ooh. now that was a rather interesting episode! 'cause we find out that gi-it does love heer more than prem after all! 🤣 i wonder what we are going to find out next... 🤣

* big thing: wasn't it weird how, of all the people in that group, it was the wedding organiser who was the most hysterical about the impending death of this engagament??! 🤣 i mean, generally, at such a break-up isn't it the groom or the bride who should be that hysterical?? 🤣

* little thing: ouch. heer almost lying to her daughter. in front of prem. ouch. i'm soooo glad she stopped....

* little thing: and in her place, stepped up gi-it, brutally honest.

and not a whit troubled!! er... so. are we in mahabharat and gi-it is krishna? or are we still in ramayan and gi-it is playing hanuman to heer's ram? *ow! my head is spinning with all the mixing and matching that i'm doing with the poor indian classics! 😆*

seriously, why does gi-it love heer so much?

are we finally gonna get to see what it is that binds them so closely together?? i want to know!

'cause every thing in that first gi-it--heer interaction was that strange inexplicable love of gi-it's for heer.

* prem thing: um. i knew prem was going to answer how he did to evil glob's lie.

i mean, he had refused to lie to ashlesha so long ago; how would he do anything less today?

what i thought was special about this prem was how all that he said was actually not to glob or the rest of the crowd, it was to heer. telling her that he knew that she loves him like she always has.

and unlike that ashlesha time a long time ago, when what prem said was actually for his father as well, this time -- he looked like he didn't give a damn for glob!

very, very interesting...

* little thing: heh. pbauji's thoughts coming to his lips as he said: tell her, prem, tell her! just as i loved his rather shame-faced reaction to new harman grinning when he did. 😆

* ewwww thing: ewwwww!!!! heer telling gi-it to take the ring and get engaged to prem. that was totally outright ewwwwwwwwww!!!

i mean, unless she thinks that gi-it is totally brain dead and will follow her in whatever she said, that entire piece from heer to gi-it was emotional-manipulative and overly-dramatic. everyone who was watching would just leap to wondering what the heck she was getting so darned emotional about, no??

i mean, i know the story so far, and it seemed weird to me!!

ewwwwwww!!! heer. that sucked. big time. 😛

* little thing: *sigh* y'know? i think that gi-it glob is one strange ewdding organiser! it's only now that she understood what made heer act all weird and strange when prem was around???

how ever did she get this business going to a point at which she has a large office and so many employees??

personally, i thought it was insane that gi-it and her glob never once asked about (a) prem's first wife, and (b) how and why they broke up before getting into this gi-it marriage deal with prem, no?

i mean, i'd have figured that the bride's family would do everything to check out the prospective groom's history before tying a girl up with some (potentially loony) guy?

but hey, what do i know? 😆 never been in an engagement situation 'fore. divorcee or not. 😆

* big thing: oooh, but i don't care much 'bout this 'cause she used that to slap (metaphorically, thankfully) glob in the face about being a big fat liar and cheat!

haven't you heard, glob? the winds, the stars, and all the universe want prem-heer-are-one to prevail. you wanna take 'em on? newsflash! you are large. just not that large! 🤣

* heer thing: what a funny set of things to fight for! no heartbreak for gi-it, and prem-gi-it's love story getting a chance.

duffer! did you see any sign of gi-it breaking up over prem's declaration that he loved you?? did you??! you didn't! 'cause it was not there!

and if you want a story of love to keep prem happy forever after, search for another girl -- preferably a clone of yourself, heer 😆 -- 'cause i have a feeling that no-one else in the universe -- not prem, not his winds, nor his gurus -- want this to happen, heer! no matter what nonsense he spouted when he first met you at soni-plane-guy's pre-wedding ceremony - no-one but you want it to happen. * little thing: another interesting screen moment -- meher's absolute joy that the engagement hasn't happened compared with heer's total misery that it hasn't.

oooh, and at the end, meher too wondering what the heck has happened to heer didi.

great! that makes two-two people at jzoo wondering. can you all please, please, please find out what??! instead of just sitting around waiting to be told what was wrong?? at least we have an excuse -- we have no other choice than to w&w. you guys are in the story -- surely, you can actually do s'thing!

* big thing: y'know what i thought hearing heer react to the news that god has answered meher's prayer and not hers? after hearing heer say that she will get this marriage between prem and gi-it done?

that there is one way she can get it done: by killing herself. don't you think too? 'cause only after she is out of the picture forever, will prem ever even consider anyone else. (not only prem -- and it also looks like that it's true for gi-it. 😆)

'cause all her pushing away of prem in all the most fierce, passionate ways possible hasn't worked. her emotional manipulation of gi-it hasn't worked. so what can you do now, heer, you desperate-for-some-weird-reason heer?

that's the solution -- suicide. all your problems -- of being not worthy of prem, and therefore probably not being worthy of phukda -- will be solved. everyone will be then free to be as happy as they can be, heer! 😡

* phukda thing: thooooo thweet! the way she agreed with her papa with a whisper of a smile on her face about how she loves her toys....

