumhe kabse dhoondh rahe hai. I just saw the whole commotion, are you guys alright?

Pihu: We're just fine (looking towards the man) All thanks to this officer here

Heer also stared at the stranger with gratitude

Heer: Thank you so much officer...

Voice: (at first was startled by seeing the twins but then recovered soon) Oh I'm sorry (he put his hand out to shake their hands) I'm Officer Rishab Rampal, a respectable member of the Mumbai police department.

Heer:acha. Mera naam Heer hai or yeh chaaro meree behne hai (pointed towards each one) yeh hai Mauli, Ashlesha, Veera or yeh hai Pihu, meree judwa behen

Both Pihu and Rishab looked at each other in a friendly manner

Rishab:I'm truely happy to meet all of you. It's been a long time since I've come across a friendly encounter (delighted grin) So all you came for shopping?

Veera:ji ha or agar aap sahi waqt pe hame aake bachaate nahi to phir pata nahi kya hojaata

Rishab: mujhe or sharminda mat kijye. Wese bhi mera to kaam hai raksha karna

Pihu was quite impressed by his mannerisms.

Ritesh came and joined them

Heer: Ah, Rishab this is our friend Ritesh Basu. You must have heard about him.

Rishab:Ji nahi...me to maamoolee sa ek aadmi hu and don't have the luxury to meet all you VIPs.

The girls all stifled laughs as they knew he was mocking Ritesh

Heer: Well Mr. Ritesh Basu lives in London, Windsor and has come for a visit for a few days.

Ritesh:Yes and that too right next to the great Mr. Balraj Juneja.

Rishab just nodded. He was more interested in looking at the girls.

Ashlesha: (saw something in the distance and got excited) My God that is Prem Juneja and he's coming right here

All of them turned their heads and saw Prem crossing over the bridge to come towards them.
