mazkachazka, nikhita: ya, there was something superb about it, no? i sometimes just can't put words into what moved me so about this pair. but sometimes... (unfortunately for you -- yes, sumi! unfortunately! 😆) i can! and not just words. but lots and lots and lots of words! 🤣

babycupid: ooh! i got a touch too! i got a touch. but now, of course, i want a pad. but -- sigh! -- that is not gonna happen anytime soon... you actually like watching stuff on the touch? gives me a headache. 😔

pooji: ya, that was actually the first we saw heer running ''as fast as the wind'' no? 😆 poor prem. although, i do wonder: if she hadn't distracted him with a dropped payal, would he have caught up with her sooner? 😍

bee: bee! bee!! bee!!!! *no, don't ask why. just. 😆* y'know the thing that i realise when i think of the start of the show vs. the end? that it started having all the standard bt-tricks, and shed most of it by the end -- did you notice? i mean, somewhere around the *beautifully shot* registhan episodes, they had totally changed the cinematography. although in actually, they had probably changed it before. 'cause there had been no zoom-in-zoom-out-slap-your-face-multi-coloured-camera effects even by the time of ajmer, no? and this was the first show where i think they used the overhead shots -- which were especially beautiful in showing prem coming in to stand close to heer. *sigh* remember the overhead shots of the soap-sud scene? haaaaiiii... 😍

but ya. this scene? this scene was strangely, magically moving. i soooo loved how prem stood and actually eavesdropped on heer while she was crying at the idol. respectful enough of someone else's privacy not to intrude. and yet, just not being able to look away. 😍 the prem-heer-are-one-ness was just soooo in place. 😍ridiculous that i eventually believed in it then so much that it is firmly in place even today.

*sigh*

but hey, guess what??! i have a new memory to post! i finally got some caps done -- not like modam happiness' caps, of course. she is wonderful. me, i'm too lazy.

but still -- i got 'em done.

'kay. one of the smallest but sweetest little prem-heer moment -- that is not talked about much, used much in vms, not even capped very much -- was that little moment when prem is sitting all wrapped up in a red blankie, looking very sorry for himself and being scolded for being a hero by his very fiesty sister-in-law(-to-be-in-more-than-one-ways!).

maybe it is 'cause whenever anyone starts seeing the episode-that-must-not-be-named, their brains get fried so badly, that by the time that they recover, they have skipped past this episode and land directly in the soap suds episode where they become refried brains. maybe that's why.

but me? i really do love this little moment. particularly how quiet heer was in comparison with her sister, and yet, she is the only one that prem heard all the time! 😍😍😍😍😍 seriously, those pheyeoooh conversations were so loud when they were in their little house in the chawl. sometimes i wish that we had had many more sessions just there. *sigh* the sweetest prem-heer were there. what a pity they were not the happiest...

Very beautifully written E. That scene was the beginning of the most intimate conversations between these two, wasn't it?

Just before this scene, Prem catches Heer watching him from the window above and it was as if he was getting ready for a scolding, but sis-in-law does the honors. 😆 The way he drinks the kadva juice all the while his gaze not letting go of her face - aai haai.... and yes Heer looks very beautiful here - as divine as the moon we can see from the window. Not once did these two bat their eyelids during the entire scene.... so captivated were they. 😍

That was magic E. Pure magic. Thanks for reliving those memories again for us.
