Weekly Summary

Monday
Viren manages to convince Harman/Prem about getting a new lawyer…It's Meher's first rasoi ka rasam after her wedding so all are gathered to eat her mithai, however Gayatri creates drama about having a shanty paat for Preet…the family participates in the pooja and the mithai ends up being prasad…Viren takes it upon himself to finish the last rituals of the pooja…on his way he gets stopped by his brothers…we find out…Viren is evil!
Tuesday
Viren and his brothers discuss the barbadi of the Jhuneja family…when Viren goes to his house his Bhabi (SM) is not happy to see him until the brothers come and explain…then the whole family is happy and proud of him…Prem and Lallu decide to make Viren co-director at their hotel…Viren is happy on hearing this but G3 is not…meanwhile…Meher has some Meet flashbacks about roses and when Viren brings her roses she freaks out and yells at him…Lodi ki tayariyaan is going on…
Wednesday
Lodi ki rasams are going on…Viren is plotting stuff and saying that he just has to suck it up until his plan is complete…Meher is not happy doing all this with Viren…G3 is even more pissed…she creates a whole bunch of drama about Viren replacing Preet…She blames Prem for it all and says that everyone is celebrating Preet's death…she bad mouths Heer, Meher and Prem…Lallu then says that he leaves his wife today so she can go anywhere…everyone is shocked…G3 then swears that she will not return while Meher and Viren are married…
Thursday
G3 and Lallu split ways…Heer goes to try and get Lallu to stop while Meher goes to get G3 to stop….neither listen…G3 leaves…Viren wants to call and give his brothers the good news but finds out that they are at the bus depot…he goes there…however, that is also where Heer went to try and stop G3 once again…Heer doesn't see Viren but sees the other two monkeys…
Friday
Prem and Lallu go and reminis about G3 when Heer comes and says that she wasn't able to stop G3 from leaving…Viren is worried that Heer might say something about seeing the monkeys at the bus station…to keep that from happening he makes it seem like Heer is losing her mind…Prem kind of buys it…the next day he is trying to get her away form all of her responsibilities and take her out…after much refusal and excuses…Heer finally agrees…

Family
This week finding a family scene was so hard especially because the whole week focused on how Viren was succeeding in pulling wool over the Juneja's eyes. But if I had to pick one, I'd say the Lohri scene where Lalit Juneja stands up against Gayatri Juneja - where two parents are pitted towards each other to ensure what they feel is best for their kids. Yeah, I know Gayatri is way off line here, but at the core of it she's just a mother who's mourning her son's death (albeit in an unreasonable way). To me, this scene showed how parents can really go against anyone to ensure the best for their children - even if it is each other
Couple
Well…this week was filled with Jhuneja family drama but they did manage to sneak in a couple scene in there…the scene on Friday when Prem is so desperately trying to convince Heer to go out on a date with him…it was so cute…funny…and light…we really needed that after a week filled with Viren and Gayatri drama!! Premeer never fails to deliver!!
Dialogue of the Week

Ok…omg…is this just heart melting and heart breaking all at the same time…how can G3 say all those horrible things to a son let alone a son like Prem!! omg…this entire scene I had a lump in my throat because the love that Prem has for G3 is so evident…it was superb…and hats off to Harshad for pulling it off flawlessly!! loved it!!

OMG…when he said this I literally had my mouth gaping open! it was ridiculously good!! the look on G3's face when he said all that…omg…priceless!! it was really awesome…its so true…everyone is always talking about motherhood and the maternal instincts…its something all women are born with…somehow when you put a baby in a womans hands she knows what to do…how to sooth, how to play with…etc…even if its not their own child…being a mother is one of womens biggest and greatest dreams/accomplishments…and for Lallu to take that away in a matter of mere seconds!! all I can say is *woot woot*
OMG Moment of the Week

So this week's OMG Moment would have to be when Gayatri took that vow to not return until Viren-Meher's relationship exists because honestly, was someone else reminded of June 2008 when Gayatri "orders" Prem to propose to Heer? No one? Any one? Well to me it seemed glaringly similar and it made my jaw drop to see that beautiful scene reduced to such mockery by the creatives. Really! What were they thinking? The Gayatri Juneja then and the Gayatri Juneja now are POLES apart. That scene had me whispering "OMG" and it was not because I was awed by how wonderful it was.
Biggest Disappointment of the Week

Well its nothing on the show…but obviously the biggest disappointment this week is the announcement of Kis Desh ending in the very near future! im still not sure if its confirmed but regardless…how can they do this to up!! they cant take away Premeer like that…I mean…we are still not over them taking Meet away from us!! I hope something works out and Kis Desh stays on…*fingers crossed*

This week this award goes to the person who is one in the same…Harshad and Prem… *applause* …as Prem…his scenes were heart wrenching and heart breaking…the love and respect he has for his mother was the winning point this week…and it all goes hand in hand with Harshad who was able to bring the character to life so spectacularly! really…hats off to them both…Harshad and Prem have both grown as individuals and actors during the journey of Kis Desh! absolutely awesome!!

This week was pretty dull, however…I have to say…I loved Kul Di's suits…they are so colorful and fun…and she brings about a certain flair by just being her…loved it!! Heer's suits/saree's were nice too but its becoming a bit repetitive…lol…shopping time!! lol…

1. The Drama Queen Award: …goes to…*drum roll*…GAYATRI! (no points for guessing there!) omg…what is it with this lady and her making promises with the holy water…she promised that she will not set foot in this house while Meher and Viren are married…she also took the help of this same holy water when Premeer were living on their own and she wanted Prem to propose to Heer…uske paas stock hai kya? lol…I busted out laughing at this particular point of the show!!
2. The Oh-Yeah-Where-Have-You-Been Award: …goes to…*drum roll*…GEET! with all the drama and stuff going on in the Jhuneja house…I had completely forgotten about Geet until G3 had called Jasmeet to say she is leaving Lallu and the house…lol…we need Geet's snooping powers now…someone needs to catch onto Viren soon!!
3. The Spinal Award: …goes to…*drim roll*…LALLU! I must say, I was very happy and surprised by his actions of kicking G3 out of the house…then the explanation he gave Heer…wah! he knows his wife and he knows that he stops her from leaving now he will be screwed for life…he is giving that crazy woman too much power as it is…I loved it…looks like someone found his back bone again!! lol…congrats!!
4. The More-Screen-Time Award: …goes to…*drum roll*…MAYA…you know…ever since she has turned positive Maya has disappeared…I know she was busy shooting for a movie but that was a while ago…why don't they put her in more scenes…she is always in the back ground…she has maybe one like per week (at the best)…I really think they can work with her character and the Harman/Maya track…
NOTE: sorry guys…this is all I can come up with this week…my brain is fried after covering for so many sections…lol…please excuse…

Ok…first of all…*kaan pakering*…so so so sorry for the delay in posting the KDC this week…but had a ton to do at work and then covering all the sections took more time than I though it would…add to that me trying to catch up on the show 24…which special guest is Anil Kapoor…lol…but here it is…our 44th issue!! wow!! can you believe it…crazy huh…
