ok! as many revered, wizards of lurrrv hv already given their views abt Prem falling in lurrrrv with Heer, i wud also put in my two cents....

I dont disagree with ny body's view point, nor do I expect any one to agree with me.

ok! call me a cynic or whatever....but I think that Prem fell for Heer coz he was human!

Prem is suddenly asked to marry a girl he has never seen...then he finds out that she is dead, and as per her father's wishes, he has to marry her cousin! whom he hasnt seen either.....he isnt much amused when he spots Ash flirting with Preet...not his kind of girl anyways.....

When he sees Heer, he finds a perfect chance to engage his attention and affection towards a girl, who is beautiful, traditional, stands for the family, but is unreachable and forbidden for him.....coz she is already affianced!

and the attraction for the forbidden is thousand times stronger than sumthing which is available at ease....Heer was both a mystery as well as a challenge for him! She tried to stay away from him,coz she thought Lallu hated her father....but Prem read it as some sign...god knows what!

And Ranja just goes and phislofies!!! with his heart in his hands!

I do understand that the show was based on the story of eternal lovers...who were made for each other...and were supposed to be perfect...the living embodiment to true love...but gradually with the blessings of the creatives, they turned into HUMANS....with misunderstandings, troubles , arguments, distrust.....etc etc etc!

Ya I think Amu has a point.

Men like the thrill fo the chase, to go for something forbidden or unattainable.

but fortunately/unfortunately for Prem, Heer also phisalfied.

So 2 duffers were stuck with each other.

oh but i disagree that creatives made them more human.

they were human from the start.

once they had attained the unattainable and got married, there was no more magic for them or the viewers.

that is how it is. that's real life.

that happens when ppl hv temporary blindness,.....which is cured only after marriage!
