Part - 41

Prem screamed 'Heeeeeeeeeer'.

He saw the entire room is dark. He couldn't see anything. He managed to find the location where he is. He sensed that he is in the bed. 'How come I came here? Where is Heer?' He stretched his hand to switch on the bedside light. He got up sat straight in the bed with tears rolling down his cheeks. Unknown fear griped his heart. His heart started beating fast. He is sweating very badly. The Air-conditioner running and the sweating on his body make him shiver. He tried to recollect what he saw.

He remembers 'I went down to talk to Dad. But I didn't. I must have slept.'

He realised that he saw a dream. He jumped out of the bed 'I have to see Heer immediately.' He wiped his face. He came out of his room and ran to Heer room. It is open but no sign of Heer there. he called 'Heeer'

Lalit and Gaya3 noticed Prem going down fast with fear. He went to the kitchen. Heer is not there. Prem asked a servant about Heer. She didn't give any proper answer to him. he didn't want to waste time there.

Prem shouted 'Heer, where are you?' he opened doors of many rooms downstairs. He ran out to the garden shouting 'Heeeeeer'. All the servants working in the mansion heard his voice. Everyone stared at him 'Why he is shouting like this?' they looked at each other with confusion. His hair ruffled and his shirt wet with sweating.

Prem ran to guest house like as a mad shouting Heer's name. He saw servant working in front of the guest house. Prem is breathing heavily 'Chacha, did Heer come here?'

Gardner surprised by Prem's appearance 'no beta. What happened? Are you alright beta?'

Prem 'ha Chaha. I'm fine. But are you sure that she didn't come here?'

Gardner confidently 'yes beta. I'm sure.'

Prem walked away from there with confusion. He prayed to God 'what I saw should be a dream? Heer should be safe.'

Every second he felt like a day for him. 'What is the meaning of that dream?' one side he is happy that it is just a dream. Other side his heart felt fear. He sat in a swing. He recollected his dram 'I saw his face. yes he is Rishab.' He got up from the swing 'What is the intention of Rishab. Is he trying to spoil my Heer?' he clenched his fist 'I'll not leave him if he tries to harm my Heer.' He wants to see Heer. He came into the house and checked the time. It is 7.30. 'What she is doing in the office?'

Prem heard car entering mansion. His heart felt a jump. His joy faded when he saw Preet entering alone. 'Where is Heer?'

Preet didn't answer his question and walked to his room without even looking at Prem's face. Prem got angry.

Prem was sitting alone in the table waiting for Heer. A servant served dinner for him. He is not interested in eating. His thought is only about Heer now. He lost all his patience and burst out in anger. Gaya3 came to take water for Lalit. She is about to walk away without noticing Prem who is angrily looking at her. To get her attention Prem pushed the chair with a heavy noise and got up.

Prem shouted 'Ma, what's happening here? Where is Heer? She is not '

Gaya3 turned to him calmly and cut in 'you don't have any other option. You have to practice to adjust without Heer.'

Prem looked at him with questioning face. 'why?'

Gaya3 'I have to take care of your father. So I can't prepare food for you. Preet is going to handle the hotel and he can't do it alone. So Megher decided to help him. so she too can't give time to household.'

Prem in tension 'Ma, I'm asking about Heer and you are giving others duty list. Where is Heer?'

Gaya3 signed him to be quiet 'Heer is going to Ludhiana to take care of the hotel there. She is going with Chahat. So better you stay away from Chahat. She needs to adjust with new people there.'

Prem with concerning voice 'why Heer is going there alone? Chahat is sick and How she will manage Chahat alone there?'

Gaya3 cut in 'that is not your problem.'

Prem in anger 'who planned this? I won't allow her to struggle alone.' He threw a glass down on the floor. It broke into pieces. 'Ma. Please listen to me. Where is Heer now?'

Gaya3 is calm 'You don't want to see Heer's face isn't it? Dad decided to give you happy and peaceful life. Heer too decided to move out of your life forever. Now you don't have to face her. She is leaving t'row morning. Enjoy your life with your FRIEND SANJANA.' Gaya3 walked away leaving angry Prem alone.

Lalit, Preet and Megher welcomed Gaya3 inside a room. They showed her the thumbs up sign. Lalit 'I never knew that you can act so smart.' Preet gave encouragement pat on Gaya3's shoulder 'Ma, you are great. Now PB will come down only with Bhabi. He won't allow her to leave'. They peeped out to look Prem's reaction.

