Part 34

Morning, Aditi got up early. She took shower. She gave shower Chahat and fed her. She kept her in the crib. She kept alarm for Prem. She went back to her room to change. Prem opened his eyes when he heard alarm. He quickly took shower.

When he came out of the shower Aditi was readying Chahat. Prem dress for pooja was on the bed. Aditi is sitting on the bed. Chahat is lying before her. Aditi is showering Chahat with baby powder talking to Chahat. Chahat is making sound happily and kicking her legs in air. Prem is staring at them without their conscious. She dressed Chahat and kissed her cheek 'my angel ready for the pooja.' she nuzzled her nose on Chahat nose 'sweet girl. We'll wait here until papa comes.' She kissed her cheeks and got up from the bed.

She turned and saw Prem staring at them. She quickly turned away from him when she saw him standing wrapping only towel around his waist. 'I'm sorry . I didn't notice you.' she rushed to her room hugging Chahat.

Prem coming out of his world wore his kurta. Prem opened the door. Hearing Prem opening the door, Aditi followed him with chahat. They went downstairs together. Gaya3 smiled and came forward. Suddenly 'Heer, you wear your magalsutra.' Aditi is shocked. Gaya3 'you forgot keep sindoor too.'

Lady, who is standing a feet behind Gaya3 'When kids comes we'll forgot everything.' Gaya3 pat Aditi cheek 'go beta.'

Aditi confused for a second. Prem picking up Chahat from her hand whispered 'its on my dresser.' Aditi ran to his room found magalsutra inside a small box on his dresser. She took out and looked at for a second. Then she wore around her neck and took a pinch of sindoor and placed it on her maang.

Aditi rushed down. Prem busy talking to someone looked at Aditi for a second. Aditi in red saree and sindoor on her maang made Prem stop breath for a second. He was interrupted by another guest. All gathered for pooja. As Prem and Aditi did aarti, Prem was recollecting his moments with Heer on their wedding day. Prem bite his lips to control his tears.

After pooja all the men dispersed to their work. But ladies had some pooja for their husband's long life. So Gaya3 and Aditi were involved in that pooja. Prem is sitting alone with Chahat in the living room admiring Aditi doing pooja sincerily. 'why she is doing pooja for me?'

After the pooja all had lunch. Elders went to take rest. While Prem didn't feel like taking rest sat in the living room with sleeping Chahat in his hand. He is staring at her face. Aditi took Chahat from his hand 'you take rest. I'll take care of her.' Prem shook his hand and walked away to his room.

Aditi sat in the couch folding her legs on the couch. She kept Chahat on her lap. Stroking her hair she is staring at Chahat face. Chahat opened her eyes and smiled. Aditi kissed her cheek 'how are you my dear?' Chahat 'ha hu'. Aditi 'oh hungry. Come I'll give you milk.' She nuzzled her nose on Chahat. . Then she walked to her room.

In the evening, all were sitting in the living room and Chatting. Prem is reading a magazine and participate in the discussion now and then. Chahat is peacefully sleeping on Prem chest. Aditi is sitting with Gaya3 and discussing about morning Pooja. Lalit is enjoying his family. He improved lot after seeing Chahat. He started doing his work on his own. Prem is kissing Chahat on her forehead in between.

Daljeet entered with Ash. Gaya3 happily stepped forward to greet her 'hi DJ how are you?' DJ 'you forgot me. Thank God atleast you remembered my name.' Gaya3 introduced DJ to everyone 'my college mate. We are very close friends.' Lalit smiled. Gaya3 looked at Ash who is still standing near the door. 'who is that? if I'm correct she is Ash.' DJ 'yes. my daughter Ash.' When Prem heard Ash name he looked up from the chahat and turned to look at her.

Aditi is silent just watching the scene around her. Prem thought 'why Ash came here? She know about the contract.' He is lost in his thought of confusion. 'I'm in trouble now.'

Ash came forward and touched Gay3 feet. She touched Lalit feet. She looked at Prem and politely said 'hai, Prem.' Prem replied 'hi'

Gaya3 surprised 'how do you know Prem?' Ash 'we studied in the same college.'

Gaya3 'I didn't know that.' DJ 'you don't know many things.' She looked at Prem and Aditi. Gaya3 confused.

DJ 'Ash loved Prem but Prem refused her love and married' she pointed Aditi 'this girl on CONTRACT.'

Gaya3 and Lalit shocked. Gaya3 'contract? What do you mean?' DJ 'yes. he married her for one year. After that they are not husband and wife.' Gaya angrily 'DJ don't talk like a stupid. I won't believe. I know how much Prem love Heer.'

DJ 'she agreed for money. ask your son.' Gaya3 turned to Prem 'is it true Prem?' Prem stood up hugging Chahat and looked down the floor. Aditi too got up and staring at Prem. Gaya3 shouted 'Prem tell me.' Prem 'ha ma it is true but.' Gaya3 cut in 'don't you feel shame for doing like this?'

Gaya3 turned to Aditi 'how can you do like this?'

DJ 'why are you shouting at her Gaya3? She is not Heer.' Gaya3 and Lalit are shocked to hear this. DJ continued 'Heer left as soon the contract ended. She is acting as Prem wife in front of you.'

Lalit didn't understand anything and staring at Prem and Aditi in confusion. Gaya3 'that is why you two are behaving abnormally from the day returned from London.'

Gay3 slapped Prem 'why you did like this?' Prem with tears didn't say anything. Gaya3 turned to Aditi angrily 'now, you get last from here.'

Lalit 'Heer stop.' Aditi stopped. Lalit 'Gaya3 don't take any decision without listening properly.'

Gaya3 'what proof you want? Prem accepted from his own mouth.' Gaya3 shouted pointing the door 'get last. Why are you standing here?'

Aditi silently stepped away towards the door. Prem felt a feeling as if someone close to his heart is leaving forever. He wanted to stop Aditi. He helplessly looked at Lalit. He looked at Aditi who is nearing the door and stood silently in confusion. She looked back and blankly looked at Prem who is struggling.
