Chapter 38

Heer got up from her seat and she said "meher I will be back in a minute" with saying that she walked out of the hospital and meher and prem sat their thinking that where is heer going. Heer came out of the hospital and she went to the near garden and sat there on the bench trying to clear her mind and think about what she should be doing. Prem was feeling restless because he wanted to know where heer is gone too so he got up and went out of the hospital looking for heer but he didn't find her then he went to the garden to try his luck if she might be in there and yes he found her she was sitting on the bench looking lost in her chain of thoughts he walked to her and he was about to touch her shoulder but he stopped himself and he sat beside her and heer came out of her thoughts as soon as she felt his presence near her and she looked at him and stared in his eyes but she didn't speak , prem stared back at her looking into her eyes and trying to read them but there was nothing her eyes were showing blankness there was no twinkle in her eyes and then he saw tears rolling down her eyes and he was about to wipe her tears away when she held his hand to stop him and she said "not this time last time when you wiped my tears I did the biggest mistake of my life and I lost myself to you but never again I will never let you wipe my tears or even touch me" she let go of his hand and she turned her face away from him, prem felt angry after hearing her harsh words and he got up and left the garden he went to the car parking and unlocked his car and he drove the car to somewhere where he can find peace.

In the hospital gayatri and lali was sitting in the waiting area talking because the doctors asked lalit to take some rest so he was suppose to be on his own and that is why they were sitting in the waiting area. Lali smiled to herself and she said "gayatri sisters don't you think prem and heer should have a babies" gayatri smiled at her sisters stupidest and she said "lali they just got married couple of months back and you are thinking of kids already they have their own life and I don't mind they should have kids whenever they are ready" lali rolled her eyes and she said "oh my rabz don't give long lectures" gayatri ignored her and then lali thought of another topic she said "gayatri sisters I was thinking's that I should settle here" geet and meher was standing behind lali and before gayatri could answer geet signalled her to stay quiet and geet from the back said "maa why are you planning to settle in the hospital I mean is there any personal reason" gayatri and both the girls laughed and lali got angry she said "what's the meaning of personal reasons? Huh!!!" geet was giggling with meher and she said "you know maybe you found someone special likes you" and lali got up and she ran after geet but she couldn't chase her so she stopped running and sat down beside gayatri again and she was catching on her breath and gayatri saw her state and she said "lali geet was joking don't take her seriously" lali said "hai hai my rabz this girl is becoming dumb everyday and I will not tolerate her I have to do something" gayatri laughed and she said "lali she was only kidding" lali said "anyway sisters I was thinking of moving with you in your house if you donts mind because I donts want to leave geet here on her own you see I will miss her" gayatri smiled and she said "lali you can stay in my house till whenever you like I don't have any problems" lali got happy and she hugged gayatri and thanked her, geet and meher was talking but they got interrupted by meher phone and meher went outside to attends the call.

Heer got up from the bench and she started walking back to the hospital and as she was walking to the main entrance of the hospital someone bumped into her and she was about to fall she closed her eyes tightly and before she could fall someone held her from her waist and she opened her eyes and it was prem who saved her they both had their eye lock session but than heer heard the ambulance siren and she blinked and prem came out of his dreamy thoughts and he made her stand and let go of her waist and started walking into the hospital and heer walked behind him. They reached the waiting area and prem and heer was shocked to see everyone gathered around meher who was crying heer ran to her and she cupped her face and she asked "meher what's wrong? Why are you crying? What happened tell me?" meher didn't know what to say or how to say!!!