Prem thanked God that Heer is safe 'its only a dream'. But he stamped his feet on the floor thinking 'how can Heer leave me like this.' He ran upstairs. 'Heer'

Others slowly came and watched Prem running to Heer's room. They shook hand in victory.

Prem opened the door of Heer's room. She is packing her things with tears. Prem walked in 'Heer' she looked up. He angrily pulled her up to stand on her feet. His eyes are red in anger 'Heer, why are you leaving me like this?'

Heer shrugged his hand away 'I'm not your Heer.' He pulled her back to him 'Heer'. She pushed him away. She is about to concentrate on her packing again.

Prem turned her towards him 'Sorry Heer, I hurt you. I almost died without seeing your face. Chahat is the only consolation for me. Ma didn't allow me to see Chahat also.' Heer gave doesn't care look. 'Heer, if you both leave me like this what I'll do?'

Heer 'I'm not cared. Why should I care about you? who are you to me?' She picked up a picture from the bed side and placed it on Prem's hand 'this is your wife and daughter. Survive with this. I can't help you.'

Prem looked at her with tears. She went to the cupboard 'I'm Anjali and I came here for your money.' She came back to him with some jewel boxes. She placed one on his hand above the picture 'this you presented to your wife for her first KC.' She placed one by one referring the occasion. Prem just stared at her. Heer removed payal from her legs and placed above all the jewel boxes. With tears rolling down her cheeks and with trembling voice 'this is the first ever gift you gave to your Heer.'

She turned to other side, hiding her tears from him. He dropped all the things on the bed. He turned her towards him holding her shoulder with his hands 'Heer, I didn't remember anything.'

Heer in anger pushed his hand away from her body 'you lost only your memory not brain isn't it?' she turned away again. Prem went to her front. In a pleading voice 'Heer, Give me sometime.'

Heer 'how long? How long Prem? I fed up with your behaviour. You chase me out like a dog. When I move away from you, you will tell me to stay. Do you think I'm a doll to dance to your tune.'

Prem with tears 'Heer, I'm confused. Try to understand me.'

Heer in anger with tears 'enough Mr. Prem Juneja. Don't try to fool me again. I agree that I came between you and Sanjana. but that is not my fault. You told me to act. I stayed within my limits till you accepted me as your wife. Now, you are torturing me every second with that Sanjana. If you still love Sanjana then marry her and live happily with her. I won't come back to you again. I can live with my Prem's memory.' Her words fumbled with anger and tears.

Prem hugged her tightly and she tried to push him away 'Heer, I cannot live without you. I love you Heer. Please don't go away from me. I'll die.' Heer stood without any word. Only tears came down to her cheeks. He cupped her face and looked into her eyes with pleading face 'still I don't remember anything but I believe that you are my wife. You are my Heer. Please Heer. Don't go away from me.' He cried like a child.

She melted in his words. She gave up her anger and buried her face into his chest.'I won't leave you Prem. I love you.' she cried holding his shirt tightly. He kissed her forehead. He promised to himself 'I'll not allow you to shed tears hereafter.'

Prem wiped her tears. She wiped his tears. He touched her forehead with his. Both smiled. He hugged her tightly close to his heart. He felt she is still sad. He understood the reason for her sadness. He cupped her face in his palm 'believe me. Chahat will be okay soon.' Heer nodded. He kissed her forehead.

Prem in a pleading face 'Heer, keep all these things inside and come down fast.' With a pubby face ' I'm hungry Heer.' In lower voice 'I like to eat from your hand.' She playfully hit his chest with her fist. He hugged her tightly. she leaned on to his chest 'how can I prepare dinner now?' he smiled and kissed her forehead. he released her from his hand. she smiled and gave a kiss on his cheek. He is surprised by her romantic move.

Heer kept the jewel boxes inside the closet and moved the suitcase to the corner without unpacking. Prem looked worried. Heer looked at Prems' sad face 'Prem, don't worry. I'll arrange it later inside the cupboard. Prem smiled and went down 'Come fast.'

Lalit, Gaya3, and Preet noticed a smile on Prem's face. They exchanged a smile. Megher and Chahat came there to join them. Megher let Chahat down. She ran to Prem and he picked her up and kissed her cheeks. 'you are going to stay with Papa. I won't allow you to go anywhere.' She wrapped his neck with her hands and kissed his cheek. she kept her head on his shoulder. Others watched father-daughter love with a smile.

