hmm. so. if you've seen some of the other posts i put up, you will know that i'm currently a .. uh .. leetle .. uh .. obsessed with trying to figure why i'm so obsessed with prem and heer. still, ie. 😆

i mean. no new stories. no new episode caps. no new phhandoohs, or pheyeoohs. i haven't been particularly dreaming about them in the middle of conversations. i haven't even particularly thought about them in my everyday life.

but switch on a story, a love story, a spy story, any story. show me a movie. sing me a song. and suddenly, there they are. taking over whoever is in front of my eyes. suddenly, it becomes about them. it's like they are in every story, every picture, every movie, every song. and so i understand, they still dominate my heart or whereever it is that my hopes about stories, and love, and happiness lie.

and yesterday, after a very long while, i got to lie back on the beach and think about nothing in particular. and suddenly, i remembered a new memory of prem and his heer. one that is not listed here. and it is this one:

it was such a small moment in the show that day.

there had been a pooja -- for bringing mr. ganesh-ji home? -- and heer was distributing sweets. prem was the last. and i remember, at about the time that this little pheyeooh-phhandooh-phheart-oooooooooooooh was happening, there was also a very cute moment between preet and gayatri-mom. where preet went to lie his head in his mother's lap, and after a while, she pushed him away, teasing him about not having a bath.

and so if you were not really watching, you'd have missed this little moment between heer and her prem.

which started with heer going to stand next to prem, and nudging him with her shoulder. and he then turns to take the prasad.

and it should've been just that.

except that he captures her with his eyes. in a way that no-one -- no single character on hindi tv even today, with all the bold new shows that are going on -- no-one has ever done. he captures her with that one look. love. desire. compelling her to stay in that moment. her hand frozen in the same spot. her eyes helplessly locked into his gaze.

so helplessly that it seems to take her a while to realise that he has not just taken the prasad, but also her hand in the most gentle-touched phhandooh ever.

and as she comes to, and tries to move away, probably with some embarassement for having fogotten herself so completely,he stops her just as gently, but as compelling as ever. because he wants to share his prasad with her. except there was drama that was gathering like a cloud over their heads, just as compelling as the love that had spun them into a private little cocoon in the middle of everyone else.

the drama which would have prem and heer end up in a perfect definition of a prem-heer conflict, which a perfect definition of a prem-heer resolution.

at least, so it was when the drama still had it's head-and-heart intact.

and would you believe it? even though i haven't had any moment of doing a refresh of this show in the last several months, i can remember every moment of this prem-heer phhandooh-pheyeooh perfectly.

*sigh* when is it going to go away?

i want to know.

E u are really in the mood to kill me today arent u? 😡 i didnt need this overdose of Premeer today u know! *runs afte estee with a belan* hmph! i hate you just like da way i hate ur two giggling demons! *glares* leaving the killing notion aside 😆 These caps are like my favorite from the show... the way he simply locked her in his gaze his eye's darkening with love, desire and passion for her ..*sigh* it left me breathless to tell you the truth.. and i didnt notice the phandooh .. was too lost in the pheyooh i guess but its soo beautiful so tender yar ... gosh i so hate dem!! urgh!

*sigh* It's the same with me..I go for hours without thinking of Premeer but the minute I listen to a song, or watch a movie or see a picture, I remember them. Even after the show is over, they still haunt me and I hate them for it😡 and I hate you for reminding me that I hate them😵

BTW, E!!! 🤗 If you don't come to PH FC, MNTRZ are suing you!

what? what?? what did i do this time?? i swear i left that lyin' cheatin' rosy falooda alone with her sneaky ratty friend, and never accused them of knowing each other on the sly! so why now??

dearest phorum-pholks mine. i barely spend an hour a month on this phorum -- you want me to go to a place where the very air is philled with preams?? what? you wanna that i get into even more trouble in life than i already am? 😔

and what's with this *pan*-ing action? 'taint violent, is't? 😕

and if it is, go *pan* prem and heer. who dare come between me (and all of you it looks like) and enjoying any other story any more.

i think it's universal knowledge that i hated the leap and what it meant for the story of prem-heer. it made no sense then. it makes no sense today.

the only thing that worked about the leap was ... the phukda, chahat. she was an incredibly lovely character, a really superbly sketched out personality partly because (at least for me) her character showed what a superb mother heer had been.

so some of my nicest memories are when he first met her -- in the garden, a big guy pulling rank on a little girl -- who was just so not intimidated! 😆

(seriously, that kid is a perfect mix-match of ag-hc -- i mean, i know that children are generally more of one parent than another. but if these two ever ever got together, and they decided to have a kid, well... 😆
now i begin to wonder who the little child playing phukda is going to look like as she grows older!!! 🤣)