prolly is a prem dolly. holly is a heer dolly. and now, i think now that i need to add a phukda dolly -- a polly!!🤣 prolly and holly and polly. 🤣 or should that be a cholly? 🤣)

* prem thing: for the first (?) time, i liked how hc played prem with phukda.

here's a guy with his daughter. who he has never met before. who he found he loved despite that, and after that. who is keeping himself at arm's length because now -- of all times! -- he is suddenly unsure about how his future with this child is going to play out.

and so when she was bubbling over with happiness with dreams of having her own family of mama-papa in her eyes, prem was muted in his own happiness. the child could see he was happy at having her. he could confess that he would never be complete without her and her mama in his life. but beyond that, he made no promises. in fact, he neatly side-stepped that sweet innocent question of ''shall we get mama here now?'' with a quiet answer of ''not just yet''.

and i thought that was one of the first signs of mature parent reaction from prem.

and i liked very much how hc played that one. seriously.

one more thing: i loved his expression, his voice, his everything when he asked her: ''kya?'' when she said she knew what they should do. i fiercely loved it. like he had fought hard to tamp down all his misery just so that his little sensitive daughter wouldn't know the depth of it. in that one word, his voice. his voice. his voice... 😍

* prem thing: i really liked him in this whole episode. i mean, i really liked him.

let me qualify: it's not like my usual reaction to prem is not positive. it is. it's just that it's more ... uh ... primeval. 😆 today, it was civilised. intellectual. calm. without involving large raging doses of hormones. it was... well. i guess you get the picture? 🤣

today, for the first time in a long time, i liked him as a guy. 'cause for the first time, his reaction was not some knee-jerk hero-guy reaction. prem felt like a guy who has seen the one person who he lives for, tell him with her eyes, her arms, with -- ''every hair on your head, every line on your face'' -- that she loves him, wants him, needs him as much as she ever has. but at the same time, fiercely tell him with her voice that he is not what she wants for her future. with her voice say that prem-heer-are-no-longer-one!

what i liked about prem today is that he seemed to be seeing the intensity of that belief in heer for the first time today. until now, it was as if he had dismissed it as an old hurt that he had inflicted years ago that she was still aching under. but today, in the desperation of her passionate declaration to gi-it that he was her past and only her past, it looked like he finally saw that there was something grave tormenting his heer.

something deep and grave in her eyes that he would have to go back to asking: ''tumhare ankhon mein itna dard kyun hai?'' and solve it to win her mind and soul back to him.

the only thing that troubled me watching prem today was when he was standing in his room at his window all alone, there was something of a defeated air about him. i hoped that i was wrong -- that it was just an air of fear that he might actually not get his heer after all; an attitude of prayer that he was sending off to the skies in the hope that he might be answered about what is troubling his heer so much that she would do such a public declaration of prem-heer-are-not-one-anymore.

and so i liked how having phukda seemed to strengthen the steel in his soul. how he seemed to be assuring himself at the end that if he had heer's shadow, how could he not have heer?

me keeping my fingers crossed for you prem. but i do wish you would ... well. you know what i would want. me keeping my fingers crossed (fiercely!) for you, prem.

* big thing: *sigh* i was wondering how -- after all that drama that heer did of portesting and insisting and crying that all she had ever wanted was for prem and gi-it to get married -- glob would find a reason to hate heer even more.

of course, it had to be heer sending phukda to prem's room, explicitly to find and bring out the photo album, no?

and what was chilling in that glob-analysis was how she didn't blame phukda for anything. nor did she blame prem for what he said about loving heer forever. 'cause how can she blame people that she wants to get to keep as possessions? her thoughts have just one criminal -- heer. the one that is expendable and that she wants out of the picture. so she assiduously collects evidence to convict heer in the glob-court-of-justice. we'll see, glob. we'll see what happens in a real court, with a real judge. i just hope that the judge will not have to be prem....

*sigh* so what's new? w&w...

highlight of the episode: phukda totally flipping for the analogy of her love for her toys being the same as the love for her mama-papa and her. 😊 tho thweet. even though i still think that she is being treated as a marginal addition just now to the prem-heer-are-one story, i think she is a very sweet marginal addition indeed. 😆 go chahat, you sweet little phukda you! 🤗

I have no doubts in my mind that what Git feels for Heer is what she might never feel for another person. Her feelings for Heer are almost as Prem's feelings for Heer...almost as same as Glob's feelings for Prem, sorta. Her obsession with Heer sorta freaks me out, sometimes I think she's more obsessed with Heer than Prem is.

I am surprised you didn't post a whole post about JA's expressions with pictures. Actually for that, I thank you. It really scared me this moring at 5 am watching her expressions....I really thought the ladoo would burst open.

I didn't even watch today's episode b/c I am so tired of Heer and he illogical excuses for not keeping Prem for herself.....look at me, treating Prem like a possession. Aha, well Prem is my shweetu so I guess I can do whatever I want😉.

Anyhoo, thanks for the analysis, it was amazing as usual......question though, does it get redundant hearing tareef about you exceptional observation skills and then beautifully translating in the post???? I bet it does, so I suppose no more tareef on your excellent power.....so me stopped for your own good😆
