The two friends caught a cab to Southall, since it's near Heathrow, Heer thought she'd splurge on the cab fare and avoid the long tube and bus journey in snowed up London.

It would still give them 45 minutes at least to catch up.

"Prem Juneja is a strange guy." Heer looked tired but happy to see Fari looking so worried.

"Strange? What does that mean? Does he walk funny? talk funny? look funny?"

"He slammed a door right in my face."

"Oh charming!"

"Yeah, a real prince!"

"So you just ran away and called me?"

"No idyaat! I had coffee with him and told him i was a barrister at law. He bought it!" Heer for the first time laughed out loud, slapping her thigh.

Fari looked at her friend without blinking. "Seriously etch (H), why? do you like torturing people?"

Now it was Heer's turn to look glum, "What? you don't find this funny?"

They both burst out laughing....more like an evil cackle, all the way to Southall.

They were in tears by the time they tumbled out with Fari's baggage on a Hampstead street where Heer lived.

All the Jalebis had been consumed by Fari.

In Heer's flat, Heer showed Fari Prem's picture. The same one her mausi had given her a month ago.

"I grabbed the pic from her and made sure she had no copies. I just wanted all talk of marriage to be ended right there."

"ok That was a month ago and now Prem is the hottest topic with you. I can see where this is going."

"The guy flattened my face! and the coincidence is what is getting to me, nothing else. I mean how spooky is this? I feel like I'm in a movie."

"Yeah, right. A really bad movie! I can't believe I flew all the way here for this!"

"Oye! what about the Jalebi!"

"Yeah yeah, the jalebi was worth a 7 hour flight."

"Oh come on, you needed an excuse to get out of NY. you wanted to show Biru that you have a life other than him.!"

"OK OK! Now since I'm here, I wanna see this Prem Juneja!"

"What! Are you barking mad? I don't have the foggiest idea where to find him!"

"What about that tube station same time tomorrow?..."

Jealousy. I have full faith in my Biru. He sworn on his towels that he'll stay loyal. 😳 Also not to mention, Deepu never dates her exes....she is always looking for new meat to try.
