oh my poor conflicted soul! you are doing this search now? i soo feel for you -- i did so much of this in the first six months of the show. and i think i calmed down when i came to this conclusion:

that's just 'cause prem and heer had never fallen out of love with each other -- ever. through out time.

prem and heer have been, are and will always be in love with each other.

then where is the question of "falling in love"?

'cause that implies a start. and for every start, there had to be an end.

as for him falling in love with heer....i agree 101% with what you said :D but what i don't get is how did heer fall in love with prem? okay so she knew that the prem she met is "her prem" and she also knew that prem and his family didn't know that she was "the heer" LOL (hope i made sense there..) and yea sure she's super obedient...and therefore she knew from day one that she'll be married to prem..and so she "had" to fall in love with him??? i worded that as a question because well...i truly do wonder that! did heer have to fall in love with prem cuz her parents told her that their rishta is fixed??? cuz ..well....that's just weird...LOL

though i guess that's justified considering that heer came from a very old school type background......so okay......all izz well there....i'll come to a conclusion that heer naturally fell in love with prem....nothing to do with her parents......but....when she met him in ambala after like ages....how did she get attracted to him!! his name? seriously....his prem can't be the only prem on the face of this earth! i mean....they showed how prem was drawn to heer.....and i'm not gonna elaborate on tht cuz u already did... :) but how was heer attracted/drawn to prem?? LOL....

and when i start thinking along those lines....i feel that heer wasn't really given much of an opportunity to express her love for prem and his family.....wait no....lemme re-phrase that....heer was given more than enough opportunities to express her love for prem and his family..and she did :D but....heer was not given enough recognition for her dedication and sacrifices for prem and his family..as compared to all the "pats on the back" prem recieved for his kind heartedness!

okay..so in case i lost you there...the only time someone applauded heer was when prem thanked her for taking care of his family after the rishab fiasco (during their rain night...the night prem "cooked" chips for them), another time was when after prem's confession...gmom thanked heer for catching her bangles from falling, and another one was when preet went omgsh heer bhabhi's amazing...and that happened twice i think...when prem kicked heer out of the house, and when heer became the boss and came up with a solution to host some party at their hotel...... :)

fair enough?? i don't think so?? heer did SOOOOOOO much more for prem and his family! like so much more!! the whole veera, maya, gmom fiasco...simply thinking about everyone else 10 times each before even coming to herself! but no....nobody even cared about that...prem on the other hand.....every little thing he did was applauded for by his family!

i know i went completely off topic here...and sorry for the long bhashan..(did i remind u of lallu :P) but yea bottom line....i think prem's reason for falling in love with heer was justified.......cuz he was shown being drawn to her even tho he assumed that he's destined to be with someone else who apparently had passed away according to daljeet chachi! heer on the other hand....well...how the hell did she fall in love with prem?? that i feel is the question ! :D

So you are right they ere destined to be together, and the fact that heer was perfect was too convinient, but you could say that about any movie or show.

He fell in love with heer because he had that karmic connection with her and because he could sense her goodness. Also, i think prem has the tendency to save people- heer needed saving and that made her more appealing. lolx yeah heer the ultimate damsel in distress😆😆

Also, the mystery behind heer intrigued him. Honestly, from a critic's pov- I also think he was looking for an outlet from his pending marriage to ash. hmmm nice point ! me likes!😃

Of course, the viewers were only presented with one reason- destiny and a karmic connection. Which I believe in so its good enough for me! oh, how i miss the start of the show now!
