Part 9
I am so tired! but i promised an update so here it is! it may be confusing but i am too tired to care. šAlso, a special appearance by Sid!

Meher turned and was surprised to see Heer di's old friend yuvraaj. He had been in new york for a long time. She was surprised that he could make it. She gave him a warm hug. " You made it! Aunty said that you were too busy! Heer di will be so happy to see you!""Haan haan! I wanted to surprise her!"Meher took raj too see the rest of the family. Meher genuinely laughed for the first time in a long time. Preet gazed at her- she looked happy. He was glad that someone could make her feel better about everything that happened. Meher and ash danced to a mixture of songs and harman and preet joined them. Meher forgot all her troubles and danced. But the night was soon over. Meher was about to go home with her parents when teji reminded her that she was married and she must return to her sasural. Reality hit meher again and she joined the juneja family. She smiled looking at her heer di do her gra pravesh. She looked so happy, her eyes were twinkling. Meher wondered why she couldn't have this with preet. When preet and meher entered their room preet tried to talk to meher but she told him that she was too tired to talk and they should talk tomorrow. Both silently retreated to opposite sides of the bed. That night meher's phone rang. She silently got up and took the phone call in the batroom. Preet heard her and followed her to hear. All he heard though was "kya! Sach! Nahi main abhi nahi aa sakti hoon. Main tumse kal raat ko milungi."Preet wondered who she was talking too. he quicly went back to bed before meher came out.He decided that he would follow her tomorrow. Even if they were forcefully married, he thought he had a right to know what she was doing.
The next day meher helped with heer's moo dikayi tending too the guests. However, she quickly planned her escape. She told gayathri she should go home so no one would suspect anything and gayathri readily agreed. Preet did not notice meher leave as he was with his brothers.
As the guests began to leave, the boys came out of their baatein. Preet scanned the room for meher. "Ma, meher kahan hai?" preet questioned as he continuously scanned the room. "Beta, woh toh apne ghar gayi hai thake kisi ko shak nahi hove or woh balraj bhaisab ka khayal bhi raksake. Woh Kal sham ko tum usko pick kar le na. Waise, Meher tume baata ke nahi gayi thi?" gayathri said a little worried. "Haan, usne woh kal kuch kaha toh tha. " preet said a little distracted.
"ma, main abhi aya." preet said grabbing his keys.
Gayathri smiled thinking that he couldnt live without meher, little did she know the truth of their relationship.
Meher met her parents and then told them that she was going to meet raj as his family had flown in as well. When she arived at raj's house she was greeted by Raj's fiance Kajal, his brother and meher's childhood friend sameer, and raj's older sister, Sid. Meher was so excited to see all of them as they had been neighbors all their life. Sid had gotten married the previous year and moved to NYc, the brothers also started a biusiness there so they had left ludhiana. Raj had called meher the previous night, telling her of their arrival and Sid's admittance to the hospital. Meher had told him she would come the next day. Raj later told her that Sid had found out she was pregnant. Sid was like an older sister to her and Heer so she was so happy for her. Meher happily chatted with the family when she realized how late it was. naina aunty insisted that sameer drop her home s it was raining heavily. Meher agreed. As meher sat in the car she remembered what her life had become, and she cried silently. Sameer noticced and stopped the car. Meher told him everything( except for her wedding night) and he was shocked. He told meher how could she still live with preet, if he didnt love her. She needed to get her marriage annulled immediately. Meher agreed that she would once she was sure her bauji was better. Sameer comforted her. As they approached meher's house, sameer got out and gave meher a tight hug. Preet witnessed all of this as he had been waiting outside meher's house for her. He was fuming and left from there.

The next day
The car ride where preet picked meher up was again silent. As they drove, preet slammed on the brakes. Meher looked at him frightened, "preet tum kya kar rahe ho?"
"Wahi toh main tumse puch na chahata hoon! Tu nai is shaddi ki saari blame muj par dal di, aur upar e mujhse itni bari baat chupaye." preet said glaring at her. š š