Prem sat in the sofa next to Lalit with Chahat 'Dad, let Preet goto Ludhiana. Heer will stay with me here.' He kissed Chahat cheek 'I always want to be with my Heer and Chahat.'

Preet 'halo PB, I cannot leave Dad and Mom like this. I'm chand's boy.' He winked at Lalit. Lalit showed him a fake angry face.

Gaya3 'no one is going anywhere. Dad just played a trick to bring out your feeling for Heer. Even Heer don't know about this plan.'

Prem looked down with a sad face 'yes, I understood that Heer is my life. I made a mistake.'

Preet 'PB, its all happens sometimes. forget it. lets enjoy.' Heer came down the stairs and she gave a thankful smile to others. She quickly walked to Kitchen with Megher. Lalit told Prem about his discussion with the doctor in US and arrangement he has made to start Chahat's treatment.

Sanajana saw everyone gathered in the dinning table. 'Heer is also sitting with them.' her anger raised when she saw Heer sitting next to Prem. Prem is feeding Chahat, who is sitting on Prem's lap. Without noticed by others Prem quickly dumped a piece of Paratha into Heer's mouth. Heer blushed and ate without making any scene. Sanjana noticed it and decided to spoil their smile.

Sanjana walked and sat to other side of Prem. Chahat gently tapped Sanjana on her shoulder. Sanjana looked at Chahat with confusion. Chahat with a smile pointed a seat next to megher in the opposite.

Sanjana 'its okay. chahat. I'm comfortable here.' Chahat again tapped her shoulder and pointed the seat. Sanjana got irritated and ignored. She showed her angry face to Chahat.

But Chahat didn't allow her. she pointed the seat and screamed 'gooooo'.

Preet choked his food. Lalit gave a playful smile shaking his head. Megher hides her laugh by giving water to Preet. Gaya3 and Heer looked at each other to suppress their laugh. Prem sweetly smiled 'Sanjana do what Chahat says.' Sanjana moved to the seat next to Megher.

Prem whispered to Heer 'my daughter is my bodyguard.' He kissed Chahat head and continued his dinner.

After Dinner, Lalit and Gaya3 went to their room. Preet and Megher went to their room. Heer went to get milk for Chahat. Prem picked up Chahat and about to climb the stairs. Sanjana called Prem. Prem turned to look at her. Chahat hands around his neck. she kept her head on his shoulder. her forehead touching his neck. she looked at Sanjana with a smile. Her lying posture on Prem's shoulder conveyed Sanjana that 'Only I have rights on my Papa.'

Sanjana didn't like the way Chahat hugging Prem. Prem kissed Chahat and looked at Sanjana. Sanjana with anger 'Prem. it is not fair that you insulted me in front of everyone.'

Prem smiled 'you should have obeyed when my Chahat politely pointed the seat.'

Sanjana noticed Prem pressing 'my Chahat' She with anger 'why should I obey to her?'

Prem 'she is the princess of Juneja Empire. Everyone should obey to her.'

Sanjana 'I'm going to be the queen of this house. She won't have right in this house after you divorce her mother.' Prem didn't give any answer to her. he climbed the stairs without even looking her face again. Only Chahat looked at her from Prem's shoulder and smiled. Sanjana blood started boiling. She walked to her 'every time this Chahat spoils my plan. I need to do something. She is his weakness.'

Heer came to her room and happy to see Prem sitting with Chahat on the bed. She is sleeping and he is staring at her lovingly. She quickly went to change. She got shocked when she saw Prem is about to move out of the room. He turned when he heard washroom door opening.

Prem stretched his hands out towards her and she ran into his arms. He hugged her and nuzzled her face with his nose. She felt weak and leaned on to his upper arm. She closed her eyes. He pushed her hair away from her shoulder and kissed her bare shoulder. She tilted her head to give him comfortable position to touch her shoulder and neck curves. He rubbed his lips on her shoulder.

He stroked her hair 'don't mistake me Heer, give me time.'

Heer agreed thinking 'I believe you Prem. I'll wait for you.'

He kissed her forehead 'Good night.' she gently placed a kiss on his cheek 'good night. call me if you wants anything.' he nodded and left with a smile. She stared at the door for a while and went to sleep near Chahat.
